SATURDAY / HUBBY PICKS UP TIRES AT MOAPA TRUCK STOP

SATURDAY

5-6-2023 

Hubby got up at 5AM to grille chicken outside. 

While Hubby was gone, I watched TV. Made a latte for myself and had a bagel.

At 6AM Hubby went to get tires in Moapa Truck Stop Travel Plaza to meet the Raceline rep. He picked up the trailer with the Jeep. Hubby had to call Byron to get keys to get into the shop because keys were in the Dually at Byron's wrap shop while it was getting wrapped.

He got back and unloaded the trailer. Put it back in storage at Jose's lot. 

Came back home and had food. Then he went to the Jeep Club meeting at the trailhead by Ben Franklin Drive (water tower). Hubby met with the Kokopelli Club because they were going to a memorial service on the Mesa with the 4-door UTV that we loaned them. 

Hubby stopped to get Wendy's burgers for the dogs and a salad for me. He then went to wash the Jeep at the Tag N Go car wash.

Hubby drove by the Tractor Supply store and they were having a "soft opening".

 

Then he came back at home by Noon. 

 

I took a nap. 

 

Hubby watched Automotive shows. 

 

Chad from Super ATV called and was in town on a ride, got a B&B because it was too late to drive home so he needed a place to put his UTV. He called and Hubby had Casey put it in because he was still at the shop.

 

 Jay & Amy dropped off the UTV loaner late at our house at 11PM.

Up at 6AM. Rattler walked on me. He tried sniffing my hands with his wet nose to wake me up. I bundled up under the blanket. 

Hubby and Tater woke up. Hubby let the dogs out for potty.

 

Hubby warmed up breakfast eggs in the microwave for the dogs & fed them.

 

We made the bed. Hubby played with red light for Sage.

 

We hugged Sage together. She started purring and did not seem to mind too much.

 

I cleaned up kitchen and put dishes in dishwasher. '

 

I took all the clothes and put in washer. 

 

I did bookwork in the morning. 

 

Watched TV in the afternoon.

 

Put away clean clothes. Put away clean dishes.  

 

Hubby called me at 2PM and asked me to order a couple pizzas to be delivered to the shop because they did not have time to leave for lunch.

At 2:30PM, I brought the dogs inside and locked the doors. I left for my nail appointment. When I was leaving the subdivision, I got a text from Andy asking to reschedule for Sunday at Noon. So I called him to verify.

I drove back home.

At 4:30PM, I called Hubby to ask if he needed a ride home, so I drove to the shop. About 1 block away, he called me and said he did NOT need a ride home. I drove down there anyway. Waited for him to leave. Had a piece of pizza which gave me heartburn all night. Jay picked up a loaner UTV for a memorial service on the Mesa that the Club was having for one of their members.

We drove home.

Watched TV for a while. Then went outside and sat on the patio. It was a cool night. Finally had to come inside at 7:45PM as the wind was too cold. 

I took a hot bath and hurt all over. Took a nap on the sofa.

Woke up at 8:45PM and Hubby made the bed. I went to bed at 9:30PM.

Hubby stayed up for 2 more hours before finally coming to bed. Then he had to chat another 30 minutes. I was in a bad mood because I wanted to sleep.

Nightmares all night.

MAY 4 2023

 

 

 

Awake at 5:30AM when I heard Hubby banging around in the kitchen. He could not sleep-said that Tater had pushed him out of bed and it was too hot.

 

So I got up and went potty. Went back to bed. Hubby came to sleep with me for a few minutes. Wilson got back into bed. Tater chewed his camper blanket. Sage got up to nap with us. 

 

Then Hubby was up again. He could not rest. I slept for another 15 minutes. 

 

Up at 6AM. I got dressed.

 

Went to the kitchen to make latte for Hubby. Cleaned up counter and put dishes in dishwasher. I put dirty clothes in laundry and Hubby started the washer.

 

I transferred $ from Quickbooks to Bank. 

I made a latte & toasted an english muffin in the toaster.

 

I filled out an application for a Vendor online while Hubby was standing over me. (for Chris to purchase parts on his new truck).

 

Hubby called Vroom / SafeGuard and talked to Jason only to RESUBMIT the same paperwork for the 4th time. This company is a PAIN IN THE ASS.

I put Tater's clean collar on him. Hubby & Tater left at 8:45 for the shop. 

Lots of dark clouds, so I texted Yogi to reschedule the window cleaning for another time. He texted back to reschedule for May 12. 

Wilson and I took a walk down to the park where we saw a bunny. I saw the 3 evergreen trees in LeAnn's back yard and want to get one in our yard. Walked to the mailbox and got the delivery from Amazon for dog treats & dog supplements.

It got REALLY windy outside. I could SMELL the rain in the air. It got really moist outside. I brought the pillows & cushions in from the back patio.

 

I finished doing bookwork.

 

Put away clean clothes.  

Some neighbor brought over some JUNK mail while I was in the front bathroom going potty. NO PRIVACY AT ALL. Wilson barked at the front door. The neighbor did not introduce himself and did not ring the door bell. It was odd. He handed me the mail ALREADY OPENED and blamed it on his wife. I threw the mail in the garbage. 

 

WEDNESDAY / IV INFUSION FOR ME ALONE / HUBBY GETS HOME REALLY LATE

Awake in the middle of the night. Too hot from Tater sleeping against me. I go out to the living room and sleep on the sofa. Nightmares. Torturing dreams. Hubby comes out and puts another blanket on me. I wake early morning as the sun comes up and I hear heavy equipment and trucks driving past again. I pull the blanket over my head to sleep longer. I am sweating. I throw off both blankets, then cover up with the red one again. 

 

 Hubby gets up and starts making breakfast eggs for the dogs. He lets them outside for potty.

I get up and dressed. I open the front door and the back screen. MUCH cooler this morning. Wish this could go on thru summer. It is 57 degrees outside. 

 

Make latte for Hubby. I make Nanogreens for myself.

I transfer $ from Quickbooks to Bank.

 

I picked up dog poo in the yard. There was a lot. Wilson had accidentally dropped some gooey poo on the door sill when he went out late last night.

 

Hubby sits on the sofa to watch Automotive shows. 

Hubby cleaned cat litter. He asked me to order new cat litter.

Hubby put Tater's collar on the dog. Then they left. I went outside to say goodbye.

I did bookwork. I had to order a wiring harness from Amazon. I paid SBA. 

I ordered Tidy Cat to be delivered from Walmart between 6-7PM tonight.

I called Hubby but he said he would be late to IV Infusions. He was getting vehicles shuttled over to Mesquite Days by the Community Center. 

So I drove to IV Infusion at 2:45PM. Got my infusion and shots. Erica was there. I talked to a nice lady there at infusions. I left at 4PM.

Drove to Dairy Queen for a hotdog, cheese bites, and a M&M blizzard.

Drove home. Let Wilson out for potty. Gave him treats.

I had no interest in eating the food. I sat down and watched TV. 

Hubby was still not home by 6PM. He said he was just getting done. He & Tater got home by 6:45PM. They arrived at the same time as the Walmart delivery person brought 3 buckets of Tidy Cat. Tater ran out into the road to greet him. Wilson was whining inside because Tater was so late coming home.

Hubby had dinner. Then we sat down to watch TV. He fell asleep on the sofa.

I went to bed at 9PM. Hubby finally came to bed at 11PM.

Up at 6:30AM. Really tired. 

 

Hubby got up to let the dogs out for potty and started making them breakfast eggs. 

 

I got up and dressed. Went to the kitchen to make latte for Hubby. Hubby fed the dogs.

 

We made the bed. Hubby played with the red light for Sage cat. 

 

We sat on the sofa and watched Donut King on Hulu. 

Then Hubby had a couple phone calls. He got dressed.

I transferred $ from Quickbooks to Bank. I reviewed emails.

I put collar on Tater. Hubby got his stuff together and they left for the shop at 8:30AM. Hubby had already brought the garbage can in from the street and put it away behind the fence.

I did bookwork. I picked up dog poo.

I made a blueberry bagel with cream cheese and a latte. Ate breakfast.

I cleaned up the kitchen counter. I started the dishwasher. I put dirty clothes in washer and started it.

Hubby called at 9:30AM asking me to order 4 pizzas for Roadrunner Tire.

I got online and ordered pizza from Dominos.

Up at 6:30AM. 

Hubby got up to let the dogs outside for potty and make breakfast eggs for them.

I got dressed and made latte for Hubby.

I transferred $ from Quickbooks to Bank.

I paid bills. 

Hubby cleaned cat litter. 

We decided that Tater should stay home because it was going to be excessively windy and hot out today. 

At 8:35AM, Hubby went out to unload the donation bags that we had not been able to drop off yesterday because all the Donation places in St George were closed. 

He loaded the Rough Country (heavy) boxes into the back of the Dually. He left for the shop after that.

Tater was not happy about staying at home.

At 10:30AM, Cayden from Bulldog Pest Control came and sprayed the house & outdoors. I paid him.

Dogs were in and out all day.

 

Wind started about Noon and I had brought all the seat cushions & pillows in from outside. 

I put away clean laundry. I put away clean dishes. 

I did bookwork at 4PM. Finally feeling better.

Dogs rushed to the front of the house several times thinking that Hubby had gotten home.

Hubby got home late at 6PM. 

He had dinner. 

We watched TV for a while. My Life is Murder. 

At 11:30PM, Hubby went back down to the shop to meet Chris and give him $ to buy a truck.

I went to bed at 11:30PM.

Dogs were barking when Hubby returned at 1AM and came to bed.

 Up at 7:30AM. We slept in late!!!

I got up and dressed. Hubby let the dogs out for potty. 

He made them breakast eggs and fed them.

We watched TV for a few minutes.

Loaded the donation items into the back of the Dually.

We left at 10AM so that we could get to St George at 1PM when Doggy Day Care opened.

We drove the back way. It is so much less stressful. No vehicles were backed up at Beaver Dam, tho.

We stopped in Beaver Dam where Hubby ran inside to get lottery tickets.

Then we continued to St George where we bought smoothies at Tropical Smoothie Cafe.

 

Walked dogs at the grassy area near the Museum/Convention Center. 

Drove to Costco where Hubby filled with Diesel. Did not have to wait very long in line. 

 

 

By now it was almost 1PM, so we drove the dogs to Dogtown to drop them off. However, while waiting in the parking lot for them to open, 2 other cars came and unloaded their dogs first. So we waited. Finally took the dogs inside. Tater barked SO MUCH.

 

We left there and drove to Red Lobster for Hubby's birthday dinner. We both ordered the pick your own Ultimate feast. I got some weird toilet bowl tasting blue drink which was AWFUL. (Blue Dream Sangria) Hubby got a margarita on the rocks. We had ordered too much and had to take most of it home in boxes.

 We went to C-A-L Ranch store to get a horse floor mat for Hubby at the shop, some honey, and a sprayer to spray the weeds in back of the house. Drove through their yard to pick up the mat. While some idiot tried to drive down the same way we were (big truck, duh) and the idiots would not move for us.

 

 

Drove to Wendy's to get burgers for the dogs.

 

 

 

Picked up the dogs at 3PM.

 

Hubby had to get a dozen Pinkbox donuts. He drove thru and ordered.

 

 

We drove home to Mesquite. I was exhausted by now. 

 

We made it home. Unloaded the dogs and I took a nap for the next 3 hours. 

 

Hubby watched Automotive shows. 

 

I got up at 9PM and went to bed.

Up at 6:30AM. 

Hubby went to the living room and let the dogs out for potty. Then he started making breakfast eggs for the dogs. He dropped a plate in the kitchen and had to clean it up.

I got dressed and came out to the kitchen to make latte for hubby.

I brought the dirty clothes out and put them in the washer. 

I cleaned up the cat litter so Hubby would not have to do it. I vacuumed.

Hubby watched Automotive shows.

I transferred $ from Quickbooks to Bank.

Hubby left for the shop at 8:30AM. Tater stayed home because the guys were going out to lunch today.

 

I went down to get my Semaglutide injection at NOON. Did not have to wait long.

 

I stopped at Danielle's chocolates to get chocolate coconut creams for Hubby's birthday. Got a card to give to him from the dogs.

 

I stopped to get the mail on the way home.

 

At home, I let the dogs outside and gave them treats.

Awake at 6:15AM. Hubby had already put the dogs out for potty and fed breakfast eggs to them. 

 

I got up and dressed.  Went to the kitchen to make lattes. 

I also made Nanogreens. 

Hubby cleaned cat litter. We made the bed.

I picked up dog poo in the yard. 

Hubby & Tater left for the shop at 8:30AM.

I watched TV.

 

Hubby & Tater got home early at 3:15PM. Hubby had taken a customer home and dropped him off.

 

We left the dogs at home and got groceries at Smith's. Then we stopped to get Mr. Mistys at Dairy Queen. 

Drove home. Unloaded groceries.

I went to bed at 9:30PM. Hubby was snoring on the sofa. He had eaten some bad guacamole we got at Smith's so his tummy was upset. 

Finally, Hubby woke up from the sofa at 11PM and took a shower. Washed Tater in the shower. They came to bed hours later.

Up at 6:30AM. Had taken marijuana gummy last night so slept late. Sage was crawling all over me - my kidneys. 

I got up and went potty. Got dressed.

Went to the kitchen to make lattes.

Hubby had already let dogs out for potty, cleaned up Wilson's poop butt, and fed them breakfast eggs. Wilson probably got bad runny butt because of Wendy's yesterday.

Sat with Hubby watching News on TV.

I transferred $ from Quickbooks to Bank.

I started washing machine with dirty clothes. Have to wash comforter again because dirty dogs got it messy again. 

I cleaned up kitchen and put dirty dishes in dishwasher. Started dishwasher.

Hubby helped me align rug in living room. Then we had to vacuum behind and under couches that the CLEANERS DID NOT CLEAN! I have to talk to them.

Hubby painted the flowers that I need to take for Cindy at IV Infusion.

Hubby & Tater left at 8:30AM.

Wilson and I went outside to pick up dog poo.

I sat and watched TV for a while. Made a latte for me.

I did bookwork.

I had to pick up Hubby at the shop because he had take the UTV to the shop with Tater this morning. I had to move the truck over to get the Jeep out.

Awake at 6AM when I heard Hubby in the kitchen making breakfast eggs for the dogs & feeding them. He let them out for potty.

 

I slept until 6:15AM when Sage came and woke me up. She crawled all over me and let me pet her.

 

I got up and went potty. Dressed. Went to the kitchen to make latte for Hubby.

 

Hubby watched Automotive shows.

Hubby ordered some parts on his iPad then called Rough Country to put in an order because their website is still down.

 

I transferred $ from Quickbooks to Bank.

Then I put Tater's collar on him. Hubby & Tater left at 8:40AM. 

I cleaned kitchen and put dishes in dishwasher.

I put dirty clothes in washer and started them. Put clean clothes away.

I did bookwork.

 

I put the comforter in the washer and washed it. Put it in the dryer. It took a long time to dry.

I picked up dog poo. Got all the garbage together. Spilled the garbage in the front bathroom, so had to vacuum it up. Vacuumed up the cat litter in the armoire. Took all of it out to the garbage. 

Cleaned up everything from the house and put it in the garage temporarily so the cleaners can clean. 

Cleaners got here at 12:30PM, so Wilson and I left. 

Drove to Wendys. Had to sit in line behind 12 cars!!!

Got our food, stopped to say HI to Ralph as he was driving his golf cart around the gas pumps. Wilson and I drove to the shop. Gave hamburgers & fries to the guys. 

I gave clean water to Tater. Wilson drank a lot of water. I took the dogs out to potty, but neither of them tried to potty.

Sat on the recliner chair and browsed my iPhone. Wilson and Tater sat on the sofa. Hubby came over to sit.

 

At 1:30PM, Wilson and I drove back home. 

 

Unloaded everything from the Jeep. Let Wilson out to potty. 

 

I brought everything back inside from the garage. Put it all back.

 

I was exhausted. Did not feel good. Collapsed on the sofa and slept until Wilson barked. Got up and checked everything at 4PM. Hubby was not home yet.  

Went back to sleep. Wilson was inside the house.Wilson barked again at 5PM. Hubby finally home for the night. Tater is filthy and needs a bath.

Hubby made Ramen noodles for dinner.

We sat on the sofa and watched TV.

I was hurting, so I took a marijuana gummy and took a hot bath.

Then Hubby gave Tater a bath in the shower at 10PM. I helped dry him off. Then I went to bed. Hubby came to bed at 11PM.

Up at 6AM. Went potty and dressed. 

In kitchen, I made latte for Hubby and Nanogreens for myself.

Hubby had been up since 5AM and already fed the dogs. He had let them outside for potty.

I picked up dog poo.

Then we sat down and watched morning News for a while.

Hubby got a couple phone calls from customers. Booked more jobs.

Hubby and Tater left for the shop at 8:30AM in the black Dually.

I did bookwork. 

I cleaned/vacuumed up cat litter and put more litter in the cat box.

I got up at 9AM. I got dressed and went to the kitchen to make lattes. 

Hubby had already let the dogs outside and made breakfast eggs for them. 

I washed my hair. 

I cleaned off the kitchen counters and put dishes in dishwasher. Put dirty laundry in washer. 

We changed sheets on the bed. Put dirty sheets in washer.

Hubby cleaned cat litter.

 

I put on stretchy pants and we went to get our pedicures at 11AM with Andy at GS Nails.

 

Then we drove to Cinnabon at the Eureka and got a Chocolatta for me, 4 Cinnabons for Hubby, and 2 pretzels to eat at home.

 

Met a guy at the shop who stopped to drop off his UTV with his wife Judy.

 

Took dogs for the park in the afternoon. It was hot. Tater tore around and played with a tall black dog. Then we had to leave because it was burning hot outside. 89 degrees F. Not used to such warm weather. 

Drove back home.

We watched TV.

4-22-2023 

 

 

 

 

 

Took us forever to fall asleep last night. I took a marijuana cookie and finally we went to bed at 1AM. Hubby had taken a gummy marijuana and melatonin.

 

I slept until 9AM. Sage got up on the bed beside me and I started  petting her and she purred up a storm.

Finally got up and dressed.

Went to the kitchen to make lattes. Put dirty dishes in dishwasher and started it.

 

Hubby was watching Automotive TV shows on TV. 

 

I went outside to pick up dog poo. I took dirty clothes to washer. 

 

I made an onion bagel for myself. We watched TV. 

At 10AM, we loaded the dogs into the truck and drove to Walmart Car Wash to wash truck. Then Hubby deposited a check from the shop at America First CU inside Walmart. It took him 30 minutes. I was in the sun the whole time, just burning.

Finally, we drove to The UPS Store to return parts to Super ATV. Hubby was pissed because it cost $167 to return them and it was Super ATVs fault that they sent the wrong parts.

Drove to the dog park. There was 1 little pitbull grey puppy named Bonsai that was there with a guy. SUCH A CUTE PUPPY. All grey except for white toes. 

Then a big black dog came. Tater ran everywhere. The little pitbull puppy played with Wilson.

We left because it was 79 degrees F and Tater was already too hot with running. 

Drove home and Hubby made brown rice with grilled chicken for the dogs. He made Jambalaya with the Wendys chili we got the other day.

We watched Strange Inheritance on TV.

Rode our bikes thru the new development. Found 4 golf balls for the cats to play with.

Got back home and gave treats to dogs. 

We watched TV. 

I ate a marijuana cookies. Hubby had melatonin with a gummy. Went to bed at 10PM.

Up at 6AM. 

 

I got dressed and went to the kitchen to make lattes. 

 

Hubby made breakfast eggs for the dogs. 

 

Hubby cleaned cat litter. I vacuumed out the armoire. 

 

Hubby left for the shop at 8:30AM. Tater stayed home. He had gotten a bath last night and is clean.

 

I did bookwork.

 

At 2:20PM, I left to take packing tape down to the shop for Hubby.

Then I went over to get my nails done at GS Nails. I took along the iPhone 11 for Andy to give to his son when he visits Vietnam in May.

 

Then I came back home. Stopped at Dairy Queen to get Blizzards. 

 

At home, I gave treats to the dogs and let them out.

 

Hubby got home late at 6PM.

 

We watched TV and went to bed at 10PM.

I got up at 4AM to potty and sleep on the sofa. Hubby threw a red blanket over me when he got up with the dogs. Hubby made breakfast eggs for dogs & fed them.

Up at 6:20AM. 

I got dressed. Helped make the bed. Played with Sage red light on the bed.

I made latte for Hubby. I drank water. Tummy feels bad.

 

I transferred $ from Quickbooks to Bank. I started doing bookwork.

 

Then I put dirty laundry in washer. Cleaned up kitchen and put dirty dishes in dishwasher.

 

I brought the garbage can inside from the street. 

 

I cleaned up the cat litter, put the bag in the garbage can.  I vacuumed up all the cat litter in the armoire.

 

Tater and Hubby left for the shop early. He had to go get the charger for the Jeep because IT DIED AGAIN!

 

Hubby and Tater came back with the charger. Hubby put the charger on the Jeep.

They left again.

I did bookwork. Wilson went outside to nap. I picked up dog poo.

I took all the garbage out from the bathrooms, kitchen, and office.

I did more bookwork. I took things out to the garage for the cleaners.

The cleaners were supposed to be here by 1:30PM, they did not show. 

Hubby called at 3PM and said he was coming home. He reminded me to order more tire gauges.

MONDAY / SICK / SLEPT ALL DAY

Up at 6AM. Hubby was making breakfast eggs for dogs in kitchen.

I got dressed and went to the kitchen to make lattes. 

Hubby cleaned cat litter. 

Hubby answered several phone calls. He made calls to vendors. 

Hubby & Tater left at 8:30AM for the shop.

I watched TV. Did not feel very good. 

I took a nap from Noon to 2PM. 

At 2PM, I got up and watched TV. I felt awful. Pain everywhere. Exhausted.

Hubby got home at 5PM after picking up milk at Smith's.

We watched TV for a while.

Hubby fell asleep on the sofa.

Really bad poo at night. Tummy really hurts. 

Took a shower and washed my hair. 

Went to bed at 9PM.
