DECEMBER 30 2023

 

 

 

I slept late until 7AM. Wilson was still in bed with me and I petted his belly. I kissed his soft nose.

We got up and I got dressed.

I went out to the kitchen to make eggnog latte for Hubby, tea/Nanogreens for myself.

Hubby made breakfast for the dogs & fed them. He warmed up turkey bacon in the air-fryer for me.

I cleaned up the kitchen and started the dishwasher.

Hubby watched Automotive shows for a while.

 

I did bookwork.

We made the bed. Then we washed the new comforter. 

I walked down to the mailbox to get the mail and see if the mailman had finally taken his Xmas gift. I gave him $ and some peppermint sticks.

I started taking down more Xmas stuff. Hubby brought in the boxes. I loaded all the boxes. I took down ornaments on the Xmas tree. 

We opened the front door.

We took Tater for a dog run with the Golf Cart. Wilson rode in the golf cart. I rode the motorcycle. It is a warm, wonderful, sun shiny day.

Hubby made chicken on the grille for the dogs.

We watched TV. 

At 6PM, we left the dogs at home and went to Walmart for groceries. Hubby was going to get a Birthday cupcake for me, but he forgot.

We stopped at TSC first to get dog food. 

Drove home, put away groceries. Hubby realized he forgot the cupcake.

We watched TV.

Went to bed at 11PM.

FRIDAY / DEC 29 / TATER STAYS HOME / GS NAILS

FRIDAY

DECEMBER 29 2023

 

 

 

 

 

 

Up at 5:30AM. I was hot & sweaty.

Went potty. Got dressed. 

Went to the living room to sit until 6AM. 

Hubby was already up and let the dogs out for potty.

Hubby started making the dog breakfast at 6AM. I went to the kitchen to make eggnog latte for Hubby, tea/Nanogreens for me. 

Hubby cleaned cat litter. 

I helped make the bed. 

Hubby took a shower with Tater. I dried Tater off. 

Hubby took the dirty clothes to the washer. 

We sat and watched TV for a while.

Hubby left at 8:30AM. Tater stayed home. 

 

I rode with hubby in the FMF to the mailbox to mail the end of year Business License to City of Mesquite. I got the mail.

 

When I got home, I had forgotten to mail the Business License, so I walked down again.

 

At home, I put away more Xmas decor from the front of the house. 

 

I gave Sage some wet dog food. I vacuumed up the cat litter. 

 

I had to wipe the shower glass down as Hubby had left it stained with water spots. 

 

I went outside to pick up dog poo.

 

I did bookwork.

 

At 10:30AM, the mailman brought the Amazon box for the Bat cave. I told him to pick up his Xmas gift that we left in the postal box. 

 

I watched TV for a while.

 

At NOON, I fed the dogs, cleaned up after the dogs. Let the dogs outside for potty.

 

I washed my hair at 1PM. I dried my hair. 

 

I put away clean clothes and cleaned out the dryer lint. 

 

At 1PM, Patrick-Mark's buddy came over and brought checks so that we can pay Mark's rent & bill at the shop.

 

I put away clean dishes. 

 

Hubby was home by 2:30PM. He let Marcel go home at 2PM. 

 

Hubby took me to GS Nails for my appointment. Andy put on a full set. Hubby brought in my tea to drink. Hubby fell asleep on the sofa. 

 

At 3PM we left. Drove to Smith's, but there were too many people there. I wanted to get more lobsters.  We drove home instead.

 

At home, Hubby made me the leftover scallops. Then he warmed up ribs that he bought the other day.

 

We watched Reacher on Amazon. Then we watched the rest of the season of The Artful Dodger. 

 

I went to bed at 11PM. Hubby came to bed later.

THURSDAY / DEC 28 / SLEEPLESS NIGHT

DECEMBER 28 2023

 

 

 

 

 

Woke up at exactly 6AM. Sage was still curled up in my arm. I petted her for a long time. She was purring.

I got dressed & went to the kitchen to make eggnog latte for Hubby, tea/Nanogreens for myself.

Then I had to do bookwork. Went thru all the emails; over 53 emails today!

I sat down for a while with Hubby. He was watching some odd old movie.

Dressed Tater in his red sweatshirt and he went with Hubby to the shop in the FMF. They left at 8:30AM. 

I did bookwork. 

I put sofa pillows in the wash. 

I started gathering up all the winter/Xmas decor. I am already sick of seeing it in the house.

 

WEDNESDAY / DEC 27 / IV INFUSIONS / RESTLESS NIGHT

WEDNESDAY

DECEMBER 27 2023 

Up at 6AM. 

I dressed, made the bed, and went to the kitchen to make an eggnog latte for Hubby, tea/Nanogreens for myself.

Hubby was already in the kitchen making breakfast eggs for the dogs. He had already let them outside for potty.

Hubby cleaned up cat litter. 

We left the dogs at home and drove to St George in the FMF to take an axle to Fleet Pride to repair. Hubby dropped it off at 8AM; we had to wait a few minutes as we were early. Then we drove back. Hubby did not want to stop for best latte in St George because his tummy was upset.

Then we got back to Mesquite and the dogs were happy to see us. Hubby made some breakfast for himself. He sat and watched Automotive shows on TV and then at 8:30AM, he & Tater left for the shop. Tater wore his blue sweatshirt.

I did not feel like doing bookwork today. 

I sat on the sofa and watched Law & Order. 

I cleaned up dog poop outside. The dogs had runny potty and I had to pour hot water on it. I had accidentally stepped in it and tracked it on the patio, so I had to clean that up, too. Then Wilson was walking around with poop on his ass and I had to drag him over to the faucet to clean it up. I towel dried him off. 

Then I was exhausted.

I took a nap around 11AM. I gave Wilson is lunch with poop powder in it. WHY is he having such bad diarrhea?

I got ready for IV Infusions. At 2:30PM, I called Hubby, but he was late anyway. 

I made a turkey sandwich with cheese & lettuce. 

We left at exactly 2:59 and got there at 3:03PM.

Got our IV infusions. Somebody was complaining again. Had to bring up Trans-sexhuals in her rant. WTF is wrong with these so called Christians? Why are they intolerant to everybody? Isn't life difficult enough without having to put down others? 

After we were done & paid, we went to Walmart to pick up some turkey. NO MORE EGGNOG FOR HUBBY! Last year it started before Halloween and went early into January. Hubby is upset.

We stopped at the UPS Store and Hubby mailed his return boxes.

We drove home and unpacked groceries. I was exhausted. 

It was only 5PM. 

I could barely keep my eyes open at 6AM and had Hubby make the bed so I could go to sleep.

I went to bed. 

Restless, Hot, Sweaty. Tater & Sage slept with me. Hubby finally came to bed at 11PM. 

I got up several times to potty out the IV Infusion. I cannot get that anymore. It is killing me.

He was restless and snoring. I went to sleep on the sofa. 

At 2AM, Wilson woke me up with crying at the sliding glass door. I got up to let him out for potty. 

Then I went back to bed as I was freezing. 

Hubby got up to potty and Wilson was crying to get UP on the bed, but Hubby thought he wanted outside again. We all went back to sleep.

Up at 6:30AM. I heard Hubby in the kitchen making breakfast food for the dogs. I got up and went to get dressed when I saw that he had drawn shutters in the bathroom windows to signify the Xmas gift that he was getting for me! It made me LOL.

I dressed & made the bed. 

 

When I came out from the bedroom, there was a beautiful sunrise.

 

 

SUNRISE XMAS DAY

 

Then I went to the kitchen to make eggnog latte for him, but I was out of coffee pods and while trying to get a new box in the pantry, I knocked down a glass jar of honey that I had to clean up. It was very difficult, I had to use a spatula as a scoop because it was so sticky and had so much glass in the closet. 

I finally got around to making an eggnog latte for Hubby, tea/Nanogreens for me.

We sat down and Hubby unwrapped his gifts. New Socks, New Moose Boxers, New Camper Blanket, New Tater Camper Blanket.

Hubby had put in the cinnamon rolls in the Xmas tree pan but he burnt them and had to make more. He put the new ones in for 1/2 the time and let them sit to cool before he put icing on them.

We watched A Christmas Story. We watched National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.

 

I picked up dog poo outside. 

 

Sage cat screamed MIAOWING at us for a full hour. I did not know what was wrong.  

KRL and Spencer called us at 9:21AM when I had explosive diarrhea. I went to the bedroom and found that Sage cat had pooped on Wilson's dog bed. I took it out and washed it off outside. Then I brought it inside and put it in the dryer. I also cleaned out a MASSIVE amount of cat poop & pee in the litter. I had also forgotten the vacuum in front of the door, so Sage had probably been scared to go potty this morning in the armoire.

After we were done talking with the kids, I vacuumed up the cat litter. 

Hubby grilled chicken for the dog on the grille outside.

 

Hubby made Scallops in the oven for me. He prepared the lobster & crab. 

I took a nap because I hit a wall at 2PM. Tried to stay awake, but slept on the sofa for a while. I woke up to the end of It's A Wonderful Life.

We just started watching Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer at 3:30PM when I decided we need to go get lottery tickets. 

 

Just before we left the house, Hubby drilled the screws into the back of the Xmas tree. He will finish when we get home

.

We left the dogs at home and drove to Beaver Dam. The store was still open, so Hubby went to get tickets. I sat in the FMF. 

DRIVING TO BEAVER DAM FOR LOTTERY TICKETS ON XMAS DAY

Some police truck with LOTS of blue/red lights went speeding past us just as we got to the Interstate. 

Drove back on the Interstate to Mesquite. Saw lights coming down from Lime Kiln. UTVs.

Looked at Xmas lights in town. Then we drove home.

At home, I gave the dogs some chicken. 

Hubby finished the Xmas tree and then we put it outside by the front door.

SUNDAY / DEC 24/ XMAS EVE / WALMART / SMITHS/ DELIVER GIFTS / DOG RUN / WALMART

I was up at 7:30AM. Slept late!!! Wilson & Sage walked on my kidneys and I had to go potty.

I got dressed. Hubby stayed in bed with the dogs. 

I went to the kitchen to make eggnog latte for hubby (which I spilled while making and had to clean it up, then start over) and tea/Nanogreens for myself.

I cleaned cat litter, turned on all the lights, opened the mini blinds and took down to black out shades in the bathroom. 

I put dirty laundry in washer. I put away clean dishes. 

I made breakfast for the puppies. Then Hubby came out to make eggs for Tater. I made french toast for hubby. He used the new Maple Syrup from Vermon that Dean had given him as a Xmas gift. He had a couple bites and got sweaty & feverish. 

Hubby sat down to watch Automotive shows on TV. 

I started the laundry in the washer. I cleaned up the kitchen. I made the bed. 

I wanted Hubby to get going so we could get to Smith's before too many people were there shopping. We wanted to get crab legs & lobsters from the Seafood section.

We left the dog at home and drove to Smith's. It was already crowded. The Seafood section was CLOSED!

We got some milk for Hubby and left there. 

Drove to Walmart to get frozen crab legs & lobsters. Hubby picked out a card for me. I got some flowers as we entered the store. 

I had to carry the lobster & crab leg back to Hubby in the card section because we had not gotten a cart. 

We purchased and left. 

Drove to the Shop to cut up another Xmas tree 2x4s. We got done there in about 30 minutes. Cut fast. I tried out the new steps at the store.

We drove to drop off a Shadowbox to Kathy & Irl. 

Then we drove home. Unloaded groceries. I put out my Xmas flowers.

We sat down to watch a movie Maggie Moore(s) with Tina Fey & Jon Hamm. It was pretty good. Robert sat on Hubby's lap.

Dawn from next door brought over veggie cookies, some chocolate candy in a foil box. She and a girlfriend from Canada had been "baking all day".

Oscar & his girlfriend stopped over to drop off some wine & a Xmas card. We gave them our gifts to pass on for Reuben Jr. & Jose. Oscar gave us a bottle of wine and a card.

We decided to try and see if Walmart had scallops. They had them at the store. So we decided to drive there and get them.

Just as we were leaving, Dave & Carmen dropped off peanut brittle in a cute little Xmas tin.

We drove to Walmart, but they were out of Scallops. Hubby got coleslaw, I got honey, we got apples, lemon, croissants and stuffed crabs.

Up at 6AM. Hubby was already up and had put the dogs outside for potty.

I put away clean dishes. 

I cleaned up kitchen and put dishes in dishwasher. 

Hubby took clothes to washer & started it. I put clothes from last night into the dryer.

 

Hubby sat on the sofa to eat his burrito and watch Automotive shows.

 

We listened to Xmas music. 

 

I had snapped off one of my nails last night, but glued it back on. So I called Andy to get an appointment. He said he could fit me in at 3:30PM.

 

Hubby put together my Xmas tree. 

 

 

Rattler was hanging out with Hubby as he was painting the triangle Xmas trees. Then Hubby nailed on the metal stars.

Went to Todd's shop so Hubby could drop off a Shadowbox Xmas gift. I saw lots of birds eating birdseed that Todd puts out.

Drove out to Scenic to get Lottery tickets. Stopped to get my nail fixed as Andy called early. We had bought lottery scratch offs for Andy and his Mom.

Then we drove to Reuben's in Scenic to drop off his gift. He had butchered a goat and had it hanging.

We drove home as I was having hit a wall and did not feel well.

At home, I made more tea and collapsed.

Took a nap on the sofa. Woke up an hour later, just exhausted.

Sat and watched some TV.

Took a bath and went to bed early.

Up at 5AM. I went potty, then took a pillow from the bed and slept on the sofa for a while. Except, I did not sleep. Had horrible thoughts racing thru my head until 6AM when Hubby got up to potty, let the dogs out for potty. He made breakfast for the dogs.

I got up and dressed. Made the bed. 

DARK FRIDAY

I went to the kitchen to make eggnog latte for Hubby, tea/Nanogreens for myself.

 

Hubby sat on the sofa and ate his burrito which he said was horrible. He watched Automotive shows for a while. 

 

I cleaned out the cat litter. Put dirty clothes in washer. Started washer. Put clothes in dryer. 

 

I cleaned kitchen and put dishes in dishwasher.

 

We argued about stupid employee doing a burnout at the shop, how employee decided to take off the week after Xmas without permission.

 

Hubby left for the shop at 8:30AM. 

It rained. 

 

I put away clean clothes. I put away clean dishes. 

 

I did bookwork.

I watched TV. Law & Order re-runs.

At NOON, I fed the dogs. 

Went to pick up dog poo outside at 1PM and it started raining a lot.

UPS delivered a box, but did not ring the doorbell. Could not give them Xmas gifts of candy.

Hubby got home at 3PM. 

 

TATER COMING HOME

 

He had to go pick up a vehicle at Tire Store, so we took the FMF and then he drove the vehicle to the shop while I followed with the FMF. 

We stopped at Walmart because I wanted to get underwear for the Massage, but Walmart had no single panties. We went back home afterwards. Hubby changed his clothes. 

We drove to the Casablanca and had the Valet park our car. We walked around and finally found the Spa outside and down the stairs. Had to ask several people for directions.

Got changed into robes. Waited in the room. Water, oranges, apples, bananas were available and they said we could sit in the hot tub tomorrow.

We got massaged in an outside cabana. Nice massages. Warm tables, warm neck rolls. It was wonderful. We decided to do this every month.

After we were done, we wanted to take showers, but a lady told me the showers were ice cold. So no shower. I got dressed in the bathroom. Hubby had lost his keys until I remembered that the Valet had the keys! 

 

Left my phone there, but did not realize it until we were outside waiting for our car from the Valet. 

I walked to Security because nobody was answering from the Spa. A security guard walked me down. He said he had applied to be a cop in Vegas. Had a wife and 3 month old son. 

Got my phone and I walked back to the Valet. Hubby was hungry and shaky so we walked back to get dinner at the Cafe. 

Sat in the very back in a booth. I had turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes, gravy, veggies. Hubby had pot roast. We had leftovers which we boxed up for the dogs.

Drove home. It was freezing outside. Still raining.

At home, gave the dogs treats.

We were both very tired.

Watched some TV and we both took a hot shower before bed. Did not want to sleep with massage oil on our bodies.

THURSDAY / DEC 21 / XMAS GIFTS

Up at 5:45AM. Tater was pushing on my hip and crowding me out of the bed. Sage was heavy and hot, sleeping on my right shoulder. 

Wilson waddled up to the top of the bed to get petted.

I got up and went potty. Then I remembered the song that we were talking about last night before sleep. No Where Man by the Beatles. I went out to tell Hubby as he was sitting on the sofa. 

Hubby let the dogs out. I got dressed.

I went to the kitchen to make eggnog latte for Hubby, tea/Nanogreens for myself.

Hubby warmed up turkey bacon for me.I was really not hungry (after upping my dosage for Mounjaro). 

Hubby & Tater left at 8:30AM. Hubby loaded Tater into the FMF wearing his blue sweatshirt.

I did bookwork. 

I started laundry in the dryer. I started dishes in the dishwasher after cleaning the kitchen.

I watched TV for a while. 

I went outside with Wilson to pick up dog poo.

Dana, our neighbor, came yelling at the front door about 12:30PM. He wanted to know if we were home. 

UPS came by at 1:15PM and I gave them the chocolate candy in a candy cane plastic shape. They laughed.

I did more bookwork.

 

Shauna came over at 2PM and we talked about front for about 30 minutes. She brought chocolate/walnut fudge in a Xmas tin, some sprays, a candle.

We watched a show called A Murder At The End Of The World.

Awake at 3:50AM when I heard 3 cars race down the road towards the new construction. Hubby was sitting on the sofa and had aleady put the dogs out for potty. He came back to bed.

Hubby was in bed with me when I woke at 6:30AM. I got dressed and went to the kitchen. Made Hubby an eggnog latte. Made tea/Nanogreens for myself.

Hubby fed the dogs. I put out cheese & milk for cats. 

Hubby watched Automotive shows on TV. 

I did bookwork. Transferred $ from Quickbooks to Bank

 

Hubby cleaned cat litter. He took a shower. 

 

Hubby & Tater left at 8:30AM for the shop.

 

I did bookwork. I started dishes in dishwasher. I put laundry in dryer and started it.

 

I saw smoke in the valley. Looked like Scenic.

Wilson and I took a walk to the dog park and picked up the mail at 2:30PM.

I called Hubby before we left on our walk and told him to come home for IV Infusions.

Tater & Hubby finally got home at 2:55PM. Hubby made a sandwich

 

TATER COMING HOME IN THE FMF

 

 

We drove to Enliven at 3PM. Hubby got his IV infusions, I got my shot. 

We drove to Smith's to get groceries. Hubby wanted to get hamburger for some beans he brought home from Eric. We drove to Walgreens first, but there was 5 cars in line.

We shopped at Smith's, Hubby got 4 cases of Beer for Eric, Dean, and Reuben. Ran into Amy who said that Jay was home sick with Covid.

We stopped at Walgreens again afterwards and there were only 3 cars in line. We got served before 5PM! Hubby got his antibiotics for his face. 

We drove home. I was exhausted. 

Hubby unloaded groceries from the FMF, we gave the dogs some treats. I put away groceries. Hubby grilled up his hamburger for his beans. 

We watched TV. Some unusual Irish show called Obituary. It was pretty good. Black humor.

Hubby fell asleep on the sofa. I took Melatonin and almost fell asleep. We got up for bed at 9PM. I had to clean up the kitchen because Hubby had made a mess cooking on the stove. I put dirty dishes in dishwasher, cleaned the countertop, & stovetop.

Went to bed and could not figure out a song from the Beatles. Hubby listened to Beatles music on Google Home.

TUESDAY / DEC 19 / CLEANERS /

Up at 5:30AM. Hubby was sitting on the sofa and had aleady put the dogs out for potty.

I got dressed and went to the kitchen. Made Hubby an eggnog latte. Made tea/Nanogreens for myself.

Hubby fed the dogs. I put out cheese & milk for cats. 

Hubby watched Automotive shows on TV. 

I did bookwork. Transferred $ from Quickbooks to Bank

I put away things for the cleaners.

Faye & Janet stopped by. Faye rang the doorbell as I was expecting the cleaners. I went outside to talk with them as Janet had stayed in the car. They thanked me for the Shadowboxes and brought candy in a bag for Xmas gift. I talked to them until the cleaners got here.

Cleaners got here at NOON. I gave cleaners a $100 bonus for Xmas and a Shadowbox.

Wilson and I went outside to sit until Cleaners were done.

After they were gone, I was exhausted. I put everything back. 

I watched TV for the rest of the day.

Hubby & Tater got home at 4PM.

Hubby watched TV after making dinner for himself.

We went to bed at 9PM.

 I was up at 5:15AM when the dogs jumped off the bed. Hubby let them out for potty. I went potty and back to bed. Wilson was still in bed with me and

 

On Saturday, we had gotten the delivery of  Tater's dog bed heating pad. We had been using it Saturday & Sunday. So Hubby packed it up in the FMF and took it with him to the shop.

 

Hubby cleaned cat litter. 

 

I cleaned up the kitchen and put dirty dishes in dishwasher. 

 

Hubby started washing clothes and then I put them in dryer. Hubby made the bed. 

Tater & Hubby left at 8:30AM. They took the FMF to the shop. A detailer is supposed to be there today to clean it.

I vacuumed the armoire and the hallway. Lots of cat litter everywhere. 

I picked up dog poo outside. 

I put away clean clothes. I put away clean dishes. I loaded the dishwasher again and washed another load.

I watched TV for a while. Then I did bookwork. Zurich Insurance finally paid for a customer, but shorted us $900. I processed that. 

I did bookwork. Hubby said that the customer's visa was charged in addition to charing the Zurich visa. So I had to fix that. 

I watched TV.

Tried to take a nap at 2PM, then the Detailer came to clean the Jeep. I had to put the Jeep in the street for him to clean.

Hubby got home at 3:30PM. He had stopped at Mesquite Business Center to mail the Shadowboxes to friends/customers. The cleaner was done so Hubby backed the Jeep into the garage.

Tater came inside. I took off his collar & Sweatshirt. 

Hubby said Tater was warm at the shop today with his heating pad. 

Hubby made dinner.

We watched TV. Hubby fell asleep on the sofa.

We went to bed at 9PM.

SUNDAY / DEC 17 / COLD & CLOUDY / PEDICURES

 SUNDAY

12-17-2023 

Up at 6AM after a restless night. Hubby had already gotten out of bed earlier and let the dogs outside for potty. I stayed in bed until 6:30AM and petted Sage. She let me rub her everywhere, but no purring! I finally got up and got dressed. 

Went to the kitchen to make eggnog latte for Hubby and tea/Nanogreens for myself. Hubby fed the dogs and let them outside again. Then he warmed up turkey bacon in the air-fryer for me.

I helped make the bed. Hubby got dressed. We sat on the sofa until 9AM to eat breakfast. 

Then I put laundry in the washer/ Then put it in the dryer. Hubby put clean clothes away.

I cleaned the kitchen counter and put dirty dishes in dishwasher. Started dishwasher. It was very packed, so we did a normal wash.

Hubby cleaned out the cat litter. I picked up dog poo outside. The neighbor's pool cleaner put a FUCKING BUCKET on the outlet valve to prevent it from leaking. OMG. Such fucking white trash. 

I did bookwork.

I walked down to get the mail. One Etsy t-shirt that is too small. One Xmas tree shirt that fits great. More shadowboxes from Amazon. 2 Santa, sleigh & reindeer.

I painted the 4 Shadowboxes.

 

Cats were treated to shrimp. ShrimpFest.

 

SHRIMP FEST 2023

 

At 11AM, we took Tater on a dog golf cart run. Wilson sat in the golf cart. I rode the motorcycle. 

Some idiots walking could not control their LITTLE dog and Hubby almost ran over it, also almost ran over Tater because he got under the front tire. 

Got back home. Hubby grilled steak. I made a peanut butter sandwich. Hubby fed the dogs lunch.

We watched TV until 2PM when I took a nap on the sofa. I got up at 3PM and changed clothes. 

Then we drove to Lee's Liquor where Hubby picked up apple cider and I found some small liqueur bottles for Andy's Xmas present. I also gave him the green & red m&m's in a glass jar. 

We drove to GS Nails and got pedicures done. I did red toe nail with small green toenails.

 

Hubby drove the FMF on I-15 to get lottery tickets at Beaver Dam. As we drove thru Mesquite, we noticed that NOBODY was at the restaurants at 5:30PM at night on a Sunday. It was weird. People leave town for Xmas?

In Beaver Dam, Hubby stopped to talk with the clerk and she said it was oddly dead with no customers. 

We drove down the new road and looked at the new Travel Plaza they built, another KFC, another Taco Bell, and a Sbarro. 

 

Drove back home. We had been gone 2.5 hours from the dogs. 

 

We watched a new TV Series, Artful Dodger. It was pretty good.

At home, Hubby fell asleep on the sofa.
