SUNDAY

2-28-2021

 

 Up at 7AM. I was awoken even before that. Hubby bangs his spatula on the side of the pan every morning and it wakes me up.

 

He fed the cats. 

 

Then he made breakfast eggs for the dogs and fed them.

 

I got dressed and made lattes & Nanogreens. 

 

I warmed up breakfast baked eggs for myself.

 

We watched the morning news on TV.

 

I picked up dog poo and gave fresh water to the birds in the bird bath.

 

Watched a stupid Monkees movie on TV. 

 

We changed the sheets on the bed, Hubby started the Roomba. 

I worked on my St Patrick's day Garland. 

I did bookwork. Got payments for rent. 

Hubby started laundry. I cleaned up breakfast dishes and put them in the dishwasher.

Hubby went outside and cleaned the floor mats. Hubby started the laundry.

2-27-2021 

 

 

Up at 7:30AM. 

I made lattes & Nanogreens.

Hubby was already up and had made egg breakfast for dogs & fed them. 

He had fed the kitties tuna, too. 

I made the bed. 

I started laundry.

Hubby was watching Automotive show.

We ate breakfast. Tater barked at somebody walking past with dogs. We had to bring him in and put him in the kennel.

I cleaned up breakfast dishes and started dishwasher.

Hubby put work clothes on to go down to the shop. He took Tater with him and they left at 9AM. 

I did laundry. I cut material for my St Patrick's Day Garland; had to quit when I got blisters on my fingers. 

 

Wilson took a nap on the sofa in an odd position.

Hubby and Tater got home at 5:30PM. Hubby washed up and changed into pajamas. 

I went down to get mail.

It got cold quickly. We turned on the heat & fireplace.

I massaged Hubby at 7PM because his back hurt.

Up at 7:30AM. 

 

I quickly made lattes. 

 

Hubby left at 8AM to go work on friend's UTVs.

 

I washed comforter & Tater's blanket. 

 

I did bookwork. I made a green and white bead thread for St Patrick's Day Decor.

I cut fabric to do St Patrick's Day color garland.

Dogs were outside and enjoyed the fresh air and sunshine.

I paid Water bill for Nevada property.

Hubby stayed at the shop to eat dinner with the guys. Eric made beans with Hubby's ham that he took with him. 

Hubby got home at 6PM. 

We watched TV. 

I took a couple Melatonin, took a bath, and went to bed at 10PM. Hubby came to bed at 11PM.

THURSDAY

2-25-2021

 

 

 Up at 7:30AM. I did not sleep well last night.

Hubby was up wtih Wilson for 4 hours as he was coughing/choking and Hubby put him outside. Wilson chewed on a plant outside and finally quit coughing. We have no grass for him to eat.

I made lattes & Nanogreens. Hubby made breakfast eggs for dogs & fed them.

I felt so tired. Can barely move. 

Hubb cleaned up cat litter.

The wind was still blowing ferociously and I went outside to pick up dog poo and put water in bird bath. It was very chilly outside.

Hubby left at 9:30AM. He had to work at the shop today.

 

UPS brought my jeans I ordered and a part for Hubby.

Bulldog Pest Control came at 2PM and sprayed outside. I gave him a check. Told him we don't want services anymore.

Let the dogs out and they barked at a guy walking past with a couple dogs.

It was cool most of today, so I kept the doors shut.

Rattler hung out on the new sofa. No tears so far!

 

Hubby got back at 5PM. 

 

Puppies were happy to see him. Hubby made dinner.

 

We watched TV until bedtime.

 

 

WEDNESDAY / VEGAS / PICK UP NEW SOFAS

WEDNESDAY

2-24-2021 

 

Up at 7:30AM. 

Hubby made dog breakfast eggs and fed dogs. 

I got up and made lattes. 

I made the bed. 

 

Hubby loaded the dogs into the truck at 9AM. We drove to Las Vegas.

 

Stopped at a nice park to walk the dogs. Aliante Nature Discovery Park. It had fountains and water with turtles, Geese, and ducks everywhere. Kids were playing. People were walking thru the park. Tater got into the water.

There was a Tater look-alike, but the guy said his dog doesn't like other dogs so we did not approach that dog.

 

We left after walking around for 20 minutes.

 

Drove the circular drive to turn around in the park. Drove on the 215 to go pick up our sofas at BIG'S FURNITURE.

 

We had to wait for another couple that was tying down something on their truck. Then we pulled up and they loaded the sofas. 

 

Hubby tied down the sofas with ratchet straps and I helped.

 

We left there and drove to Michael's. They did not have a lot. No crochet thread at all which is what I wanted. 

 

I walked out to meet Hubby and the dogs in the parking lot and we drove over to In-N-Out Burger to find out what the big draw was about their restaurant. We were anxious to find out if they were really good. THEY ARE NOT. Not good burgers at all. Horrible. No taste, Bland buns, french fries are small and tasteless. We are NEVER eating there again.

 

 

Drove home. Tater and Wilson both napped the whole way.

At home, the dogs ran out to potty. I had to potty. 

 

Hubby unloaded stuff from truck. He called Jose to see if they could come over and unload sofas. 

 

Jose and his guys were over in 20 minutes to unload. Hubby tried to pay him, but he refused. That Jose!

 

I took a nap, but could not fall asleep. Sat on the new sofas watching Law & Order: Criminal Intent.

 

I took Melatonin. Went to bed at 9PM.

TUESDAY / GARBAGE / HUBBY & TATER UTV TRIP

 I made a lunch for Tater. Chicken and string cheese. Hubby took apples and burritos for himself. 

We put on Tater's Doggles, Snood, and 2 Sweaters so that he would be warm.

Tater & Hubby went on an UTV trip with Irl, Kathy, Molly (dog) and Dave, Carmen, (Petey).

I stayed home with Wilson.

Hubby and Tater got back at 3PM. 

Hubby went to wash the UTV.

When he got back, he and Tater had a shower. I dried Tater.

We watched Law & Order: Criminal Intent.

I took Benadryl and Melatonin. Went to bed at 9PM. Couldn't sleep until 11PM.

MONDAY / SUNSHINE / VEGAS / NEW FURNITURE / IKEA / HOT DIGGITY DOG

I definitely did not get much sleep last night. Melatonin did not help me sleep. Thoughts of bad things kept me from sleeping. WHY does our brain do that?

 

Wilson wanted to get on the bed at Midnight. I put him on the bed then had to go take a hot bath because of CRAMPS!

 

After my hot bath, I went to sleep on the sofa. I laid awake there until 2AM. Finally back to bed when I was freezing at 3AM. 

 

Put the heating pad on the bed. Tater barked at me when I came into the room. I laid awake for another hour before falling asleep finally.

 

Up at 7:30AM. Hubby was already up.

 

I made lattes & Nanogreens. Warmed up breakfast eggs for myself. Hubby made eggs for the dogs and fed them. We sat watching the morning news. 

Then Hubby took a shower and got dressed. He helped me make the bed.

I started the Roomba.

 

At 10AM, we sat on the patio with the dogs on their beds in the sun. Wilson barked at a couple walking past with a dog.

 

I ordered paint chips for Hubby from Prismatic Powders.

I ordered bug spray.

We decided to go into Vegas to get new plates at Ikea and look at motor homes.

Hubby cut Wilson's toenails.

 

Drove to Las Vegas. Dropped dogs off at new place for Hot Diggity Dog Daycare. Much larger building. 

 

 

 

We drove to BIG's Furniture. Bought Sofa, Loveseat, and Chair. Chair was not in stock. We will pick up sofas.

We stopped to eat at Sin Fronteras. I had street tacos. Hubby had his usual burrito.

Drove to IKEA. They had no plates. We walked the store 2 times to find some that were on display. Finally checked out with a blue vase and a stuffed moose for Victoria, Eric's daughter. 

 

The checkout would not let us purchase display plates. Asshole fuckers. I will NEVER SHOP AT IKEA AGAIN. I will buy dinnerware from Target. Fuck them.

 

Stopped at Wendy's to pick up burgers, chicken tenders, and french fries for dogs.

 

 

 

Stopped at Hot Diggity Dog Daycare to pick up dogs. They were tired! Had to give them water right away. Gave them Wendy's burgers. Then more water. 

 

 

We drove home. Dogs napped in the truck all the way.

 

At home, we let them outside to potty and play some more. Then they napped on the sofa all night!

 

Watched TV and went to bed at 9PM.

 

 

SUNDAY / SLEEP LATE / KURANDA DOG BED

2-21-2021 

 

 

Up at 7:45AM. I slept late, but Hubby was up already. Tater had been pushing on my chest and made my left arm numb. I had to call Hubby got get Tater off of me!

Then I got dressed and went out to make lattes & Nanogreens. 

Hubby was making dog breakfast eggs. He made scrambled an omelette for himself.

We sat on the sofa and watched SNL from last night. 

Then Hubby got dressed and cleaned cat litter. I put the Air Purifier into the Pantry closet because it stank of food odors.

I picked up dog poo. I put warm water in the bird bath.

Hubby put together Tater's Kuranda Dog bed. Tater sniffed it and was wagging his tail as Hubby put it together.

Took the dogs to the Dog Park at 2:30PM to get them tired.

Up at 7AM. Hubby was snoring all night. I finally slept after taking melatonin.  

I made the bed. 

Hubby went out to the kitchen to make breakfast egg bake for the dogs. Hubby fed the dogs.

I made lattes & Nanogreens.

We sat on the sofa to watch morning news.

Hubby cleaned out the cat litter.

I picked up dog poo.

We watched morning news on TV.

Then Hubby did the cat litter and dumped the vacuum. 

 

Hubby wanted the Badger, Mushroom, Snake meme downloaded on his phone for a ring-tone, so I figured out how to do it quickly on Garage Band App. Hubby was thrilled I did that for him.

Hubby left at 9AM to meet Oscar to finish fixing his UTV at the shop.

I watched Quantum Leap, dogs barked outside. I was using the computer to look up things.

 

I did the laundry.

I cleaned up the breakfast dishes and started dishwasher. I vacuumed up the rest of the cat litter in the house.

I put away dry laundry.

I worked on doing a heart string art project. Went outside with the dogs with the sun shining. It was cold.

Picked up dog poo.

I took a 1 hour nap at 3PM. 

Woke up at 4PM. Let the dogs out for potty. It was windy, cold, and raining. Black clouds outside.

 

I had to bring the flag in from outside as it was too windy.

I paid off the American Express Loan. I paid off the credit cards. 

Hubby got home at 5PM after getting milk at Walmart.

FEBRUARY 19 2021

FRIDAY

Up at 7AM. I had taken a Benadryl last night and was swimming out of my sleep.

I made the bed.

Hubby made breakfast eggs for dogs. 

I made lattes & Nanogreens. Warmed up my egg breakfast bake. Hubby had burrito.

We watched morning news on TV.

Then Hubby did the cat litter.

He left at 9AM to go down to the shop to work on Oscar F's UTV. 

I did the laundry.

I cleaned up the breakfast dishes and started dishwasher.

I put away dry laundry.

I worked on doing a heart string art project. Went outside with the dogs with the sun shining. It was cold.

 

Dogs and I sat outside in the sunshine for a while.

We watched Frasier on TV. 

I worked on Quickbooks doing entry.

 

Tater's Doggles came. I tried them out on him. He looks adorable.

 

 

 

Hubby got home at 2:30PM. He changed clothes. Then we loaded dogs into truck.

 

Hubby took me to my nail appointment at 3PM. 

 

At 3:45PM, Hubby picked me up and I was done. 

 

We drove to the Dog Park and let the dogs play in the Dog Park. Tater ran around with LOTS of dog friends, a couple pit bulls, a very OLD pitbull that sat in the corner, a Jack Russell terrier that ran fast with Tater for quite a while, a couple Schnauzers that kept barking at Tater when he went over to their owner, a Goldendoodle, a huge crossbreed dog.

Then we drove home. 

 

KR texted me a photo of Beebo. He had to go get some teeth pulled at the Vet. He looks sad. Still recovering from the anesthesia.

At home, we unloaded and gave treats to the dogs. Both of them were tired.

Hubby took Tater with him at 5PM to the shop again and had BBQ with the guys at the shop. I stayed home with Wilson. 

Hubby returned at 7PM. 

We watched TV for a while and went to bed early.

HUBBY AT SHOP FOR POLARIS UTV / DARRYL FROM PULTE CALLS / JOHN N'S BDAY

THURSDAY

2-18-2021 

 

 

 Up at 6:30AM. I tried to sleep in, but Hubby woke me up by feeding the cats.

 

I got up, made the bed and dressed.

 

Went out to make lattes & Nanogreens.

 

Hubby made breakfast eggs for the dogs and fed them.

 

We watched morning news on TV.

 

Then we drove down to Walmart at 8AM with the dogs.

 

Stopped to get mail on the way. I got my book that I ordered from the discount book store and some nail cream.

 

Still no IRS tax refund!

Hubby waited in the truck with the dogs while I went to get groceries. I got milk, four 1/2 gallons because they did not have any skim milk. Dog shampoo, more Lysol spray, more Clorox wipes, laundry rinse.

Back home. I put dogs out to potty. Hubby unloaded groceries. 

Hubby cleaned cat litter. 

 

Hubby took John's presents & card to his house. He texted that he had left the presents on the front step.

Then he went down to the shop to work on an oil change for a Polaris UTV.

 

Hubby returned at 1:30PM. 

 

He changed clothes.

 

UPS brought his tools from Amazon.

Darryl from Pulte finally called today at 2:30PM and indicated that Pulte is refusing to do anything to fix the retaining wall. Blaming us for water in the front of the house, flowing to the back and degrading the wall? Since they installed the finish grade and the front landscaping, how can it possibly be our fault?

We decided to drive to Scenic to see the property that the Realtor had show Hubby the other day.

We got loaded in the truck and a couple that were walking past stopped to talk to Hubby for a while.

Then we drove to Scenic. Looked at the new subdivision that Dan and Dana have bought an acre and going to build a home. 

We drove past the wedge area that the Realtor wants to sell to Hubby. Proposing a sub-division behind it.

We also drove to Bunkerville area where the 20 acres was offered by the Realtor behind the gravel pit. It is far from the road, but could be a good area for a secret storage. 

Drove back on an EXTREMELY bumpy road that popped my back when we hit a really bad rut.

Drove home. 

At home, we watched TV and went to bed at 10PM.

Up at 6AM when I heard Hubby listening to automotive shows on his iPad in the living room. I am SO tired. No sleep last night.

I get up and make the bed with new, clean sheets. 

 

Then I go out to the kitchen. 

 

I was snappy at Hubby. Sorry.

 

Hubby has already made breakfast eggs for the dogs & fed them.

 

I made lattes & Nanogreens. Have to order more Nanogreens.

We watched morning news. Lots of snow everywhere. Snoqualmie Pass is open again after being closed for 1 whole day & night.

Lots of people without power in Texas. Snow in Texas.

Hubby had me order some parts for him on Amazon.

Hubby went down to the shop and worked on a RZR for an guy named Ed that had called him after learning he knew about UTVs. 

I stayed home and read my book, watched TV. Did laundry and dishes. 

Vacuumed the house.

Hubby got home at 3PM. 

We had dinner. 

Watched TV.

Went to bed at 10PM.

Up at 6AM. 

 

I made lattes and Nanogreens. Hubby made breakfast eggs for the dogs.

I picked up dog poo and put fresh warm water in the bird bath.

We watched morning news.

Hubby cleaned up cat litter and vacuumed.

 

Hubby and Tater went down to the shop again today.

 

I did laundry at home. Went down to get the mail. 

Robert was playing with one of the dogs toys that we purchased from Walmart.

Hubby changed oil on an Arctic Cat for Stanley. 

 

Hubby stopped at Walmart on the way home. He got apples & milk for me.

Before they got home, I washed Wilson in the kitchen sink. He got water everywhere. 

I dried him outside with the blow-dryer. Then I came back inside to clean up while he ran around everywhere outside.

Hubby and Tater got home. Tater was DIRTY.

Hubby brought in groceries. Then he made dinner for himself.

He took a shower and washed Tater. Then I dried Tater off with a towel.

Hubby watched TV for a while. He went to bed at 7PM.

I stayed up until 11PM. I was not tired at all. Took a long time to fall asleep.

MONDAY

2-15-2021

 

 

I got up at 5:30AM, as quietly as I could. Went potty, got my clothes - out to the living room. Hubby was already up and sitting on the sofa. He scared me because I thought he was still in bed.

 

I made lattes and Nanogreens. Hubby made breakfast eggs for the dogs.

I picked up dog poo and put fresh warm water in the bird bath.

We watched morning news.

Hubby cleaned up cat litter and vacuumed.

Hubby took Tater with him to the shop.

I did bookwork today. I did laundry. There was no mail today due to President's Day. Banks were closed.

 

I read a book - The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest by Stieg Larsson. 

Hubby and Tater returned at 3PM.

We watched Frasier on TV tonight.

Went to bed at 10PM.

VALENTINE'S DAY

SUNDAY

VALENTINE'S DAY 

 

 

Up at 6AM. Hubby was in the front bathroom. He had locked a cat in the master bathroom, so I had to get up and let Rattler out.

 

I let the dogs outside after putting Tater's collar on him. 

 

I took warm water out to the bird bath.

Then I made lattes & Nanogreens. 

Hubby made eggs for the dogs and fed them. He made a burrito for himself.

We exchanged Valentine's cards after Hubby went out to the camper to find my card.

We spent a lazy day at home and did not do much of anything.

CAMPING SATURDAY / FEBRUARY 13

SATURDAY

2-13-2021 

 

 Hubby was up at Midnight with the dogs for potty.

 

Then at 5AM, it started raining. It quit after about an hour. We fell back to sleep.

 

Up at 6AM and fed breakfast bake eggs to the dogs. I made extra hot lattes. 

Hubby took the dogs out for potty. Then he tied the dogs up by the camper and went to use the camp restroom facilities. 

Hubby got back and fed the puppies. 

Then we got out and started a fire. There were clouds in the sky at first, but it started clearing off with blue sky. 

Dave came over to see us. Carmen was still in the camper. 

By 9AM, it started clouding up again and we decided to load up.

10AM and loaded, we were just leaving as it started raining. We stopped at the Ranger Station on the way out. Purchased a refrigerator magnet, post cards. Carmen had forgotten her mask. Talked to Dawn, the nice Ranger about the cats. They said that somebody had dropped them off.

Dave wanted to drive to the Scenic overlook north of the park, but I stayed in the truck because it was pouring rain and cold. 

Then we drove BACK to the Ranger station so I could get a park Passport stamp.

 

PURCHASES FROM GIFT SHOP

We left the park and drove to Caliente.

Walked the dogs briefly in the rain. Again-really cold.

Had lunch at The Knotty Pine restaurant. I had egg omelette with cheese. 

We took our left-overs to the dogs. 

On the internet, it said that you could visit the Railroad Museum across the street so we drove there, but it was LONG since closed. Abandoned. Very sad. Would have been nice to visit.

 

DRIVING HOME

 

Drove home on Hwy 93 south thru the mountains. Very pretty. Then south at Crystal Springs, we cut off at State Road 168, walked the dogs briefly then drove to Glendale. Got on I-15 and drove home.

At home, Hubby unloaded everything. I put stuff away.

Then I took a shower, washed my hair. 

I watched TV for a while. Hubby was watching Automotive shows. Dogs were VERY tired. 

I went to bed early at 7PM. Everything hurt. I told Hubby to shower and come to bed at 9PM.
