HALLOWEEN

SATURDAY

OCTOBER 31 2020

 

 

 

I was up at 6:15AM. Hubby had put the dogs out for potty. He was making breakfast eggs for them. He made 2 burritos, 1 for himself; 1 for Eric.

 

I made lattes & Nanogreens. 

Hubby put eye medicine in Tater's left eye because it was having icky stuff forming in it. 

I cleaned up breakfast dishes. 

Put laundry in the washing machine.

Hubby did cat litter. I picked up dog poo.

Dogs barked at neighbors getting their yards maintained. 

I crocheted. 

Hubby got home at 5:30PM. He took a shower. 

Then we left at 6:45PM to go down and meet Eric & Kristi at the Eureka for Buffet Dinner. Eric used his points for dinner. Greg bought the beer. 

DINNER AT EUREKA BUFFET WITH FULL BLUE MOON ON HALLOWEEN 2020

The food was not good. I don't like the place because it is dirty & old. 

We got done at 8:30PM. They had to dim the lights because we were the only ones left in the place.

FRIDAY / CLEAN TRUCK / MILK / AWESOME-O /NAILS

FRIDAY

10-30-2020 

 

 

Up at 6AM. Heard Tater barking outside. Hubby was making breakfast eggs for the dogs & fed them. 

I got up and made lattes & Nanogreens. 

Hubby was watching News on TV. 

Hubby made the bed. I cleaned the floor in the bathroom because Tater had drank water and spilled it everywhere. 

I ordered corrugated plastic to block the 3 windows in the office.

We took the truck to the Dollar Store and picked up treats for delivery drivers, more Awesome-O cleaner, and deodorants for the truck.

We took the Dually and drove to the Walmart RV car wash and washed the Dually there. Some guy was talking to Hubby while I crocheted in the cab. Hubby washed the entry hall rug while it was hung up on the side of the car wash wall concrete.

Some guy pulled up in a car to vacuum and he had 3 dogs that jumped out. 

We drove the truck down the Interstate to dry it off. Got off at Smith's exit and were going to get milk at Smith's, but there were no parking places. 

Hubby drove on the Interstate again to Wendy's. We got burgers & chicken nuggets for the dogs.

 

Drove to Walmart and I waited in the truck while Hubby went inside to get milk.

 

We drove home.

At home, unloaded everything and I took everything out of the truck so we could clean it.

I fed the hamburger and chicken nuggets to the dogs. 

 

 

I brought in the blanket packs from the truck. Robert decided to take a nap on them.

I sat on the sofa, crocheted, and watched Father Brown while Hubby cleaned the truck. Vacuumed it.

Hubby vacuumed the truck, I helped him wipe it down; lots of dust. Then he used a leather cleaning solution on the leather. 

At 2:45PM, we left in the truck so I could get my nails done at 3PM. There was road construction in front of the strip mall, so Hubby had to drive down and turn around. 

Instead of getting tips, I had Andy do gel nails on top of my real nails, a very thin application. And then do white tips. My nails look much better and they feel real. 

 

I was done at 3:45PM and called Hubby. He came to pick me up quickly.

 

We drove home. 

 

At home, we played with the dogs. 

 

Hubby and I watched the new season of Father Brown on TV. I crocheted. 

 

Hubby took Tater for a walk/run at 8PM. I put wash rag outside on the patio so that Hubby could wash Tater's feet. 

 

I went to bed at 9PM.

PEDICURES / RE-UPHOLSTER CHAIR

THURSDAY

10-29-2020 

 

Up at 7AM. Made the bed. 

Hubby had already made breakfast eggs for dogs & fed them. 

When I came out of the bedroom, Hubby was watching TV News. So the internet is working again.

I made lattes & Nanogreens.

I made the bed; I put the comforter in the washer to clean. 

I vacuumed. I picked up dog poo.

Hubby started cutting the outdoor vinyl fabric for our seat in the office.

 

 

I ordered the tacks for the chair from Amazon. 

 

I ordered KR's snowflake 2020 ornament from Swarovski.

 

 

Hubby cleaned the cat litter. Hubby cut Wilson's toenails.

Hubby cut Wilson's toenails. Then he scrubbed the concrete outside on the patio.

We had to leave at 11:45AM to go get our Pedicures at Chrome Nail Bar. 

 

 

We got nails done. I talked with the lady doing my nails. She had to get stents put in her heart arteries. Hubby paid after we were done.

We drove to Panda Express and got lunch. They forgot our spring rolls & vegetable roll. Hubby had to drive around and alert an employee who went inside and got them for us. Then when we got home, they had not put in Hubby's Beef and instead given us 2 Walnut Shrimp instead. 

 

 

We had lunch.

Hubby finished cleaning off the patio.

Hubby went swimming at 2:30PM. I crocheted. Then Wilson was barking at the neighbor, Barbara in her back yard. So I went out and told Wilson to calm down. Talked to Barb for a while. Hubby returned at 4:30PM. 

 

Hubby and Tater went for a walk/run at 6PM. They returned at 6:45PM. Hubby washed Tater's feet off on the back patio.

Hubby took a shower. 

Hubby did his leg compressions.

Hubby had his left-overs for dinner. I crocheted and watched Father Brown.

I went to bed at 9PM.

UTV BREAKFAST / FIX WALL SCONCE / REPLACE AIR FILTERS

WEDNESDAY

10-25-2020

 

 

Up at 7AM. We slept late. 

 

Hubby put the dogs outside for potty. I made the bed. 

 

Hubby made egg breakfast for dogs. I gave fresh water to the birds in the waterer.

 

Then I made lattes & Nanogreens.

 

At 7:50AM, Hubby changed the cat litter and went to meet the guys at the UTV Breakfast at Golden West Casino.

Cleaned the breakfast dishes, I started the dishwasher.

Hubby forgot his cell phone at home. 

I crocheted and watched Father Brown. 

Hubby returned at 10:30AM. Said the guys are going to the Flag on the Mesa at 1PM to replace the flag.

Hubby changed cat litter and vacuumed.

Hubby changed air filters in the ceiling. Kitties helped him.

 

Hubby fixed the electric in the office. Now all the outlets work again!

 

The Internet (TDS) went down about 1PM.

 

Hubby helped me install the new computer monitor support arms. He could not get the arms to be even. I was frustrated and wanted to return them. 

 

Hubby and I went to the Pioneer Center to swim at 3PM.

 

The water was only 76 degrees when we got there. I refused to get in the outside pool. I went inside to try it and see if it was warmer. IT WAS NOT. So I told Hubby that I was going home and would return in 1 hour. 

 

I arrived home and gave a snack to the dogs. Some string cheese. Then I crocheted for a while. Internet was still out.

 

I worked on the computer arms again and got them to work.

 

I went to pick up Hubby from the Pioneer Center and drove the Golf Cart. I took Tater with me. Dave, Carmen, and Hubby were in the pool.

 

Hubby got in the cart with me after getting dressed. Then we drove home, stopped to hand apple cores to the bunnies. Tater rode between us.

 

On the road coming home, Tater wanted to run so he got out of the Golf Cart and ran. We went down to the dead end and then came back. Tater was really tired.

 

Washed Tater's paws when we got home. He got lots of water outside.

 

Tater slept for the rest of the night. He had gotten a lot of exercise.

 

Internet restored at 9:30PM.

 

 

 

DESK / INSTALL MONITOR HOLDERS / WALL SCONCE

TUESDAY

10-28-2020

 

Up at 2AM because I had severe cramps, which I should not have had as I took a marijuana brownie last night. 

 

So I took a hot bath, then got a blanket and slept on the bed in the spare bedroom.

 

Hubby forgot to put the garbage out this morning.

 

Hubby was up with the dogs at 6AM and brought me another blanket because I was cold.

 

Hubby made dog eggs and fed the dogs. I got up and made the bed. Made lattes & Nanogreens.

Hubby watched News on TV. 

Then he got dressed. He helped me move the computer and printer into the office. We moved the desk so that all the feet were on the rug. Hubby set up the monitor holder, but it is cheap and does not maneuver too well. It is not even with the other monitor on one side, so I ordered another one on Amazon.

 

The office desk chair is too short. The office desk is too tall. The monitor holder does not work. I HATE all the wires that can be seen on the desk. 

 

DESK IN OFFICE

I did dishes and put clean dishes away.

I did laundry and put clean laundry away.

I picked up dog poo.

Hubby started to put in the plumbing pipe wall sconce. It took over 1 hour to fish the wire up thru the wall. 

It eventually took 2 hours to install the wall sconce. Then Hubby realized he had cut off the power to the closest outlet by the door. So he has to re-wire it again.

At 2PM, Fred's Appliance called and left a message indicating they needed a contact for payment to fix the oven at our rental house in Idaho. So I called them back and gave them the info.

 

Hubby took a rest and ate lunch. He made me a sandwich. 

 

We watched Father Brown on TV and I crocheted. Hubby looked at his iPad.

 

At 5PM, we went down to Walmart. Left the dogs at home. I got more yarn. 

 

We returned home and put away groceries. 

 

I submitted the Starbucks rewards receipt.

 

We watched The Goes Wrong Show then Archer. 

 

I went to bed at 10PM.

 

 

 

COLD / WIND / FISH TAPE / SAWHORSES

MONDAY

10-26-2020 

Up at 6AM. Hubby was already up and fed dogs their egg breakfast.

It was 41 degrees when I got up. Still really windy. 

I had a shower, washed my hair. Dried my hair. Got dressed.

Hubby helped me make the bed.

I made lattes & Nanogreens. I made cheese eggs for myself.

I put out clean water for the birds.

I crocheted.

Lots of birds came to the watering bowl outside. 

Hubby went down to the shop and cut out stars for the handsaw Xmas trees. 

He took Tater with him. They were gone until 4PM.

At 1PM, Jose and Mafia came over with the office desk that Hubby had made. They put it in the office.

UTV RIDE TO BEAVER DAM / LOTTERY TICKETS

SUNDAY

10-25-2020

 

There went October. The months and weeks just rush by.

 

Hubby changed the sheets & made the bed while I made breakfast eggs for dogs, lattes, and Nanogreens. We had breakfast. Hubby gave breakfast eggs to dogs.

 

Wore my UnderArmor shirt because it was supposed to be cold. 

 

Took the SXS and drove over to the Pioneer Center. Met Scott at the Pioneer Center. There were LOTS OF CARS THERE. Early voting. 

We drove to Beaver Dam. Got drinks. Hubby got Bloody Mary, I got a Screwdriver, Scott drank beer. Purchased Lottery tickets in the bar. 

 

 

We sat outside and talked. Hubby got me a gross cinammon muffin in the Dam Store. I had to break it up and give it to the birds. 

Stopped at Flying J on the way home, got more gasoline in the SXS, picked up some cinammon rolls inside, some meat sticks, and chicken/corndog. 

Hubby had a bite of his meat stick and some deep fat fried corn-on-the-cobb (gross).

At home, Hubby rinsed off the SXS because it was so dusty. 

Dave, neighbor stopped by to talk with Hubby.

We washed the dogs at 1:45PM. 

 

 

At 2PM, we went over swimming. Lots of people still at the Pioneer Center voting, lots of cars.

 

The water outside was too cold. I tried to go in, but the wind was blowing and I was freezing. I went inside instead. Little warmer, no wind. I went outside and asked Hubby to come swim with me.

We swam until 3PM. Clouds were overwhelmingly dark in the sky. Looks like severe rain.

 

Golf Cart died several times on the way home. 

At home, I made hot latte. Hubby had soup left-overs from the day before.

I snapped a quick picture of the dark clouds and wind outside before the sun went down at 5PM. It is so depressing to have fall upon us so fast. 

 

 

I took a marijuana gummy and went to bed early at 8:30PM.

Hubby put together the two handsaws that will make a Xmas tree. I figured out the size star he needs. Hubby researched the rust process online.

Still really windy outside.

COLDER / ZOMBIE PARADE / RECOVER CHAIR

SATURDAY

10-24-2020

 

 

Up at 6:30AM. I got up to make lattes & Nanogreens.

 

It was COLD! Only 57 degrees this morning!

Hubby was already making eggs for dog breakfast. He fed the dogs.

I gave fresh water to the birds. Birds were REALLY bathing in the water today!

Hubby had to watch the news because it had snowed in CDA/Spokane. Power Outages, Closed Passes, Accidents.

 

Tater helped Hubby watched TV.

Hubby got dressed. I started laundry. I made the bed. I started the Roomba in the master bedroom.

I downloaded digital files for the Dominoes from Etsy.

Hubby started working on re-covering the chair. Cat sat on it and flipped it off the table where Hubby was working.

ROBERT HELPS TO RECOVER CHAIR

Hubby made strawberry/banana smoothies at 10:30AM.

 

Went swimming at 2PM.  

We came home, changed clothes. 

Went to see the Zombie Parade at 5:30PM down on the Boulevard in Mesquite. 

On the way home, we stopped at Deep Roots Harvest. Hubby went inside and got me gummies & a brownie & a peanut butter cookie.

At home, I ate the cookie.

We sat and watched The Show That Goes Wrong on TV. 

I went to bed at 8:30PM.

Hubby came to bed at Midnight.

INSTALL CHANDELIER / COLD WATER

FRIDAY

10-23-2020 

 

 

 

Up at 5AM. It is only 60 degrees. Brrr. 

I have not gotten much sleep. I was tossing and turning in pain all night. 

I took a hot bath. Then I started the laundry again because it sat in the washer all night.

I made lattes & Nanogreens.

 

Hubby made eggs for the dogs & fed them. 

 

I put fresh water out for the birds. 

 

I made the bed. 

 

Cleaning Company came and we told them to come back next week. 

Dana called this morning, freaking out about how to get his trailer home when he takes delivery of it in December. He thought he could not tow it on the road without a license plate.

Hubby got the ladder out to install the chandelier. He had to study the adapter from Home Depot because Pulte cannot install ceiling can lights as normal and have to make everything difficult. Robert cat decided to climb the ladder and help installation.

I helped Hubby install the chandelier by holding it up, while he screwed in the wires and support panel.

NEW CHANDELIER

Very interesting shadows cast in the hallway with the new chandelier. 

 

I crocheted. Sat on a heating pad for my T2-T4 pain. 

Casey W called from Idaho to say that they closed on their house. Sold it. Now they can move. 

We went swimming at 2PM. Stopped to get the mail. KEC bill, and junk mail.

We left Tater in the kennel because he was barking too much.

The water was FREEZING! Of course, the pilot light blew out again. They are leaving the pool open until Nov 1, but refuse to heat it. 

Hubby got into the pool. But I sat on the edge with just my legs and butt in the water. It was only 76 degrees F. Way too cold. We stayed in the water for 1 hour. That was all I could take.

We drove home the long way and saw a couple bunnies. At home, Hubby gave the dogs some meat treats. Then I wanted Chili & peanut butter sandwiches to warm up. It was only 82 degrees. LOL. We drove down to the Terrible Herbst Chevron by Walmart to pick up bread. Hubby ran inside. I waited outside. Heard some lady screaming & hitting her car.

We drove home. Hubby warmed up chili for me and made sandwiches. 

We watched TV for a while.

 

I drank wine and finished the Green Apple marijuana chewies. They tasted awful.

 

Hubby took Tater for a walk/run with the golf cart at 8PM. Then Hubby came home, washed Tater's feet and then did his compression boots. 

 

I went to bed at 9PM.

WALMART / BLACK CAT GOOGLY EYES / SWIMMING

THURSDAY

10-23-2020 

 

 

Up at 6:30AM. Hubby was already up and making egg breakfas for the dogs. He used left over spaghtti and the meatballs that I warmed up last night.

Sunrise was bright pink/red. Red sky at night, Sailors delight. Red sun in morning, sailors take warning. 

I made lattes & Nanogreens. I gave clean water to the birds.

I made the bed. Started to wash the comforter as it was covered with dog hair.

I vacuuumed. Hubby cleaned cat litter. Robert decided to watch us from on top of the kitchen cabinets.

Hubby was watching Automotive shows.

 

Cats were climbing on the plumbing pipe shelves.

 

We drove around Wishing Well, looking at all the political signs posted. 

 

 

Drove to City Hall and dropped off our ballots inside.

 

VOTED

 

 

Then we went to Walmart. Picked up googly eyes for the black cats, groceries.

 

Still empty shelves in the cleaning aisle. We bought 1 Clorox Wipes.

Drove across to Animal Farm to get our FREE cat food bag (after purchasing 10 bags). 

 

Drove home. Saw Carmen & Dave driving up the hill in their golf cart.

Unloaded groceries.

 

I glued the Googly Eyes from Walmart onto the black cats then put them out in front of the house.

 

BLACK CATS & PUMPKIN

I finished another pumpkin.

Chad, the bug guy from Bulldog Pest Control came. After he was finished, I gave him a pumpkin for his wife, and 2 pumpkins for the girls at the office.

 

UPS had brought the tie-back for our bathroom curtain, but it is the wrong size. Hubby will have to bend some rod to make a correct fitted one. 

UPS also brought bulbs for our chandelier. 

I put together the reducers for the plumbing pipe wall sconce. Hubby held it up to the wall to see what it will look like.

 

 

I updated info on internet. Paid bills online.

Hubby ran over to Stan & Betty to get the wine. He took over a metal part that he made them. 

 

 

Hubby made pizza for lunch for me. And poured wine. I had a nice buzz on while we went to swim.

I verified insurance info for Can Am and printed out new proof of insurance. 

Hubby made me pizza for lunch. Warmed up a mini pizza in the air fryer. He poured me some wine.

We went swimming at 2PM. I was quite drunk. Talked really loud at the pool. Only 4 other people in the pool at the time. 82 degrees and kinda cool.

Irl came at 4PM, but left with us at 4:30PM.

I walked Irl out to his golf cart and gave him a pumpkin for Kathy and the washed face mask that they had loaned me.

I drove home. Went around to see the bunnies.

At home, Hubby made meatloaf. I had cookies & latte. 

Hubby and Tater went for a walk/run with the golf cart at 6:45PM.

I re-filled the dog water and turned off the misters outside. I turned on the dryer again and finished drying our comforter.

We watched TV for a while. I went to bed at 9PM. My left shoulder feels like it is dislocated. Lots of pain. There is intense pain between my shoulders on my spine. Really difficult to sleep.

Hubby came to bed at 11PM.
