Got up at 5:45AM. Could not sleep any longer.
Hubby put dogs out for potty.
I got up and made the bed. Then I made lattes.
Had to make eggs for myself. Hubby cut up new watermelon. It was better tasting than the last one. Hubby made eggs for dogs & fed them in the courtyard.
We ate in the courtyard. Dogs barked at somebody new walking by with a big dog!
Then we put away breakfast dishes. I started laundry.
Hubby vacuumed. We both put away things so that the Grout Cleaner guy can clean the tile floor. Tater barked at the vacuum noise.
The Grout guy came at 9:30AM. We finished cleaning up and got the dogs loaded in the Dually.
We left the Grout guy at the house cleaning, and we drove to Gunlock Reservoir. It was pretty awful. Not a very nice place. No place to walk up to the falls. No handicap accessible. HOW in the fuck is it a State Park with no Handicap accessible trails???
Walked the dogs at Gunlock Falls. Only steep trails to go over to see the falls. Not happening with Hubby's poor legs.

So we loaded up and drove around the reservoir. Found an awful dusty, dirty place to turn out and took the dogs down to the water so Tater could try swimming. He was hesitant. It would be better for him in a pool.

We continued on and thru Gunlock town, saw about 10 poor donkeys that were stuck in a small pen about 20x20. No place to stand or walk around. Damn Fucking Ass people. I hate stupid people like that.
Then we continued driving to Veyo where Hubby had heard from some people that had good pie. We stopped at Veyo Pie. Could barely turn around in the place, SO many people crowding into the small shop. We bought a piece of cherry, apple, and lemon cream.
Veyo Pies
Drove over to
Slice Of Veyo in town and got DELICIOUS Hawaiian pizza. Waited in the truck with the dogs and the A/C running.
Slice of Veyo
Ate pizza and shared with dogs.
Drove back thru Dammeron Valley and saw huge homes. Then past Snow Canyon State Park. Saw an old volcano. Wow.
Thru Ivins then back on Hwy 91 back to Mesquite. Hate that highway in the truck. SO bumpy. Lots of traffic due to the Interstate being closed to 1 lane in the Canyon.
Tired Tater Sleeping
At home, we found that the Grout guy had not cleaned all the spots in the floor. Some of them are quite still dark. He needs to fix that before he puts a sealant on everything. The shower has a lot of dark stains there.
Also, there is some stain in the Stainless Sink in the kitchen that was not there before. He might have put a rag in there with chemicals and it ate thru the steel. We will have to talk with him about that tomorrow. So far, I am once again disappointed in a Contractor in this area.
Clean Dogs Resting Out on Patio
We washed the dogs and left them outside. Hubby took a nap on the glider outside.
I started a load of towels from washing the dogs. Then put more laundry in the dryer.
We went swimming at 5:45PM. I went to exercise, Hubby detoured to listen to the accoustic musical trio that were practicing in the main area.
I had done 11 miles on the bicycle. Both of us went outside for the pool at the same time.
We swam until 6:45PM. Talked to Irl. Nobody else really came to swim at the pool tonight. Only 5 people in the pool total.
Drove home. Changed into dry clothes. Got the dogs loaded and drove to the Dog Park. We met Preston there with his dog, Red. A 10 year old bull dog.
We left after Tater got hoarked by some little dog. Mean, nasty thing that needs to be in the little dog area. Stupid woman has too many little dogs.
Poor Tater was quite scared.
Drove home. I had chicken salad. Watched
Perpetual Grace.
Went to bed.
