THURSDAY

Got up at 7AM.

Hubby left to go pick up Wayne in Spirit Lake.

Hubby got back and I had made his latte.

I also had made eggs for the dogs & an egg sandwich with cheese & avocado for hubby.

Had to wear a sweater today because it was only 51 degrees. It was 45 degrees overnight.

We packed the dogs in the Brown truck and drove up to Granite Hill Aggregate to find out if they had sand. There was nobody there.

Then we drove to Farragut Park to walk the same walk we did yesterday. I had lost my reading glasses when I took off my pink sweatshirt. We looked on the trail until we found them.

I re-scheduled my nail appointment for next week.

Hubby went down to the shop to start hauling because he only has the dump truck thru tomorrow. The guy that owns it, wants it back on Saturday.

 I carried stuff into the basement. I vacuumed the loft again.

Hubby came back with a dump load of sand and put it next to the garage so that we can place our stepping stones in sand.

Hubby went to the Post Falls shop at 3PM to work until 9PM.

The Window Cleaners (Jay and a young kid helper) were here by 3:45. They worked until 5PM.

After the window cleaners left, I took a nap on the sofa for an hour because I was SO tired.

He got home at 9PM and we watched tv until 10PM and went to bed. Both of us were exhausted.

WEDNESDAY
5-30-2018

Hubby got up at 6AM, gave tuna to cats & fixed eggs for dogs.

I got up at 7AM, hubby had already gone to pick up Wayne the logger from Spirit Lake.

I made latte for hubby.

We took the dogs for a walk in the park. I lost my Reader glasses.

Drove down to Bayview to check out the Lake. There was flooding, but not excessively. The water had come ovre the concrete barriers in the bay.

We came back and did some bookwork.

Hubby started hauling parts from shop to Richie's.

When he came back, he had loaded engines that we took over to Spokane S&J Engines.

Drove to Rathdrum and picked up lattes. Stopped at Ace Hardware and got dog food.

Drove to Spokane and dropped off the engines. Collected a check. Deposited it via online deposit.

Drove to Walmart in Post Falls. They did not have the correct size totes. No color choices. We purchased vinegar to kill the weeds.

Drove home.

Hubby dropped me off then he drove to Post Falls shop to work on Joe's rear end again.

Hubby came home at 9:30PM.

We watched TV and went to bed.

THE BEGINNING OF MOVING

TUESDAY
MAY 29 2018

Got up early 7PM and made latte for hubby. He had already fed the cats.

All the cats were present and accounted for so we realized that nobody had been eaten last night by the wild coyotes.

Hubby made eggs for the dogs.

Took the Excursion and we walked the dogs at Farragut Park by the brig. There was some heavy equipment sifting thru dirt & rock on the corner. So we had to avoid that.

Came back home and unloaded dogs.

We loaded up the Queen metal bed, donation for Goodwill and drove into town. In Rathdrum, we had to get gas as the Excursion was running on empty...

Then we unloaded the Bed at Larry, Jr's house. His house is coming along really good. Has gravel on the side yard to put his boat away. His grass looks really nice and the yard is nicely decorated.

We drove to Hayden and dropped the donations off at Goodwill. They refused to take pillow or memory foam comforter.

So then we got drinks at Jitterz.

Drove to TumbleStone on Government Way and purchased $500 worth of stepping stones for the side of the house.

Not Very Much Rock for $500.

Loaded it on the trailer and drove to Athol.

Stopped at the Athol dump to off-load the mattress & pillows.

Then drove home.

Got my fabric out of upstairs closet and put it all in bags to take down to the basement.

Then hubby took Wayne, the logger home along with a load of wood to Spirit Lake in the dump truck.

The people from Nu-Look Carpet Cleaning were here to clean the carpets by 1:30PM. Thor & Amanda.

By 2PM, Hubby went to load car parts & haul them away in the dump truck

Carpet Cleaners were finished by 2:30PM.

I was exhausted from working around the house.

Hubby took 2 more loads of rear-ends to Richie's.

When we came home, he was exhausted.

Got up and made eggs for dogs & latte for hubby.

Hubby got dressed and we walked dogs in Farragut Park down at the Brig.

Drove around Athol to see if we could find dogs to bark at, but there were none around. So we drove by the New USPS. It has curbs! OMG.

Then we came back and unloaded dogs.

Put massage table & massage equipment in Excursion and drove over to Spokane Valley.

Stopped at Jitterz for a drink for me in Rathdrum.

Returned hubby Old Navy shorts. LOTS of people there for Memorial Day sale. Took 10 minutes in line to return item. We walked Beebo around the parking lot so that he could pee.

Then we drove to Spokane, KR texted and said that she was already there. We met her at the Rosauer's in Brown's Addition. Beebo was excited to see Mommy home.

Left her car there and drove to Kim's to drop off all the massage equipment. Kim was not there, but her Mother was there. We unloaded everything. Kim has not left any money for me, which was odd.

So we drove back and since the Elk was busy, we left KR at her car. Drove to Post Falls. KR took Beebo home and then met us at The Oval Office restaurant in Post Falls. We pre-ordered appetizers. Most of them were extremely spicy and I could not eat them. It was a bad lunch. I had a beer, it did not taste great.

KR discussed how great her trip to Seattle was to visit with her friend Angel. She met a guy named Spencer, too.

We got done at 5PM and still had to clean stuff out at home. So we said goodbye to KR and drove home.

At home, we gave the dogs some ham for being gone all day. Then we took them down to Farragut to walk at the house with the Lilacs.

Then we got home. Vacuumed the basement, got everything out of upstairs. Moved the lumber and power tools out. Hubby broke down the queen bed in Ben's room. Had me help hand him the parts over the loft.

We watched TV for a while-The Office. Then went to bed at 10:30PM.

At 2AM, we heard wild Coyotes yelping down by the shop. We thought for sure that they had gotten a cat to eat. So Hubby got his gun and fired warning shots. We did not hear them after that. Ben kept barking at a few things. He is upset that he does not have a bed to sleep in anymore.

Got up at 8AM. There were 3 black animals on me. Beebo was at my feet, Wilson jumped up on the bed and kissed my face, then Zim jumped up on the bed by my knees.

It was a warm morning, but not hot.

Went downstairs and made latte for hubby.

Hubby made eggs for breakfast. We only had 3 eggs, so he combined them with mashed potatoes. He fed the dogs.

We have to go pick up some groceries today.

I cleaned up and put away dirty dishes in dishwasher.

Took Dogs for a walk in Farragut Park with the Excursion. Hubby had put the new back bucket seats in so that the each dog can have a seat.

We brought the dogs home and then went to Super One for groceries.

Hubby went down to the shop to work on Joe H's rear end. He had to set it up 5 times and said he did it wrong every time. He "forgot" how to do them. 

 

After hubby left, I went and sat on the deck outside. It was very relaxing to sit on the front deck and gaze at the sky.

I vacuumed. Then I cleaned up things in the Library. Put away more stuff down in the basement. 

I watched CSI Miami.

Hubby got home very late.

Went to bed and both of us had nightmares in the night.

MAY 26 2018

Hubby left the bed at 3:30am because of leg cramps. It upset me and I woke up. Then I could not get back to sleep.

Zim cat, Beebo, and Rattler came upstairs. Zim & Beebo got on the bed, Rattler jumped up and then down. He settled on his pillow.

I woke up with Zim sleeping on his back between my legs. Beebo was between hubby and me. Then Wilson jumped up on us. All our black animals were with us. It was a nice feeling.

Got up at 9AM, so that spoiled our plans to get up really early and walk dogs.

I made latte for hubby. He made eggs & sausage for all the dogs. Fed Beebo in the bathroom on a separate plate.

I started laundry and dishes.

We sat downstairs on the concrete porch on the white rocking chairs for a while. Then I had to potty. At 10AM, KC brought his wife & Addison to pick up the refrigerator downstairs. They stayed for quite a while talking. Addison is all over everything.

Hubby and KC took the refrigerator to KC's house and then returned.

Finally at 12:45, they left.

Hubby took me to Rathdrum to eat at Westwood Brewing. He had a burger and I had the turkey sandwich with fries. I had sweet tea to drink then switched to hubby's beer - One Tree Orange Cream Cider. Yum.

We drove to Jitterz and picked me up a latte.

Then we drove home behind some guy driving a truck with a camper on it. The guy only drove 35-40 on a 55 mph highway. Hubby finally passed him on Diagonal.

We got home to find that Joe, Mirror Image and Wayne were here. Joe was spraying the deck. Wayne was cutting more trees.

I went out to pick up garbage on the frontage. Somebody had thrown out a BUCKET right in front of our home. I also picked up all the plastic car parts from the accident this past winter when a car rear-ended a truck that had hit their brakes to avoid hitting a deer.

Hubby left to go down to the shop at 3PM.

I filled up water in a bucket to soak my feet.

Hubby had me text him a picture of the Window Sticker from the Jeep when we had bought it.

Wayne & Joe worked until 5pm.

Hubby got home at 8PM. Too late to walk dogs.

We watched TV for a while and went to bed at 10PM.

Hubby did not wake me up this morning.

I got up and made eggs for the dogs.

I started laundry and dishes.

I vacuumed the house.

Wayne came really late to work on the wood. He had injured his hand.

KR came over at 5PM and brought Beebo for us to babysit this weekend. She is having a small vacay in Seattle with friends.

She hung around and talked to me until 7:30 when hubby got home. Then we all took the dogs for a walk in Farragut Park at the Brig. KR had forgotten to bring walking shoes and walked in flimsy (but pretty) sandals.

Then we came back and KR left.

KR had left Beebo's leash & collar along with his mega vitamins for his hip problem.

Hubby got up at 5AM to find a part at the shop.

I continued to sleep.

Then he came back to make eggs for dogs. I got up and made latte for him.

Hubby went to move the trailer and the dump truck to the shop so that Wayne can cut down trees.

I did laundry and started dishes.

Cleaned up dog water & food.

Slept on the sofa until 10AM; still in Benadryl coma. Wayne came to cut trees.

I cleaned the house.

Cleaned out my closet and vacuumed it.

I took things to pack downstairs to the backroom.

I went down to get mail. Just bills from doctors.

Hubby got home late tonight at 9PM.

We watched tv and went to bed.

FORGOT HUMP DAY

5-23-2018

Up at 2AM with endo pain, took a bath, and lots of aspirin. Then fell asleep on the couch until 4AM. Got up and went to bed.

I had endo pains all night long, so slept late. Hubby left while I was still asleep.

Made eggs for dogs.

I started laundry and dishes.

Katrina UPS came again today with my Zappos shoe order. I chatted with her for a bit.

Bicycled down to the mailbox to pick up the post. Just junk mail.

Talked to Wayne, the guy cutting the trees & trimming branches. He asked about trees in backyard, so we walked around out there. 

Kitties followed me around while I picked up poo in the back yard.

I put away laundry and dishes.

Hubby got home late. We watched The Terror and 3 episodes of The Americans. We went to bed late.

I had a huge welt on my neck. Thought it was a bug bite. Took a couple Benadryl. Put me out all night.

I got up at 6:00 today. Hubby turned on Shaun the Sheep.

Made latte for hubby. Made eggs sandwich for hubby and eggs for dogs.

Hubby had been getting slow in preparing to go to work. So I have taken over breakfast duties.

Hubby left at 6:50AM.

I started laundry and dishes.

Katrina came with Lancome order at 10AM. I did not even hear her pull up in the driveway.

Bicycled down to the mailbox to pick up the post. Just junk mail.

Then I went out and watered plants in the circle driveway.

Pulled weeds out of the 1/2 barrels.

Kitties followed me around.

Got up at 6:15AM and made hubby latte & egg sandwich.

I made eggs for dogs & fed them. Put some on a small plate for Wilson and dragged a chair out to the deck to feed Ben so we could watch hubby leave.

I cleaned up. Gave dogs fresh food & water.

Started laundry & dishes.

I vacuumed.

Wayne, the guy that is cutting down trees to thin it out around the house, got here at 10AM. Then he worked until 4PM; some friends of his picked him up.

I kept the dogs inside so that he could work outside.

Went down to get mail; just bills for surgery.

Trim guy came at 5PM. He put the last pieces of finish on the concrete walls and was done! He loaded the Kayaks and left.

Hubby got home at 7PM; he worked on the John Deere Lawn mower and got it running. Then he finished doing the back yard.

We went to Super One to get some groceries, milk & bread.

Came home and unloaded groceries.

I was dead tired.

Got up at 2AM to potty. Wilson is honking. His collapsed trachea is back. We suspect that it is somehow triggered by pollen.

Up at 8AM to make latte for hubby. He already had eggs made for dogs & fed tuna to cats.

Hubby dressed and we took dogs for a walk in the park around the Brig. It was about 65 degrees today. Sun was shining.

We came back home and unloaded dogs.

Started loading Donation bags into the Excursion.

Taj & Holly came to pick up their boat. I went outside and talked to Holly. They got a new puppy.

Hubby went down to the shop to get the boat out.

When he came back to the house, it was time for him to go attend the picnic in Corbin Park, Post Falls to vote with the Union for a new Rep.

Joe from Mirror Image came around 11AM with his friend, Wayne.

Wayne cut down trees behind the dog fence behind the garage. Joe worked on cleaning the bottom of the deck in front. Then in the afternoon, he came back from lunch and put linseed oil on the back deck by the garage.

Hubby took Ben with him to the Frontier Communications Picnic at the Park. Ben rode in the front seat of the Suburban.

While he was gone, hubby GOT PICS OF THE NEW HOUSE BUILD TEXTED to him from Barbara. The builders are moving quite fast on putting up the house!

Hubby got back at 5PM. He then fixed the Riding Lawn mower and mowed while it got dark.

Hubby came inside and took a shower. We watched The Terror and went to bed.

Had to give Wilson a Benadryl in the middle of the night. Hubby got up to potty and brought back a pill wrapped in ham. Wilson slept between us all night on his back. I put my hand on his belly to comfort him. He quit honking after he calmed down.

Got up at 9AM because I had taken a painkiller.


Made latte for hubby. I made a hot coffee for me.

Hubby had already fed cats and made eggs for dogs.

Took the Excursion (with trailer); noticed Joey dashing across the road down by the driveway entrance. We pulled over by the shop. Joey hid behind the tire of a truck. He is becoming quite feral. Would not come to me. Might have to leave him & Captain behind with Matt Z when we move.

We took the dogs down to Farragut Park to walk. Smelled really nice Lilacs beside the road at the house by the park.

Drove into Bayview to notice the high water situation-danger of flooding this year. The water is only 1/2 foot from the crest of Bayview.

Came home and loaded cedar wood on to the trailer.

I sorted thru donate things in the basement. Zim followed me everywhere.

Hubby took Ben with him to cut wood at Dan's house, the neighbor behind us.

Hubby returned with cut cedar wood. We unloaded it into the basement.

Wilson had started honking with his collapsed trachea as soon as hubby came home. The little dog had gotten too excited.

Then it was time to leave for Downdraft Brewing Trivia Night.

KR had called and said that the Oriental place in Liberty Lake could not do take out orders until 7:30; so we had to get our own food.

We drove into Post Falls in the Excursion and stopped at Yoke's to pick up sandwiches.

On Seltice driving to Downdraft, we saw KR going the other way. We called her and they said that they had tried to find Sushi, but all the places were closed. They went to Taco Bell to get food.

We got a table at Downdraft. It was the rocking one again, hubby tried to put a support piece of paper under, but it was worse.

KR and Jared got there. Jared was lots of fun. We started the game in 1st place, I screamed! But we ended up in dead last place. We drank lots of beer and had fun.

Left there at 9:30PM. Got home by 10PM.

We were really tired and watched a little TV and went to bed.

5-18-2018

Hubby got up to potty and started talking to me at 5AM.

Got up at 6:30AM after hubby got out of bed again.

Black dog and black cat got into bed with me and woke me up. I CAN'T EVER SLEEP LATE!

I was sweating when I got up out of bed.

Went downstairs to make latte for hubby.

Hubby was watching automotive show on tv. He got up and made eggs for dogs.

I started cleaning out cabinets and drawers again, making a list of donation things. I took pictures.

Started laundry & dishes.

Hubby started napping on the couch until 10:30AM. I covered him with a blanket. Then I made him get up and take a shower.

Worked on printing out billing invoices for customers. Then hubby went around pulling out nails & hangers from the walls.

We got the truck out to take garbage to the dump.

Ben was really upset that we left. He tried to dash out the door. He ran down to the shop and came back.

We took the tan truck to the dump at 1:15PM. Picked up mail on our way out. Just junk stuff.

When we got back, I got into the Jeep to drive to the Post Falls shop. Hubby took the tan truck. I forgot my phone at home and had to turn around at Clagstone.

Then we drove into Post Falls. Dropped off the Jeep in the parking lot.

Hubby drove me to Walmart. The people at Walmart were wandering in the middle of the lanes, one guy on Meth was walking the parking lot, crazed. An old couple stole the last handicapped parking place which hubby was waiting for.

We had to park way out in the lot. Lots of scuzzy looking people shopping today.

Got to Eye Doctor's office inside and he was behind over 30 minutes. Some lady drove her motorized shopping car into the waiting room. We joked around with her.  I was taken back by the assistant for tests and told her that I had another appointment at 3:30 and needed to re-schedule if they were too far behind. She had the Dr look at me right away.

My eyes were fine. Dr said to make appointment for 4 weeks to have vision correcting eyeglasses or contacts. Told them I would have to call back after I check my calendar.

Hubby took me over to Nails at Azure Salon. Got nails done in Silver Platinum.

Nail lady said to ask more for our home.

Hubby left to go over to Transamerica to pick up parts.

Then at 4:50, I called him to pick me up.

Hubby got there at 5:35PM. We drove over to Arby's to get snacks for us & dogs. They forgot the Onion Rings hubby ordered. He had to walk back in to get them.

We drove home.

At 6:30, Hubby let me out of the truck at home. He was on the phone to Casey & Larry Jr, so I could not talk to him.

Hubby left to return to the Post Falls shop to work tonight.

I fed Slider chicken sandwich to dogs. Cleaned dog water, turned on heat because it was 50 degrees outside. Still cloudy & wet.

I put away laundry and started more laundry. Washed hubby's new Frontier shirts.

Got up and made latte for hubby.

He made eggs for dogs. Fed cats.

Hubby left for work.

I started cleaning house.

Moved everything out to the deck. It was sunny in the morning, but then got cloudy in the afternoon. I was afraid it might rain.

Vacuumed all the floors; then swiffered the floors for the hard to get off dirt. Then I steam cleaned all the floors.

I vacuumed the rugs outside and steam cleaned the rugs when I brought them back inside.

It took me all day long to clean.

I was exhausted by afternoon.

I started cleaning out drawers and making a pile of things to donate.

Hubby got home late.

I showed him the floors.

We went to bed at 11PM.

Hubby only has to work one more day this week and then he has Friday off.

He got up and gave tuna to the kitties. I got up and called for the kitties. While I was standing on the front deck, they all came running from the side of the garage.

I made latte for hubby while he made eggs for the dogs.

I convinced hubby to warm up his burritos in the Air Fryer.

Hubby left with the Excursion pulling the trailer with the Jeep on it.

He is going to drop the Jeep off at the auto repair in Post Falls to fix a few dings on the fenders.

CLEANING DAY

TUESDAY
5-15-2018

Got up at 6:00AM.

Hubby already had all the doors & windows open. The temperature was a mild 56 degrees and felt nice.

Made latte for hubby.

Hubby fed tuna to the cats.

Hubby made eggs for the dogs & himself. He said that he needed a sandwich to get started in the morning and yesterday he had only take a muffin which did not get him thru the day.

Hugs were given to me & Ben, then hubby left for work in the Excursion.

Hubby unloaded the Linseed oil that we had purchased the other day. We still can't find the ant poison that we purchased over 2 weeks ago.

I came back inside and started cleaning the window seat in the Library.

Neighbor across the street started shooting in his yard from 1-3PM. That is SO irritating.

I went outside and watered a plant, swept up the dirt from the brick sidewalk, picked up hankies from yard where I had disposed of bugs.

Went down to get mail, but there was just junk in the post.

Cleaned and vacuumed some more.

Hubby got home at 4:30 and hooked the trailer up. He drove over to Charles' to pick up a truck, but could not get it on the trailer. Then he drove to Post Falls shop and worked on Excursion all night.

The trim guy, James (Charles' brother) came at 5:30 to finish painting the drywall. He brought his brown lab with him. Let the dog run around. Then he came back an hour later to finish it up.

He picked up the cleaned Jeep from Pat's and put it on the trailer at 12:30 at night. Parked in the bank parking lot and loaded the Jeep onto the trailer from there.

Hubby was home at 1PM. I was exhausted. He had dinner and we went to bed.

MID MONTH MAY MONDAY

MONDAY 
5-14-2018

Wilson was jumping on me in bed while I was sleeping. Rattler cat jumped on the bed to wake me up.

Got up at 6:15; hubby was already getting dressed.

Hubby gave tuna to the cats.

I made latte for him. I made eggs for dogs.

Hubby left early because he had to get gas.

I did laundry & dishes.

Cleaned up the vacuum.

The guy came at 9:30AM to finish up the trim work in the basement. He left about 11:30AM.

I picked up dog poo.

Went down to get the mail.

Very boring day.

The trim guy came back at 4:30 to see if the paint was dry, but it was not. He brought his kid with him.

It was warm, with a high of 80. Did not have to turn on the A/C, it was cool because of the humidity in the air.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ME

Got up at 9AM.

Made latte for hubby.

Checked email.

Cleaned up kitchen and started dishes.

Hubby cleaned the oven all day. Hubby replaced the control buttons on the trash compactor. We cleaned out behind the trash compactor.

I cleaned the fan in the laundryroom.

I vacuumed upstairs; the living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom.

Then hubby took the vacuum and I cleaned up the kitty litter in the carpet and vacuumed all around the trim work.

Hubby had 2 people call on buying the Dodge. A couple came out at 2:15PM. They returned at 3:30 with a check. Hubby let them take the truck.

We walked the dogs at 6PM.

Returned to the house and left the dogs there. Drove to Super One and got steaks for dinner, along with ice cream.

Came home and hubby made the steaks. I was too tired to do anything. Just felt exhausted.

We watched the series SAFE on Netflix and then went to bed.

SATURDAY AND THE RUN AROUND

SATURDAY

Hubby got up at 7AM. I slept later.

Hubby made breakfast of eggs for dogs. He fed tuna to the cats.

I made latte for him.

We took the dogs for a walk in the park around the Boy Scout Jamboree area.

Then we drove back home.

Hubby had to run up to Priest River again to pick up parts from there.

We dropped off the dogs and took the Tan truck up.

Picked up the part then came back home.

Hubby had a little lunch and he left to go work at the Post Falls shop.

I watched TV for a while.

KR came to pick me up at 6PM.

We drove into Post Falls Downdraft Brewing.

Hubby was already there with pizzas.

We played Trivia and drank beer. We came in 3rd Place and KR got a free mug!

Drove to KR's house; hubby drove his tan truck.

We walked Beebo around the neighborhood.

Then Hubby and I went home.

We were really tired. Went to bed at 10PM.

TRIM WORK IN BASEMENT

FRIDAY
5-11-2018

Black cat Zim slept on hubby's legs all night long.

It took me a long time to fall asleep. I think I heard hubby get up a couple times before I fell asleep.

Got up at 7AM. Beebo came upstairs to sleep beside our bed. Hubby put him on the bed and the dog licked me on the lips to wake me up. A mouthful of dog slobber! Yuck.

I made lattes. Hubby made eggs and fed to the dogs. Hubby gave tuna to the cats.

We ran into Ziggy's first thing this morning to pick up nails for the guy coming to do the trim work in the basement.

Stopped at Jitterz to get a latte for me.

Drove back home.

Gave the nails to the trim guy that was already there.

Then we had to go down to Super One for a lopper to cut the spreading plant on the house side. By the time we got back, we found that the nails were the wrong size. We took the nail gun into town with us again. Took Ben with us this time.

Stopped at Ziggy's again to pick up the correct nails.

Then we stopped at Tumblestone to check on rock pavers to put around the side & front of house.

Drove back home and gave nails to the trim guy.

Then we used the loppers to trim off the plant. Hubby used the forklift to pull out the dead evergreens in the planter. Hubby picked up all the cut offs and put them in the back of the tan truck. He drove down to the pit with everything.

I went inside and got a drink and had to sit down for a while; I was exhausted.

Hubby came inside at 1:30PM to take a nap until we had to take the dogs to the Vet.

 Dr Mike Takes Beebo for X-Rays

Dr Mike took Beebo back to the X-ray. He determined that Beebo has extensive arthritis as he is getting old. 10 years old in dog years is about 60 in human years for a dog that size.

A recommendation of some glucosamine on his food in power form from Dr Mike; if the arthritis gets worse, then Beebo would have to be put on an arthritis prescription.

Wilson got his shots.

Hubby took the dogs outside for a walk while I paid.

We drove home. Hubby dropped me off with Wilson. He took Beebo with him in to Post Falls. First, he stopped off at Garwood Wrecking to pick up a part.

KR called and said Beebo still not home an hour later. We found out that hubby had stopped at Garwood Wrecking. Beebo finally got home. KR had missed him.

I watched TV.

Hubby got home at 11PM.

Went to bed late at Midnight. Black cat Zim was upstairs yelling at us in the bedroom. He really wanted us to get into bed!

WEEK ALMOST DONE

THURSDAY

Still raining and wet outside.

Rattler kitty slept on his pillow by my bedside again.

We have been putting Ear Mite medicine in his ears.

I got up and made latte for hubby.

Hubby made eggs for dogs & gave tuna to cats.

Charles' brother came over to give a bid on doing the trim. Hubby does not want to do it. He is not inclined to work with wood.

I stopped at Jitterz to get lattes for hubby and me. The girl was dumb and forgot the drink order as soon as I had said it. So I did not tip her because she should have written it down.

We went to pick up Beebo and took him around with us today.

WEDNESDAY

Rained all last night.

Woke up to clouds in the sky again. DEPRESSING.

Hubby made eggs for the dogs & gave tuna to the cats. I slept until 7:30AM.

Hubby went outside to mow the lawn.

He has been having trouble fixing the riding lawn mower again this year.

I got dressed.

Hubby took Ben and went down to the Post Falls shop.

I left for my hair appointment at 11AM.

Got there at 11:30AM. Rachelle did my hair. Hair color & Keratin treatment.

I purchased additional shampoo and deep conditioner

I got out of there at 2:48PM.

Drove home and hubby was not here. Called him and he said that he was at Garwood Wrecking picking up a title. Then he stopped at Charles' to pick up a check.

Some guy came driving thru the shop & house. He was looking for hubby.

Hubby got home after getting milk.

He fixed the popped breaker for the fridge.

I digitally deposited a check for him.

We walked the dogs in the park by the Brig. Parked outside the park with the Excursion.

Came back and had dinner.

I was really tired.

We watched the next episode of The Terror then watched The Americans.

Went to bed at 11PM.

POST SURGERY

TUESDAY
5-8-2018

Woke up at 7AM. Actually got to sleep in late.

Wilson jumped on the bed. No kitties snuggled with us. Rattler slept on the pillow in the corner for a while.

Hubby made eggs for dogs. Fed tuna to the cats.

I made lattes.

We took the dogs for a walk in the park. Parked at the very edge of Bayview and walked in the back way.

Then we drove around Bayview to see the water and any changes in the town.

Online, it reported that the guy that opened the coffee stand/internet cafe, Ralph had died in his sleep last night.

We came home and unloaded dogs.

Drove into CDA with the Jeep and went to my eye appointment for 12:20, but was kept waiting until 12:30.

Did some grocery shopping. Got vinegar to kill weeds. Got bath salts.

Hubby ran outside to meet Kevin Reese to get paid. Then I paid for the groceries and went outside. Talked to Kevin for a while.

We left and went over to the Bank in Post Falls to deposit cash. Hubby totally forgot to cash check from other invoice. Left it in his billfold.

Drove back to CDA and went to eat at Mod Pizza. It was not very good.

Then we stopped at North 40 to get ear mite medicine for the cats.

Drove to Pat's to pick up the Dodge, but it was not done yet. As usual. Pat said it would be done "anytime today".

We drove home.

Hubby unpacked groceries.

He left to take truck to shop in Post Falls. Then worked at shop for a while. He drove back with truck for guy in HooDoo Valley.

Hubby drove to get check from Charles, but Charles "forgot his checkbook at home" and could not pay. Same old lying story.

So hubby took the truck to HooDoo valley.

I went outside and sprayed vinegar over all the weeds at the front of the house and down by the brick walkway.

Then I was exhausted. LOTS OF HUMIDITY. Came inside and was sweating, so took a bath.

Hubby got home at 9PM.

Then the guy dropped off the dump truck for hubby to borrow. Hubby took the guy home.

I was very tired. Took a hot bath.

Hubby returned in 30 minutes.

We went to bed early. I took a painkiller because my the left side of my head was still hurting.

LEFT EYE SURGERY

MONDAY
5-7-2018

Got up at 5:45AM to feed eggs to dogs. Make hubby a latte. Feed tuna to the cats.

Then we got ready and took the Jeep to Spokane Valley Pacific Cataract & Laser Institute for my left eye surgery.

We got checked in and had to wait for 30 minutes. I was #5 out of the surgeries that day. My blood pressure was MUCH better this time. 125/79. A little elevated, but not as bad as last time.

There was a different doctor doing surgery. He was not friendly.

They did not give us as many drops this time. I joked with the Anesthesiologist because he had left his coffee "someplace" and could not find it. I said that I was getting Anesthesia from a Alzheimers. The nurse laughed.

The surgery went quickly. It seemed like he dug around a lot.

I did not get a DVD even though I requested one. Nurse did not listen to me. I liked my first experience better. I declined the sleevest vest,, coffee cup, and hat. I asked if they had pens. Was told no. I was numb from the top of my head all the way below my chin.

After Surgery

We left and went to Panera Bread to pick me up a breakfast souffle. Bacon & Spinach.

Then we drove to Krispy Kreme to pick up donuts.

Hubby drove down to Total Wine to get liquor and his strawberry red's ale.

Pedicures

Hubby wanted to get a pedicure, so we drove across the Interstate to Vida Nails. It was very nice. I could not get my jeans below my legs afterwards. Had to pull and tug. Wore the wrong pants!

Then hubby was hungry, so we went to Connelly's for lunch. I forgot my glasses in the Jeep. Hubby ran out to get them. My eye was hurting a LOT. So I was not in a good mood for lunch. Hubby had Corned Beef & Cabbage. I had Irish Soda bread with Quiche & Salad. I ate most of the salad and took home the rest.

We drove to Harbor Freight where I waited in the Jeep while hubby got some tools he needed for a job.

Then we drove home.

I fell asleep in the car on the way home. Then at home, I took more aspirin and fell asleep on the couch.

Hubby took Ben down to the shop to get a boat out for people. Then he met up with a couple guys that wanted to purchase vehicle parts.

He came back later and tried to mow the lawn, but both lawn mowers won't work. He has to fix them.

We took the dogs for a walk in the Excursion, but had to turn around and come back because the people that were picking up their boat drove in as we were leaving.

Then we drove to the park and walked the dogs at the horse range. Had to park the Excursion outside the park as we have no park pass.

On the way home, we stopped to get milk & groceries. Ran into Bruce & Joanie again. Had to talk to them. Got in line behind them.

Dogs were sweating in the truck when we came out because after being cloudy ALL day, the SUN finally came out.

We gave the dogs water and drove home.

Hubby tried to mow again, but no luck.

We watched a little TV and went to bed early.

SEIS DE MAYO

MAY 7 2018
SUNDAY

Got up at 7AM and felt tired. Really beat up.

Hubby was downstairs making eggs and cooking Jimmy Dean sausage for the dogs.

Fed the dogs eggs & sausage.

Hubby had already fed the cats tuna.

We loaded the dogs into the Excursion and took them for a walk in the park down by the Brig.

We parked outside as we did not have a park pass on the Excursion.

Walked for over 2 miles.

Talked to KR while walking because she called.

It was already 70 degrees.

We drove back home. Unloaded dogs. I turned on the A/C.

Hubby unloaded the Jeep from the trailer.

We drove the Jeep to Super One and picked up milk, eggs, bread, hamburger.

Came back home. Hubby cut up the watermelon, cantaloupe, and celery. He washed grapes.

He prepped the hamburgers to grill.

CINCO DE MAYO

MAY 5 2018
SATURDAY

Hubby got up at 5AM so that he could take the Insurance Agent's truck to him by 6AM.

I got up later; he was already gone.

By 7AM, hubby was back and talking with the Ford guy at the shop. They were looking at the cars. The guy agreed to buy all the vehicles if hubby sets a price.

I took a hot latte down to hubby.

They talked at the shop until 10AM.

I made eggs & ham for the dogs and fed them. Then I made an egg & ham sandwich for hubby.

Hubby raced up the house and we took the dogs for a walk in the park in the Excursion around the water tower. Hubby was really hungry and ate his sandwich, having had no food all morning.

We got back and hubby took the Tan truck with the trailer down to the shop

I did laundry and dishes.

Went down to get mail.

Hubby got home at 5:30PM.

He was so tired & hurting that we did not go to Amanda's Cinco de Mayo party, staying home instead.

We watched a stupid movie; Anon with Clive Owen.

Hubby fell asleep on the couch.

I watched the new Netflix series of Lost In Space. It was interesting.

Went to bed at 10:30PM.

FRIDAY, HUBBY'S DAY OFF

MAY 4 2018
FRIDAY

Got up at 8AM; we did not sleep well last night.

By the time we got the dogs fed eggs and fed tuna to the cats, it was time to get ready.

I drove the Dodge into town and hubby drove the Excursion.

We dropped off the Dodge at Pat's to detail. Try to sell it across from the high school in Rathdrum.

Then hubby drove us over to Walmart where we went inside for my 1 week appointment to check on my cataracts with the optometrist, Dr Lindauer.

Their little daughter was running around screeching.

I had my appointment with the Doctor. Healing coming along good.

We did a lot of stuff today that I can't remember.

Went to bed at 11:30; at 12:30, Casey called to let us know about Tom's step-son having an accident near Spirit Lake.

Hubby talked to Casey for quite a while, then called Tom. We finally got back to bed at 1AM.

MAY 3 2018

Got up at 6:30AM. Hubby had turned on the TV and it was loud.

Hubby woke me up by calling out to me.

I went downstairs and made him a latte.

Then I napped on the sofa after he had gone.

Started laundry & dishes.

Cleaned up after dogs & hubby's mess on the stove.

Went to get my nails done at 1PM. I got out of there by 2:30PM.

Drove back home.

KR had to take her car to the Post Falls shop to have Casey work on it;

I drove down to her house at Post Falls to walk Beebo with her. Beebo found a pond with a waterfall by the apartment buildings. He went swimming!

Hubby and Casey worked at the shop until 7PM. We went over to pick up hubby.

Hubby was hungry, so we drove over to Nate's, but they were closing in a few minutes.

So we drove over to Capone's. It was loud, noisy, and smelly. I really don't like the place.

Hubby and KR ordered pizza, I got the french dip. Food was so/so. The cider was not good.

We got done, and drove KR home. She took my Jeep so that she could drive it into work tomorrow. We drove home in the Dodge.

WEDNESDAY


Bad sleep. Did not get to sleep until after 12:30AM. The cats brought in a mouse to play with in our bedroom. They bopped it around. Hubby had to get up and get rid of the dead mouse.

Hubby went outside to start the Excursion.

Fog & cold outside. Rained most of the night.

Got up and made latte for hubby. Started the eggs.

Hubby left and got to work early. He called & texted me. I answered the phone.

He told me he bought a used 2004 Super Duty from the Auction place at Post Falls. The guy did not want to invest $ in after Tom diagnosed it. Hubby bought it for the rebuildable Rat Rod he is building.

I looked the vehicle VIN up on Carfax and texted the info to hubby.

Cleaned up the kitchen.

Started the laundry.

I am tired again.

THE GREAT POO PICKUP 2018

TUESDAY
5-1-2018

Was very tired this moring.

Got up once hubby turned on TV to watch Shaun The Sheep.

Made latte for hubby.

He had already made eggs and fed the dogs.

The cat was eating cheese out of his container. I gave the cat some more cheese.

Hubby made his sandwich.

He left at 6:30AM. Stopped at the shop to pick up parts.

It was cold this morning. Only 45 when we got up, so I turned on some heat.

I did laundry & dishes.

After only picking up dog poo for 2 days, I am already done with the Great Poo Pickup of 2018. No more of those ever again. We will be living in perpetual sun with no winter.

Picked up a couple pieces of Dog Poo in the backyard.

Hubby called at 10AM to have me text him a copy of his Sales Tax license again.

I did some brief bookwork with deposit slip and expenses.

Tried to nap, but phone kept ringing.

Then hubby called to let me know he was going to the Post Falls shop after work.

The Mirror Image guy got here at 5:30PM. He worked on the decks until 8:30PM.

Some logger guy to drop off a business card. He talked to me for quite a while. Could not get rid of him.

Hubby got home with potential buyers at 7:15PM. They looked over the house. I quickly tidied everything up. Put stuff in cabinets, threw stuff in drawers to make it look cleaner.

They walked thru the house. Sounds like they are already thinking in their heads that they want it.

We had dinner. Watched TV for a while. Went to bed at 11:30PM.

Hubby took painkillers because he hurt so much.
