Got up at 6AM to potty; hubby let the puppies outside.

Came back to bed. Up at 7AM. Hubby greeted me with a cupcake & candle.

I made mini quiche for breakfast.

I opened my present from Dee. Opened cards from Hubby. Dee got me Body Wash & Oil from Bath & Body; a Birthday Girl Wine Glass; a Snowman ornament.

I paid payments & KEC.

KR texted me and told me Happy Birthday.

I tried to make a phone call to HOA billing, but they were closed today.

We loaded dogs in Dually and drove to St. George.

Picked up new Starbucks mug and returned old one; then got lattes. Bought a latte for the girl in line behind us because we were taking so much time.

Returned sweater, bracelet, and Vornado humidifier to Kohls.

Walked dogs at Kohls.

It snowed (flurries) in St George.

Talked to Dave 2.0.

Picked up stuff at Harbor Freight that hubby needed.

Ate lunch at Chik-Fil-A. Ate in the truck. Gave chicken to dogs.

Drove back home

Unloaded dogs & let them out to potty. Brought stuff in from Harbor Freight.

Forgot milk, so had to run down to Walmart. Left dogs home.

New neighbors in Yellow house were here for the New Year. Leaving on Wednesday again. Lights on in their bathroom!

Got milk, more dice for Yahtzee. Food for New Year's Eve.

Came back home. Unloaded groceries.

Hubby made food. We watched Twilight Zone marathon.

Chicken Salad on Mini Croissants, Mozarella Cheese Sticks, Pepperoni Pizza Bites.

Hubby woke me up at midnight, but no Fireworks. Some neighbors set off a few firecrackers nearby, but nothing big.

DAY BEFORE NEW YEAR'S EVE

DECEMBER 30 2018
SUNDAY

Got up at 7:30AM.

Made the bed.

Made lattes. Hubby was making eggs.

I picked up dog poo & vacuumed cat litter.

Hubby picked up cat poo.

We left the dogs home and went to get tools for hubby at his shop; then we stopped at Flying J for hubby to pick up champagne for orange juice.

Then we drove to Walmart and hubby got b'day cards for me; cupcake for my b'day; and a pizza to make today.

At home, we made the pizza. Put the dogs out to potty

I talked to Dee briefly when she called. She is still recovering from Sinus infection.

Cleaned up cat nip that Wilson tore apart.

CAN-AM FOR REPAIRS

12-29-2018

Hubby was up at midnight because Ben was whining to go outside.

Then again at 5AM because Hubby kept thinking about the repairs on the Can-Am and if they would interfere with the winch. He was out in the garage measuring.

I got up at 7AM to make lattes.

Hubby was making eggs for breakfat.

Then I cleaned up cat litter, picked up dog poo.

Started laundry.

Cleaned up breakfast dishes & started dishwasher.

We watched the TV News from Spokane & Las Vegas.

They said it was 29 Degrees in Mesquite last night. Brrrr.

We took the dogs in the Dually and drove to UPS Store so that we could FAX birth certificate to Milliman Pension account; mailed Keen boots back to Amazon.

Walked dogs at park on edge of town. Wilson was upset and had to pee a lot.

Drove to shop to drop off boxes & pick up floor jack & tools. Hubby decided to do the Can-Am repairs at home.

Then drove to Scenic to pick up the Winning Lottery Tickets!

Stopped at Wendy's to get burgers.

Drove back home. At home, found that Wendy's gave me a Spicy chicken sandwich which I had to spit out instead of the bacon maple that we ordered & paid for. Hubby had to call and let them know.

Brought the other Barn Door inside the house.

I put the Xmas rug outside the front door in the Xmas stuff stored in the garage; Then vacuumed the brown rug and put it outside the front door.

I zip-tied the frost free cover that I purchased for Hubby's Xmas present.

Hubby started to work on the Can-Am fixing the A-arm.

I took a hot bath. Put prescription cream on my feet.

I made overnight oatmeal.

We watched TV and went to bed at Midnight.

DERMATOLOGY APPOINTMENTS

12-28-2018

Got up at 7AM. Hubby was already making breakfast. He had put dogs out at 5AM.

I made lattes.

We sat on the sofa and had breakfast. Hubby ate eggs. I ate mini quiche.

New neighbor was next door with a bunch of cars doing a walk thru with people. 

Hubby stained the back of the Barn Doors. Cats played in the garage with him.

We went to our Dermatology appointment at 1:30PM. Had to fill out paperwork.

Saw PA - Angel. She prescribed cream for both of us. Pharmacy from AZ called to take info to ship our cream to us. 

Then we drove to Danielle's to see about the chocolates & popcorn. Nice little single owner store. 
 We got a couple chocolates. 

Drove to Walmart to pick up prescriptions and another Humidifier.

Came home and unloaded groceries. I put cream on my feet.

We watched Person of Interest on TV.

I made more potholders.

Went to bed at 10PM.
 

XMAS TREE COMES DOWN

Got up at 7AM. Hubby was making breakfast.

I made lattes.

Hubby fed dogs.

Then he cleaned up cat litter & vacuumed.

Then I took a shower and washed my hair.

I vacuumed dog beds and changed the sheets on our bed.

Hubby took a shower.

I cleaned up Roomba and replaced the brushes.

Hubby took the Xmas tree down. I took down the inflatables in the yard.

Hubby took the Xmas loaded totes out to the garage.

Dawn & Garry came over to pick up her UPS package. They looked at the Barn Doors. Sat down for a while to talk. Then they had to leave because Dawn had a haircut appointment in St George.

I paid bills online.

Then we got a UPS delivery. Got more potholder loops from Amazon so I started making more potholders. Hubby got the rest of the stain from Home Depot.

DAY AFTER XMAS

WEDNESDAY
12-26-2018

Got up at 3AM as I had stomach cramps from eating that darn ice cream last night. I took Pepto Bismol and slept on the sofa for the rest of the night.

Up at 7:30AM when hubby came to check on me.

I made lattes. Hubby made eggs for himself & dogs.

I made the bed. I got dressed.

Picked up dog poo. Hubby cleaned up the cat litter. We watched Spokane 5AM news.

Then I started to clean up the house of Xmas decor.

Hubby put together the Tall Patio Propane Heater that the dogs & cats got me for Xmas.

We took the dogs for a walk down to the park. It was VERY windy. Watering in the park, so could not walk there. Walked around the block. Hubby disposed of dog poo.

We went to get groceries and new air filters from Walmart at 4:30.

Came back and unloaded groceries.

I walked down to get mail.

Noticed that Dawn & Garry were back. Their lights were on in the house.

Hubby watched TV while I wrote letters to Doctors and wrote a check to mail to Credit Union.

XMAS DAY

Got up at 6AM to potty. Could not go back to sleep.

I made lattes & turned on the heat. All the Xmas lights were still on from last night.

Let the dogs out for potty.

Hubby got up and made eggs for himself & dogs.

We watched Spokane news. Then we opened presents.

Hubby made sausage/cream cheese roll ups correctly this time. The house smelled like maple because of the maple sausage.

At 4:30, we walked over to John & Dee's house to carpool with them to Katharine's Steak House at the Casa Blanca casino.

John sped down there because he thought we were late.

Got there & Dana was waiting outside the restaurant. We went inside and were seated. Had cool LIGHTED menus. We ordered. Difficult to talk with anybody because we were in the middle of the room at a round table and the noise from other people talking was overwhelming.

Hubby and I ordered steak medallions with a tiny piece of crab meat and 4 springs of asparagus.

Hubby wanted to get Cherries Jubilee and they prepared it at our table. Big Fire! Whoo.

Afterwards, we left and went home. John dropped us off at our house so we did not have to walk! LOL.

We spent the night watching TV and went to bed at 10PM.

12-24-2018

Up at 7AM.

Made the bed. Made lattes. Hubby was making eggs for dogs. I made cream cheese french toast with Vanilla Brioche bread.

We watched KREM news for anything on the snowmobile accident that Ben Millward experienced yesterday. They had nothing.

I picked up dog poo and cleaned up cat poo and litter. I started dishwasher after cleaning up stove and breakfast dishes. I started 2 loads of laundry.

Hubby pulled the filters out of the vents and Rattler helped him.

I opened all the mini blinds. Then I started power steaming the tile floor.

I got done cleaning floors at 11:30AM.

Getting colder outside as the cloud cover moved in to the area.

Hubby watched Automotive shows for the afternoon. I sat with him, surfing on my iPhone.

It got colder by 1PM and I decided to take a hot bath. Had body aches & pains.

Then I wrapped presents.

Dave came over with cookies from him & Carmen. He & Hubby went out to the garage to look at Hubby's Can-Am. I wrapped a Yankee candle for Carmen and gave it to Dave before he left.

I wrapped Dee's present and took it over, they were eating dinner and gave me a sack of presents.

I came home and we had to go get my nails done at 6PM at GS nails. Drove there, stopped at ATM to get gas (cash only place). Nails done by 6:40PM. Went over to Samurai 21 and was going to have dinner, but they made us wait 45 minutes for food. Got our soup & salad. Hubby got beer. When our dinner finally came out, it was cold & not cooked. We left. Hubby paid for his beer.

Drove around looking for another place open, but everything was closed on Christmas Eve.

Domino's was closed. WalMart was closed.

Came home. Put dogs in Dually. Drove to Flying J Travel Plaza to eat at Wendy's. They were closed. We got donuts at the Travel Plaza. No food there, either. No pizza, No hot dogs, No chicken.

We went home and put a pizza in the oven.

Went to bed at 10PM.

12-23-2018

Got up at 7AM. Hubby was already up and making eggs for breakfast. He had already fed dogs.

I got up and made lattes.

Loaded washing and started a load. Cleaned up breakfast dishes; started dishwasher.

Picked up dog poo.

Plugged in Xmas lights.

Hubby said he had to run to St George to pick up Xmas gifts for me. So he left by 8AM.

He broke his annual tradition of shopping for me the day before Xmas!

I worked on potholders. Kept letting the dogs in and out.

I made mini quiche to eat for breakfast.

I ordered Acai Shampoo & Conditioner.

Researched Crown Molding online.

Sat on the patio with the dogs for a while making potholder when I reached over for my latte & spilled it on myself. Had to take a shower & change clothes.

At 12:40PM, had to come inside because it was already getting chilly. Sun had gone behind a cloud.

Hubby got back at 1PM with Starbucks lattes & Roast Beef sandwiches for dogs from Arby's.

We watched Unstoppable then went for a walk with the dogs.

Went to bed at 11PM.

ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL DAY IN NEVADA

12-22-2018

No more programs scheduled. Nothing else to do until Xmas day when we go out to dinner with friends.

We got up at 6AM. I had to take a hot bath because of cramps. Then took aspirin.

Hubby let dogs out.

Back to bed until 7PM. Hubby got up to make eggs.

He also made a burrito for himself. Then he baked bacon/stuffing roll-ups.

I made lattes and cleaned up the kitchen. Put stuff in dishwasher to clean.

We watched the morning news for Vegas, Seattle, Spokane.

I picked up cat litter and vacuumed. Picked up dog poo. Ben had vomited in 3 places in the back yard. Mostly undigested food. And a french fry from last night.

So we put up the dog food to avoid his gorging more.

Hubby went out to put more stain on the Barn Doors.

I made another huge potholder for Dee in pinks & white.

Helped hubby bring in the Barn Doors. Since the whole house is crooked, the header is cock-eyed and the doors roll towards the East. So hubby has to fix them. (cobble them because the house is not level!)

I took a 1 hour nap.

Dee and John came over to see the Barn Doors installed. They left about an hour later. I had to pick up some strange dog's poo in the front yard.

We drove down to Walmart to get groceries & Fireball.

Went around the neighborhood seeing Xmas lights. At home, we unloaded groceries and put them away. I started a couple loads of laundry.

Hubby made Lasagne in the oven for us. He sat down to watch YouTube videos on fixing the Can-Am.

We went to bed at 10PM.

WINTER SOLSTICE
FIRST DAY OF WINTER

Woke up at 6AM to potty. Then back in bed. Wilson got into bed with us.

Up at 7AM to make lattes. Hubby made eggs.

I cleaned up breakfast dishes and started dishwasher. Started a load of laundry.

Wilson and I walked. Did not walk very far because my right leg cramped up. Went to walk at Prominence and around the neighborhood.

Back to the house and cleaned up. Vacuumed dog beds and living room.

Hubby put up the picture in our closet. Then he stained the Barn Doors.

Had lunch. Turkey sandwich. Hubby had soup.

Made potholders. Made a potholder in red, white, and green for Linda to thank her for the dinner last night.

We left the dogs at home with the back sliding door open a little. We put the cats into our room so they would stay inside. Put their potty in the shower.

Left in the Dually, dropped off potholder to Linda. Hubby talked to Norm. I picked up my plate.

Drove to St George, UT. Saw a beautiful moon in the canyon on the way. My cell-phone camera did not do it justice.

Went to Kayenta Center for the Arts in Ivins, UT. Walked thru the World of Dolls. Came back out and had hot chocolate with cookies.

Then sat beside the warming stations and went into the program at 7PM. Got our seats in the 2nd to the back row.

It was a long show. At 8PM, they announced a 15 minute intermission. So we left. My knee was hurting from sitting so long.

Drove to Wendy's and picked up burgers. Looked at lights on the hill. Very pretty.

Drove home to Mesquite.

Closed up the house. Let the dogs out again. Put out all the stuff we hid from the cats.

Hubby gave the Barn Doors another coat of stain. They are looking very pretty.

I made another potholder.
