Got up and made breakfast & latte for hubby. Made omelette for puppies.
Cold in the morning. Only 32 degrees. I sat in front of the fireplace.
Went out and picked up dog poo in the afternoon when it got warmer.
I did laundry & dishes. Washed dog beds.
Hubby came home later. He worked in the shop until midnight.
FRIDAY
OCTOBER 18, 2013
Hubby was late getting up; it was 6:55 when the alarm rang and woke him up. He got in so late last night that he needed more sleep. I did not have time to make him breakfast or latte so he grabbed the Sausage Cream Cheese pinwheels that were down at the shop.
He called me and told me that he was getting a latte at Thomas Hammer. Then he went to the Mern Meeting and got a commendation.
It was boring today. Warm in the afternoon as usual.
I did laundry & dishes as usual. Went out to feed the deer. There has been food left in the bowls from the night before, so they are not eating as much.
Bud & Maggie came with me to go get mail.
When hubby came home, I told him that the neighbor that shoots all the time got arrested. He might be gone for a while...
Hubby worked in the shop until 9PM with Bud as shop dog & Izzy sitting in the truck. He came home and changed clothes. Then we took the White Diesel down to CN Diesel and left it there. On the way, we saw fireworks being shot off as we drove down Hwy 41. The fireworks seemed to be coming from the Post Falls high school. Hubby took a different truck over the detailers on Prairie. I drove the FMF with Bud, Ben, Lil Bit & Maggie. We left Izzy home because she need sleep.
Hubby jumped in the FMF with us and we went to get burgers at Wendy's. Then we drove home.
Hubby fell asleep on the couch when we got home & watched TV. Went to bed at midnight.
SATURDAY
October 19, 2013
Got up at 7:45 and made breakfast. Egg sandwich for hubby with a latte and omelette for the puppies. It was nice to sleep in late.
Hubby is panicking because they eliminated the SPEED channel and now there is nothing on Cable with Automotive shows. They discontinued all the SPEED origin shows and Fox bought out the rest and put them on a stupid Sports channel.
We got the dogs ready and took them down to the park for a walk. Dropped milk jugs off at Robin's Hair Salon in town. We saw Turkeys in the park when we were leaving. Then we saw deer on the Perimeter road when we went to get eggs. The Post Office was closed, so we could not get eggs.
When we came back, Ben decided to run thru the woods.
Hubby went down to the shop with Isabelle in the Excursion and Bud as shop dog. I went down later to help him load boats into the building, but Tim came later and helped. Dave the deck builder stopped by to ask if he should put in a new beam where the old one is rotting.
Around 5PM, hubby came racing up to the house with the Excursion. We drove into town to get one more 30 foot boat from the boat repair shop on Taryne Street in Hayden, ID. It was getting dark as we drove home the back way. Hubby did not want to drive up 95 as so many people were heading to Scarywood!
Hubby loaded boat into shop by backing it in with Tim's help. Then I drove the Excursion up to the house and unloaded dogs while hubby closed up shop and came home.
