TUESDAY

MAY 12 2026

I was up at 3AM and could not sleep. Was hot and sweaty. Went to the living room and slept on the sofa. 

Riley was up at 4AM and I had to let her out. She ate kibble and drank water. Then she went back to the bed. 

I went back to the sofa and slept. Until 5AM when the dogs got up again. I had to let Tater & Riley out. Then let them inside. I was putting Tater in bed when PBJR jumped down and wanted outside. I let her out and then loaded her back into bed when she came back inside. 

I got into bed and Hubby was almost awake. I told him about my bad dream where we sacrificed Rattler by throwing him out of the car when 2 bears were chasing us for their cub. It was an awful dream. 

We got up at 5:30AM. I got dressed. Went to the kitchen to make latte for Hubby, hot tea for me. I gave tuna and shredded cheese to the cats. Hubby made the bed, got dressed.

I picked up dog poo in the back yard. 11 loads. I threw a BALL for Riley. Hubby brought the dogs inside while I went to the side yard and took the garbage cannister out to the road. 

We put harnesses on the dogs and loaded them in the FMF. By 6AM we were leaving the house. 

About 68F degrees so far today.

We drove to Bunkerville, on Falcon Ridge where they were just fixing 1 lane at Hardy, they now have that whole right side closed - diverting traffic on the left side in 1 lane going against traffic. The car in front of us decided to slow down to 25mph because they were so scared of on-coming traffic (1 old truck). 

They have now dug about 8 feet down below the road service. There were several men standing underneath the road. Must have broken sewer line. 

We drove to Bunkerville and walked the dogs at the soccer field. Riley barked at lots of birds, Tater ran around a lot. PBJR was on a leash. 

We gave them water after the walk and then loaded them into the car. 

Drove to the Info Center via Riverside Road. Tater barked at lots of dogs being walked. 

We unloaded dogs at the Info Center. Riley barked at birds. There was a creepy dark haired homeless guy that walked thru and then hung out behind the Info Center. 

We kept the dogs on leashes. Riley was off-leash but listens to us when we call her. We walked around 1 whole time. PBJR was panting by the end.

We gave the dogs water and then loaded them in the FMF. 

Drove to FatDough and Hubby got a blueberry danish and I got a bear claw. We paid and left. We had left the dogs in the car with the windows down, but it was not hot yet. 

We drove home the back way on Horizon Boulevard to avoid Falcon Ridge. 

At home, neighbor with the loud voice was other there at his garage, waving at us. 

We unloaded dogs. I took off their collars. I did bookwork. Hubby sat down to watch YouTube TV. 

I had to stop because I HIT A WALL. Had Hubby make me some egg bites & sausage while I sat on the sofa. 

Hubby cleaned cat litter and took it out to the can in the street. 

Hubby left at 8:36AM in the white Jeep for the shop. It was going to be too hot to take Tater today.

I did more bookwork. 

I started dishwasher. I started laundry in the dryer. I took out the blankets that I washed & dried for PBJR. 

The garbage truck came and dumped our cannister. I took it behind the fence again. 

I took Riley outside and played BALL with her before it got too hot. Tater & PBJR sat on dog beds. 

I put away clean dishes. I put away clean clothes.
