SEPTEMBER 5 2025
Restless night. Rained. Hailed. Lightning like a light switch - on/off/on/off. Very fast lightning. Wind like a hurricane, probably 45-50 mph. Started at Midnight to 2AM. I went outside and brought in our cushions. Took me a while to go back to sleep. Tater was crowded next to me and Sage came to sleep on my head.
Hubby was up early with the dogs. He let them out for potty, then everybody slept on the sofa for a while.
I was up at 6AM. Got dressed. Made the bed.
Hubby made breakfast and fed the dogs.
Went to the kitchen to make hot latte for Hubby, hot tea & Nanogreens for myself.
Hubby accidentally burnt hamburgers on the grille.
Hubby had me order parts for him on eBay. We made a grocery list for pick-up at Walmart 4PM.
Oscar, the landscaper came and blew out the yard. Hubby went outside to pay him and talked for 30 minutes. I went out to pick up dog poo.
Closed up the house. Left cats in our room. Left dogs at home.
Drove to America First CU to get Shared Well documents notarized (for the 3rd time).
Then we drove to Smith's to pick up some groceries.
At the corner behind Smith's entry, the homeless druggie was begging for money with a sign. Same clothes. Dirty filthy piece of crap.
I had forgotten tape to close up the envelope for mailing. We were supposed to mail the envelopes at the Post Office, but we also forgot to buy tape at Smith's. Too many stupid people at the store. Blocking aisles, walking right in front of us, generally being stupid old people.
We loaded the groceries in the Jeep and SOMEBODY WAS SMOKING. I started coughing and loudly said that whoever was smoking was an asshole.
We finished loading the Jeep, I started the Jeep to make sure the A/C cooled it. Then Hubby drove home. We had purchased 4 bags of ice at Smith's and did not want them to melt.
At home, Hubby unloaded groceries. I helped put away groceries.
I washed my bed pillow. Had to put it in a rinse/spin cycle because it was so wet. Then I tried to dry it, still wet. I put it outside on the patio to dry.
I made the frozen pancakes we bought; they were ok. Not great. Not fluffy.
I put my Quiche Lorraine in the oven and baked it for 28 minutes.
Hubby seasoned the hamburgers and left them to marinate.
I did not want to leave again. I was really having a lot of pain. Even in my bones. It is awful.
I played BALL with Riley. Tried to take a nap, but my industrial earring was bothering while I laid my head on the pillow, so I had to take it out. I put lots of pain numbing cream on it, but it did not help. Tried to put in a different industrial, but could not find the holes.
At 4PM, Hubby went down to Walmart with PBJR in the FMF to pick up the grocery order we made this morning.
Helped Hubby unloaded PBJR and the groceries. I folded plastic bags. I took clothes out of washer and put in dryer.
Hubby fried hamburger and steak on the stovetop. He made a greasy mess.
Left Tater at home and took the girls at 6:15PM for a ride to the two grassy parks. Riley pooped in the first park. We had no doggy bag, so Hubby used a plastic that had blown in the wind to pick up the poo.
We saw 2 beautiful Saint Bernards staring at us from their house above the park.
We rode to the 2nd park and let Riley run around. She really liked that.
Loaded the girls and rode back home.
At home, I went to get the mail at the postal box.
I ordered new strobe lights from Amazon for our bikes.
Watched TV. At 10PM, Hubby started to fall asleep on the sofa. He was snoring. Let the dogs outside for final potty. Went to bed at 11PM.
