FRIDAY
AUGUST 8 2025
Up at 6AM. Puppies let us sleep in late.
Hubby got up and fed dogs, gave tuna to cats.
I made the bed, put in some laundry.
We packed the camper. Put collars on dogs. Loaded dogs. Left for camping.
Stopped to fill propane tanks on camper at the Virgin Valley Foodmart.
Drove to St George and got drinks at Beans & Brews.
Continued driving to Veyo, UT. On the way, I called ahead and ordered an all-meat pizza with pineapple per Hubby. The pizza should be ready in 25 minutes.
We arrived in Veyo, and walked dogs at Mormon church in the grass. Riley pooped and I picked it up. Hubby drove down the street to pick me up. Dogs barked at other dogs across the street behind a fence.
We drove back to A Slice of Veyo and I waited in the truck while Hubby got the pizza. He also got me some raspberry ice tea.
Some women were looking at our dogs from a bakery, so when Hubby came out, we rolled up the windows so the dogs could be in the A/C while we went to the new bakery called The Bread Mama. We got cheese sticks, wildflower local honey, peach preserves, olive bread, and a blueberry muffin.
The one girl came out to pet the dogs, but Tater had a fit and started barking at her.
We left there and drove to the Veyo City Park and had our lunch there.
Continued our drive to Enterprise, UT. Then turned east toward the Reservoir. Hubby had read up last night on the reservoir, so he gave a narrative of how it came to be.
We drove thru most of the park looked for dispersed camping, but then got into sand. Hubby turned around carefully and we drove back to the camp and got a spot at #8. It was just around the corner from the camp host. Backed up to huge rocks. Only $10 with our America The Beautiful Parks Access Pass.
Camper parked north/south as I was seated in the camp area. We set up the area with dog beds, dog blankets, camp chairs.
CAMPER AT CAMPGROUND
Saw a deer as we were driving into our camp. It was at #6 camp site. She ran away right away.

DOG WALK AT ENTERPRISE RESERVOIR CAMPGROUND
We walked the dogs several times to the entry point of the campground and back again. We could not go further as there were cattle gates.
HONEYCOMB ROCKS CAMPGROUND

Went to bed at 9:30PM. The starts came out.
I was really tired. Barely had energy to play UNO.
We left some peanuts out on a rock beside our campsite and the next morning they were all gone!
