LAST DAY OF MAY 2019

Got up at 6AM. I made lattes. Hubby made eggs for dogs. He made french toast for himself from the cinnamon bread that Dave & Carmen gave us.

We sat on the side courtyard. There was still a hint of sewage smell from the watering at the golf course.

Hubby got dressed. He vacuumed up cat litter and I picked up dog poo. I started laundry.

Put away breakfast dishes and started dishwasher.

Hubby left to go work at shop on backhoe.

I steam cleaned the tile floor. I vacuumed the bedrooms and office.

I made eggs for myself. I was tired.

I watched TV for a while.

Hubby got home at 3PM.

Hubby went out to get mail.

Our Amazon Fire Stick came in the mail. We installed it in the TV.

THURSDAY
5-30-2019

Up at 4AM to take a hot bath. Then I slept on the sofa until 5AM alarm.

I made lattes. Hubby gave left overs to dogs for breakfast instead of eggs.

Had to stop mid-way thru the Gorge so Hubby could walk Wilson as he was upset on the ride. Wilson had to POOP a lot. Then we continued our drive. First day of work thru the gorge and lanes were reduced to 1 lane each way. We went very early and did not encounter any back up.

Went to St George to get my hair done today from 9AM to 11PM. We were there by 8AM and walked the dogs along the walkway. Lots of people using the trail-bikers, walkers, runners, skateboarders - being pulled by a dog!

Hubby went to Costco to buy a generator for the house; and then to Harbor Freight for tools.

Hubby picked me up from United Hairlines and then we walked the dogs around the building.

We drove over to the North side of town and ate at Panda Express.

Drove back home. Stopped at the new Pilot Station at the Beaver Exit to pick up lottery tickets.

At home, we took a nap then went to get my nails done at 3PM by Andy at GS Nails.

Hubby dropped me off. He went to mail Social Security paperwork and drop off Amazon return box.

At 3:30, Hubby picked me up and we got groceries at Walmart.

Drove home.

Put away groceries.

Hubby talked to Dave for a while.

Hubby called Mike in Idaho to talk about house.

Then we watched new Archer, Season 10 on TV.

I took a hot bath.

Went to bed early.

WEDNESDAY

I got up and was sick all day.

Made latte for hubby at 6:30AM, then I slept on the sofa for the rest of the day.

Drank ginger ale and water.

Finally got up at 4:30PM and had a little chicken with rice.

Hubby took care of the dogs & cats all day. He vacuumed cat litter.

I picked up dog poo.

TUESDAY & SXS RIDE IN MOUNTAINS

5-28-2019

Got up at 6AM. Hubby made eggs for dogs. We fed dogs. I made lattes.

Hubby took the SXS down to the gas station to plug a hole in the tire, and get fuel. He got back and made sandwiches. Took carrots and chips. Lots of water.

We met gang at 9:30AM. Down by Chris and Paul's house. Chris and Paul; Steve and Judy; Hal in his Jeep; Hubby and me all went.

The US flag was tied at the bottom of the flagpole; so Hal and Steve folded it up; Then Hal called the BLM to let them know that they needed a new US flag out there.

We drove to a riverbed outside of Beaver Dam that had a dump area next to Cottonwoods where we lunched and pottied.

Drove the back highway home. It was boring. Hubby went 80mph at one time and lost his hat. We had to return for it. The gang was waiting for us at the underpass.

Rode home and got there by 2PM.

I went inside and hubby got way-laid by Darryl, stopping to ask if they fixed the brick on the sidewalk entryway.

There were 2 packages for us from Amazon. 

Hubby walked over to Dave's and picked up his rock & some bread that Carmen & Dave had brought back from Leavenworth.

I went to get the mail. Hubby got a magazine.

While Hubby read his magazine, we watched John Wick 2. About 10 minutes into the movie, I got VERY TIRED. So I made Hubby move. Tater was sleeping next to him. I slept for over 2 hours.

Awake at 6PM, we went outside and sat on the patio. Hubby made toast from the cinnamon bread that Dave had given him. Hubby also cut up some watermelon. We had some, and fed some to the dogs.

It rained briefly around 7PM and there was a beautiful rainbow.

Had to pick up more dog poo, pick up branches from the plants that Tater has destroyed, and fill in the holes he has dug up.

I came inside at 8PM and updated my blog. It was getting chilly outside.

We walked the dogs at 9PM. It was sprinkling, but stopped. We walked down to the park, then over by the lookout area of the city, then back home again.

Hubby watched TV for a while.

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY

MONDAY
5-27-2019

Got up at 5AM with horrible cramps. Took a hot bath. Left the dogs in bed with hubby.

I fell asleep in the bath. Got out of bath at 6AM. Went back to bed.

Hubby got up and made eggs for dogs. He made himself an egg sandwich with the cinnamon bread that he bought at Smith's yesterday.

I got up at 7AM when he sent me a text message.

I made lattes. I heated up breakfast casserole.

I put away breakfast dishes in dishwasher.

Hubby was sitting on sofa, looking at pop-up campers.

Then I started laundry. Vacuumed cat litter. Hubby cleaned up cat poo. I picked up dog poop.

Hubby gave Wilson some antibiotics & Benadryl for his right eye which had green pus in it.

Hubby finally got dressed at 9:30AM.

Hubby did touch up paint in the house.

At 1PM, we went over to Kerry's house to help her celebrate her Birthday. Shauna made a cake and had ice cream. Dana and Paul were in the back bedroom, setting up a TV for Kerry. Pam was there, but kept falling asleep.

We finally left at about 2:30PM. Went home and watched TV for a while. Sat on the patio. 

John and Dee invited us to the Free Memorial Day Vet appreciation dinner at Mason Street Courtyard at the Eureka Casino. Vets & a guest eat free. So at 5PM, we got a free dinner. Dee & John got Prime Rib, while Hubby and I picked up a little food from the buffet. We had to wait in line, but not very long.

Lots of people there. We left afterwards.

Went home. Watched TV for a while.

Walked the dogs later.

Watched Murder In The Heartland, The Bo Kirk Murder in Hayden, ID at 11PM.

Went to bed at Midnight.

SUNDAY AND SUPER SUNNY

5-26-2019

Up at 2AM when hubby let Wilson outside to potty. He came to our bed and I had to run around the house to get him up. I put my hand on his butt and it was covered in poop!

So at 2AM, I was running water for a warm washrag to clean Wilson's poopy butt.

Then I went back to sleep.

Got up at 6:30AM.

Very Warm already this morning!

Hubby made eggs for dogs. He made a burrito for himself. I warmed up breakfast egg casserole.

I made lattes.

We sat in the Courtyard to eat breakfast.

Then I got up to clean Wilson's right eye. It is oozing green pus. Then Hubby gave him a couple Benadryl. We will have to call the Vet on Tuesday. Of course, it has to happen on a long holiday weekend.

Hubby went over to Dave & Carmen's to take care of Buddy while I vacuumed and put breakfast dishes in the dishwasher. I started laundry and put clean laundry away.

Hubby got back and emptied the vacuum container; then he sat down to watch automotive shows.

I cleaned the windows that the dogs had made dirty with paw marks. I will have to order more window cleaner.

Then I worked on my Wreath all day.

We took a break at 2PM to go look for some rocks to make the rock container. We drove over to Star Nursery, but they did not have rocks big enough.

Then drove to Walmart to pick up a door hanger (Command) to stick to the front door to display my wreath.

Walmart still did not have any food from our list yesterday in stock, so we went to Smith's.

At Smith's, hubby got hamburger and bratwurst. He picked up hotdog & hamburger buns. I found some more Vanilla Starbucks flavored coffee.

We drove home and I was exhausted. My back was hurting badly.

I took a hot bath.

Then worked on my wreath again.

I got done with the wreath at 6PM and we hung it on the front door.

5-25-2019

Got up at 6:30AM.

Hubby made eggs for the dogs. I made lattes.

We sat on the courtyard, using the new patio set for the first time.

I took the comforter off the bed so that I could wash it.

Put away clean clothes.

Found that Tater had peed in the front hallway again. 

Hubby and I went over to take care of Buddy - fresh food & water, clean potty pads. We left the windows and back door open all day for fresh air.

Then we came back. Hubby worked on baking more breakfast casserole; made baked baby carrots; and I worked on his Disability Claim online. It took me from 10AM to 1:30PM.

We went riding on the Can-Am up to the Mesa and then around the wash until 5PM.

Got back and I took a shower right away.

Then Hubby took a shower.

I worked on my Wreath.

Tater ran around being nuts. He bit a piece of the tree off, he dug up a hole in the side courtyard, he played in his water. Could not get him to calm down.

We watched Kill Bill 1. Then we watched some of Red Dragon.

Tater finally fell asleep at 9PM.

We put the dogs in their kennel at 10:30PM and went to Walmart to shop.

Got milk, b-day card for Kerry. Hubby used his credit on a Walmart card that he did not know he had in his billfold. It was for over $80. So we still have credit left on the card!

Came home and unloaded groceries.

Went to bed at midnight.

LAS VEGAS BOUND

5-24-2019

Got up at 6AM. I was very tired.

We made eggs for breakfast - fed them to dogs.

Then I made lattes.

I vacuumed; put away breakfast dishes; put away clean dishes. Started laundry.

Hubby called his Neurologist in Las Vegas at 9AM to make sure they were open today.

Hubby gave the dogs some Antiemetic pills so they would not be sick on the drive.

We loaded the dogs up in the Dually and drove to deposit our check at the Credit Union. Then we drove to Las Vegas.

Picked up the paperwork; walked the dogs & gave them water.

Drove to Costco Business Center on MLK Blvd; they did not have the generator there, but we got Spinach, Eggs, Carrots, Vodka (for hubby's Bloody Mary's), Chicken breasts & ice. Hubby went to the restroom while I paid. Then I used the restroom before we left.

Drove to Wendy's to get burgers. I got a chicken sandwich.

We drove home. Lots of police on the road-made people drive stupid.

Home by 3PM. Hubby put away groceries. I put dogs in backyard and gave them fresh water.

I took a hot bath as I was hurting really bad. Lots of nerve pain.

Hubby went down to meet Eric at the shop to give him the wheels; then when he returned, Hubby went over to feed & clean up Buddy at Dave & Carmen's. Good thing they are coming back tomorrow! Buddy is a stinky little dog.

Hubby got back and I took a nap on the sofa until 5PM. Hubby was watching his Diesel Brothers shows.

Got our Homestead Declaration in the mail today from Clark County, NV.

I filed paperwork.

MORE RAIN & CLOUDS

THURSDAY
5-23-2019

Got up at 6AM.

I made lattes while hubby made eggs for dogs.

We fed dogs.

I ate breakfast inside as it was cold, windy, overcast, & raining outside.

Then I cleaned up breakfast dishes.

I vacuumed.

Hubby looked at his iPad for roof racks for KR.

I started laundry.

Then I started working on my Patriotic Wreath.

John came over at 2PM to drop off trash bags and avocados that they bought from Costco. Hubby paid him.

Then we watched hubby's shows for a while. I watched Ally McBeal while I was working on my wreath.

I put away laundry.

At 5PM, we went over and fed Buddy.

Picked up mail. We got the HOA billing; also got our IRS Refund check.

We went swimming from 6PM to 8PM. Forgot my hair-tie, so had to return home for a hair-clip.

We got back at 8PM and hubby made dinner.

I paid bills for HOA fees.

Watched the rest of the season for Sneaky Pete. It was boring and disappointing. We went to bed at Midnight.

HUMP DAY MAY

WEDNESDAY
5-22-2019


Wilson got up at 4AM to potty.

Got up at 6AM. I think I slept pretty well. Both dogs were in bed with us most of the night.

Then I changed the sheets on the bed while hubby made dog breakfast eggs. I made lattes.

I put the laundry in the washer.

Hubby fed Tater on the Patio. I fed Wilson inside.

Hubby cleaned up cat litter while I picked up dog poo. It was kinda runny.

Hubby took garbage out to the can.

Hubby went over to Dave & Carmen's house to take care of Buddy.

When he came back, I handed him his phone so that he could go to UTV Club breakfast.

Then he was going to work down at the shop on the backhoe for the rest of the day.

I washed my hair, vacuumed the house, steam cleaned the floors. Put away clothes. I cleaned up breakfast dishes.

I started cutting fabric for my 4th of July Wreath.

Eric & Dean came to insulate the garage door at 1:30PM. I put the SUV outside while they worked on it. Then Eric left an additional garage door opener for the Can-Am. They vacuumed the foam out of the garage; I gave them Coors beer for their efforts.

Hubby got home at 2:30PM. We watched TV and took a nap.

I continued working on my wreath. Hubby made chili & peanut butter sandwiches for dinner.

REPAIR SINKHOLE & SLOTS TOURNAMENT

TUESDAY
5-21-2019

Got up at 6:15AM. I was slightly dizzy and nauseated this morning.

Hubby made eggs for breakfast.

I made lattes.

Fed dogs.

We got dressed and went to purchase BINGO tickets at the Community Center.

Then we came back and went over to check on Buddy; feed him and clean up his poo. He pooped all over the rug in the bathroom. Walked him around outside for a while.

Then Hubby checked on our watering system, thinking it is watering too much.

We discussed the security door. I want to put it up because the weather is nice. Hubby keeps waffling about how to secure it to the front of the house.

I updated my blog.

I vacuumed. I put away clean clothes.

We left for the Slots Tournament at 9:30AM. Got there and registered.

Hubby got Slot #3 and I got Slot #9.

Neither of us got high score. We took our $15 Food Vouchers and then went to sign up for the GOLD Eureka card.

Stopped at Mason Street Courtyard to have the Breakfast Buffet. We got there at 10:30AM and they closed at 11:00AM.

Talked to a nice cashier as we were leaving the restaurant. I think she gave us a discount because the $15 voucher covered the whole meal.

We drove to Walmart and got milk, crackers. Drove home.

I covered up with a blanket outside on the patio because the wind was blowing & cold. Then I napped on my hammock.

At 2:37, we came inside as the wind was REALLY blowing and dark clouds came out.

Hubby went over to feed & clean up Buddy at 3:37PM. He picked up the mail, but it was mostly junk.

RAINY MONDAY & WON AT BINGO

MONDAY
5-20-2019


IT WAS COLD AND RAINY TODAY.

Got up at 6:15AM.

Tater and Wilson had both slept with us last night. I even woke up at 3AM with Robert curled up by my head!

I made lattes.

Hubby made eggs for dogs and warmed up breakfast casserole for us.

We sat on the patio to eat. I had to put on a sweater as it was raining. I brought out a blanket for Hubby to put across his legs.

At 7AM, Hubby went over to feed & water Buddy for Dave & Carmen.

He came back for an hour and we listened to music. Then he left to go work with the Wood Club at Todd's Wood shop making Choir Risers.

Got my new shoes delivery from Target by Brent - UPS. He remarked about the sinkhole that is on the sidewalk.

The guys from Kokopelli came at 1PM to let me know that they would be here tomorrow at 8AM to fix the sinkhole.

Hubby got home at 3PM. He took the paperwork back to the guy that was trying to sell us the Mercedes Diesel RV.

Watched Ally McBeal re-runs on TV until we had to leave for Bingo at 4:30PM.

Went to Bingo and they gave us guff about playing the cards for Bingo.

Hubby picked up the sandwiches and additional Green Bingo cards right away.

We ate. Kerry & Shauna were absent because they had to travel to Tucson for Kerry's doctor.

Then we continued to play and I got a Bingo on the 6-Pack! OMG! I won $150. I was so excited.

Played Bingo. John won on a "T" Bingo and had to split the winnings 5 ways! He only ended up with $30.

Afterwards, Hubby was only 1 number away from winning the big black-out prize!

We drove home. Watched TV. Hubby went over to feed & clean up Buddy.

Got up at 7AM. Tater had slept with us tonight. No accidents.

I made latrtes. Hubby made eggs. He warmed up breakfast casserole for us.

Hubby sat around most of today watching Can-Am races on TV.

He installed the new screen doors in the patios.

At 2PM, Eric called and said he had an older, retired friend that wanted to see his Mercedes Diesel RV.

We picked up Eric in the Dually and drove over to see the RV.

Hubby and I took it for a test drive.

It was very nice, but the guy wanted too much $ for it.

We took Eric back to the shop.

We came home.

Hubby went over to walk Buddy. It started raining.

We walked the dogs later, after the rain finally stopped.

Spent the night watching new 2nd season of Fleabag.

Went to bed at 10:30PM.

Got up at 6:30AM. Hubby was already making eggs.

I got up and made lattes. Still very tired.

We ate breakfast on patio. It was very cool out this morning. Only 66° F. 

Hubby cleaned up cat litter and I picked up dog poo. We both vacuumed.

Then we left to go look at property in Scenic with the Dan guy that hubby had met at the hot tub the other night. They talked from 9AM to 10:30AM. 

We picked up lottery tickets at the Store in Scenic.

Then we stopped and picked up our Patio set at Sears.

Got groceries and cat litter at Walmart.

Drove home and unloaded groceries. Unloaded patio set in garage.

Hubby made lunch for sandwich.

Sat on the patio for a couple hours.

I updated my blog while Hubby sat with me in the office at 4PM.

We sat on the patio. Then Hubby grilled chicken. He made me chicken & rice for dinner. He accidentally dropped a plate and broke it. I need to order more plates.

Went over to Dave & Carmen's at 6PM to walk Buddy, give him fresh food & water, change his pee pad. I had to go back and get our dogs because they were barking. I put leashes on them and took them for a walk in the park. Met hubby in the park as he was walking Buddy.

We walked our dogs around the neighborhood after putting Buddy back in his room.

Then we came back home, hubby watched tv shows. I sat on the back patio, somebody was burning wood. Then it started to smell like sewage at 8:33PM and I came inside. Brought the dogs inside, too.

DINNER WITH DEE & JOHN

FRIDAY

We got up at 6AM.

Made breakfast eggs for dogs. Then I made lattes.

We vacuumed. Hubby emptied cat litter and I picked up dog poo.

Left the dogs here at the house and we drove to St George in the Dually.

Went to CAT dealer to pick up parts, but found that all the items he needed were no longer manufactured. The counter guy gave him a telephone number for a guy in Salt Lake City to get parts.

Drove to Feed & Farm store to get expensive dog & cat food. We found out yesterday that the Taste of the Wild that we have been feeding all our animals for years has high concentrates of lead. So that might have contributed to the deaths of Isabelle liver & kidney problems, Harriet insanity, Maggie's disability, Bud's liver problems, Lil Bit, & Ben's cancer.

We switched to Earthborn Holistic at C-A-L Ranch Store.

Then we drove to Costco and shopped there. Got more Clorox wipes, Chicken skewers, Towels, Peppers, Mayo, Applesauce, Shrimp ring.

Nobody at Costco today, so relatively easy to get around. Except for the stupid people on the wrong side of aisles and standing blocking aisles.

Went to pick up steel for my desk at The Steel Yard.

 
Drove home.

Went directly home and unloaded groceries.

Then we went to Mountain American Credit Union to have subdivision agreement & homestead declaration notarized.

Stopped to unload steel at Hubby's shop on Hafen.

Drove back home. 

Waited 1 hour to meet Dee & John at the Eureka - Gregory's Steakhouse for dinner. They were celebrating their 1 year Retirement Anniversary.

They ordered Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes and Calamari for appetizers.

Hubby's steak was raw, mine and Dee's were a little bit overdone. No pink inside at all. My asparagus were the sizes of trees! Yes. There is a filet (tiny) under those asparagus!

The waiter comp'd the Coor's Light for hubby & O'Doul's for John  They also gave us our desserts for free.

Dee & John treated because we looked after MiMi while they were in Seattle for the daughter's wedding.

Hubby walked over to Dave & Carmen's to talk about watching Buddy while they were gone in Leavenworth, WA with the sister for a week.

DOG WASH DAY & HIGH SCHOOL CONCERT

Got up at 6AM.

Hubby was already up and making breakfast eggs.

Made the bed.

I made lattes.

Fed dogs.

We sat on the patio and ate breakfast.

Hubby talked to his former work friend from Idaho-Jeff Adams.

Then at 8:30, he picked up cat poo and changed litter.

I put clothes in washer and started it. I cleaned up breakfast dishes and started dishwasher.

Hubby left at 8:45 to go down to the shop and air up the backhoe tire, so that he could move it for the neighbor to get his trailer out.

Then hubby washed the Can-Am.

I worked on making my 4th of July Fabric metal Wreath.

Hubby was back by 10AM.

He took Tater out for a quick ride in the Can-Am.

Hubby made lunch.

Then we washed the dogs at 1PM.

Wind was really bad outside.

Went to concert at Virgin Valley High School at 6PM. It was really good. Great talent.

Got out of the concert just when HUGE, COLD raindrops began falling.

Came home at 8:30PM.

Went to bed at 9:30PM.

PANTRY DOOR FIXED AGAIN?

Tater cried out at 4AM, having a bad dream. Hubby got up with him.

Got up at 7AM. We were both so exhausted.

Hubby made eggs. We fed dogs.

I made lattes.

Hubby left at 8:30AM driving the Can-Am to go work at shop on backhoe.

I cleaned house. Picked up dog poo. Picked up cat poo. Vacuumed. Put away laundry. Put more laundry in washer. Put away dishes. Put breakfast dishes in dishwasher to clean. Cleaned windows.

I called Hubby at 11AM because the guys were here to fix the Pantry Door again.

Hubby got here about 11:30AM and advised them on Pantry Door.

I made sausages & eggs to eat. I was starving.

Hubby left again to go back to shop.

I brought the dogs inside to sleep for a while.

I went to get mail.

Sorted out the mail.

Hubby was home by 4PM. Hubby changed into his swim shorts.

We went swimming at 6PM. It was too cold to swim outside with a breeze blowing, so we went inside. It was quite crowded and some couple kept getting in our lane.

Sat in the hot tub from 7PM-7:30PM. Then we changed and went home.

Had dinner. Hubby made me chicken & rice.

Hubby had Marie Callender's Chicken Pot Pie with absolutely NO gravy. Gross.

We went to bed at 10PM.

SXS RIDE IN MOUNTAINS

5-14-2019

Got up and hubby made eggs. I made lattes.

We sat and ate breakfast with dogs.

Then we cleaned out the Can-Am. There was still an inch of dirt/dust on the floorboard under my seat. We took the windshield off because it was scratched and could not see out of it.

Left at 11:30AM with a gang of 10 from Wishing Well. Paul & Christine; Mike; Steve & Judy with Cosmo; Garry & Dawn; Hal & Rosie in their Jeep;

Hubby and I left early to get fuel at the Chevron in town - we were accosted by some scammers at the gas station that were begging for money. Hubby let the gasoline overflow as he was bothered by the guy and had to wipe off the extra fuel on the side of the Can-Am. We then drove over to the gang that was waiting on the street next to the gas station.

Drove up into the mountains towards the South of Mesquite. Finally got to a place by a creek where they set up the picnic lunch. Sat for about an hour under a pop-up on chairs that people had brought.

Hubby tried taking the Can-Am down the creek bed. He nearly tipped over a couple times. I got out and filmed instead of riding. He finally got it out of the creek bed. 

Then we took off West towards the Scarecrows; then a diesel engine that was once used for water under the Bundy Ranch; and finally to a rock hole. Dawn, Chris, Mike, and I climbed up the rock hole in the wall. It was a breathtaking view!

Headed back to Bunkerville down another road and then got into Mesquite just in time for my nail appointment at 4PM. We got done at 5PM and headed home. We were both SO TIRED.

Unloaded the Can-Am, took showers, started laundry, made dinner. Sat on the sofas and watched Inside No. 9.

Started the dishwasher before bed.

CLEAN RV ALL DAY LONG

MONDAY
5-13-2019 

We got up at 6AM.

Hubby made eggs and we fed the dogs.

We sat on the patio for a while as there was no wind blowing and it was cool outside.

At about 7:30AM, we came inside and put away breakfast dishes. I started the dishwasher. Then I started clothes in the washer.

We both started cleaning out the RV. Hubby had taken it down last night and washed it at the Car Wash in front of Walmart.

Vacuumed out the carpet and floor, cleaned all the surfaces, hubby washed all the windows, washed all the towels, and I cleaned out the shower area that had never been cleaned. I remade all the beds and washed the pillow cases.

We took the RV down to Walmart again because there was still dirt on the back of the RV, so hubby carefully washed only the back end at the Car Wash again.

Then we went inside Walmart and got some groceries for home.

By 6PM, we came back and watched TV - Inside No. 9.

At 10PM, we went to bed.

MOAB TRIP

FRIDAY
5-10-2019

Up at 5AM for a dog walk.

We microwave eggs & burritos. Make lattes. Have Breakfast.

Drive behind Eric to Ken's Campground north of Moab.

Set up in group camping. Park the U-Haul trailer over at an overflow parking lot.

Rains all day long. Stay in the RV with dogs.

Dogs and I take a 3 hour nap while Hubby sits with Eric & Dean talking under their awning.

At 2pm, go to Sand Flats Recreation Area with gang of 10 other SXSs. We will off road for about 10-15 minutes, then stop for 20 minutes so everybody can get out, smoke cigarettes, drink beer, and talk - kids run around like maniacs. One little boy is especially irritating - he runs around without shoes like an wild animal and screeches.

After 5 hours of this, we finally get back to the campground.

At the RV, Hubby takes the dogs out to pee while I clean up the mess inside the RV. We make sandwiches because we did not have anything to eat for the 5 hours while we were off-roading. Just had snacks. Gross.

I feel dirty, but there is no showers in the campground; it is primitive. Outhouses are the only things there. And the horses that are right next to group camping. Every so often, there is a drifting of horse shit into the camper.

Start the generator from 7-8PM as it gets quite chilly.

Hubby goes out to talk until midnight. The dogs and I got to bed at 9PM. Nice and warm with the sleeping bags and both dogs on top of me.


SATURDAY
5-11-2019

Hubby is up at 5AM with the dogs. I sleep until 7AM.


It was 42 degrees overnight.

Microwave eggs & make lattes. Feed dogs.

Hubby leaves at 9:30AM with the group for another all day SXS trip. I stay at the RV with the dogs.

I read my book. Surf the internet. Dogs and I take several walks around the campground. We walk over the cattleguards. Both dogs fall in-between the metal, I have to carry them over.

We go back to the RV for dog water.

Hubby gets back at 5PM.

I was going to have a sandwich, but hubby says that one woman is making carne asada tacos. We did not eat until 7:30PM.

Lots more people there tonight. Some friends of theirs came to visit. They were talking about dogs, so we got Tater and brought him out. Everybody loved him.

The puppy doberman pinscher was sitting across from us at the burn barrel. Tater was whining and wanted to play.

We eventually went back to the RV and went to bed at 10PM.


SUNDAY
MOTHER'S DAY
5-12-2019

Up at 7AM with dogs. Had to take them for a pee walk.

Had to start the generator at 8AM to get anything done. Microwaved eggs & made lattes.

Eric & Dean left early in the morning.

Hubby and I took the Can-Am to look at the Waterfall and then ride up to the Hole In The Rock where they filmed an Indiana Jones movie.

Then hubby and I cleaned up around the campground. We loaded the Can-Am onto the U-Haul trailer and headed home.

It took us over 45 minutes just to leave Moab as there was so much car congestion on the roads.

Stopped at Green River to get fuel, walk the dogs, and get Arby's burgers. Fed roast beef sliders to the dogs. We got back on the road and drove home.

Got home at about 6PM. We were both exhausted. Dogs were happy to be home and in their back yard again.
