NOT a good summer so far.

Woke up at 6AM; I had taken 1 Benadryl last night, but could not wake up. Came downstairs to potty and fell asleep on the sofa until 9:30AM.

Wayne, the logger, was here at 7:30AM. I could hear the truck & his chainsaw.

Hubby made eggs for dogs. He made burritos for the week.

I made latte for him. We could not find his coffee cup, so I had to make it in the old one.

I made tea for myself.

We took the Tan truck down to Mr. Tire to pick up the Excursion and trailer that he had left there yesterday.

Drove back home.

Hubby put up the additional "For Sale Home, Shop, Acreage" signs on the Realtor sign.

Loaded dogs in Excursion. Took them for a walk on Weir Road new subdivision.

Came back and Wayne was just leaving. He worked a lot this morning.

Hubby took Chris' tractor out and unloaded stuff from pallets to pile in the debris pit.

Drove the Excursion, stopped at Jitterz to get a latte. Went to Kal's Auto in Post falls to pick up the Jeep stuff. Hubby talked to Kal for a while.

We drove down to the Post Falls shop to get Dan's truck. I was already to the highway, but hubby called me back to the shop because the gears were not right. He will have to fix it again.

I drove to Athol; we shopped at Super One to get Tilex for the sheetrock coverage.

Drove home. Unloaded groceries. Gave ham to the dogs. There was a deer eating apples here.

Had dinner.

Watched Endeavour on PBS.

Went to bed at 10:30PM.

ANOTHER DAY OF NON-VACATION

FRIDAY
6-29-2018

Got up at 6:30AM. Hubby was already up and watching shows on TV.

He made eggs for dogs. Gave Tuna to the cats. Rattler was sleeping in the Library and Zim was sleeping on the table.

I made latte for hubby. Made tea for myself.

Wayne, the logger, came at 7AM. His friend dropped him off.

Hubby had to go get some parts in Post Falls for truck. He left directly after 7:30AM. Took Ben with him.

I paid bills online.

Danny's kid came at 8:30AM, I sent him outside to help Wayne.

I put away laundry & dishes.

I went outside to pick up poo.

Hubby got back at 10:30. I drove the tan truck, hubby took his Excursion and trailer down to Mr. Tire to have then change the tires on the Tan truck.

We came back in the Excursion.

Then we left for my appointment at 12:30. Hubby stopped to get the Tan truck, we drove that into town. Hubby left the Excursion at Mr. Tire.

Hubby dropped me off at my appointment. I got my nails done. I was finished by 2:45. I called Hubby to pick me up. It took him 30 minutes to get there from Post Falls.

Then we drove over to Post Falls and got hot dogs at Franko's Hot Dogs on Seltice. They were ok. not great.

Drove to Kal's to pick up the Jeep. It has not sold yet.

I drove Jeep home without license plates or registration, but I did not know that. I thought hubby had gotten it when he went into the office to get the keys.

Hubby went down to the shop to work from 3:30PM to 10PM.

I got home and got mail.

I put away laundry and dishes.

Gave ham to dogs. Put out fresh food and water for dogs & cats.

I took a nap.

Went outside and picked up dog poo.

Hubby got home at 10PM.

We watched Endeavour on PBS and went to bed at 11:30PM.

Had to take 1 Benadryl because both of us were suffering from allergy right before we went to bed.

RAINY AND COLD

THURSDAY
6-28-2018

Woke up to light rain and cold 50 degrees.

Not a very nice summer so far.

Got up at 6AM to potty; I fed the kitties some Tuna, then went back to bed until 6:30AM.

We got up. Hubby made eggs for breakfast. Fed eggs to dogs.

I made lattes.

Started laundry & dishes.

Put out the new 12"x12" stone walkway in the back.

Went to bank to discuss loan application. Provided paperwork to Loan Officer.

Drove to wash truck at Metro Express. Hubby had tires in the back, but we got thru anyway.

Stopped at Lowe's to purchase toilet lids. Not much choice there.

Purchased property For Sale signs at All American Signs of CDA. Religious music playing in background was creepy.

Went to Firehouse Subs to eat. Not very good. Too expensive.

Stopped at $1 Dollar Store to get scented gels for bathroom.

Drove to Bed, Bath, & Beyond to buy a couple Yankee Candles for the house.

Scheduled Carpet Cleaning with Stanley Steemer for Monday at 9AM. They answered their phone!

Stopped at Concrete place to see if they had a 6x12 brick, but they do not make them.

Shopped for groceries at Super One.

Drove home at 1PM.

Unloaded stuff. Both of us were tired. Hubby had lunch.

He took Wayne to the Post & Pole place to see if they would buy the wood on the West side of our property.

Hubby got back and was trying to nap, but got a call from Charles to go pick up a truck.

Hubby took the Excursion in to Richie's hauling a car and dropped it off. Then he went to Charles' to pick up the truck. Drove the truck down to the Post Falls shop.

I took a nap. Then got up at 5PM. Decided to mow the lawn. Picked up dog poop first.

After mowing the lawn, the Tan truck down at the shop was beeping its alarm! Hubby had not left the keys here!

I took a shower and dried my hair. Did laundry. Put away dishes.

Hubby went to KR's to pick up cherries & booze from this weekend.

Hubby got home at 8PM. We were both exhausted.

Walked the dogs down to the shop to get the Tan truck and drive it back.

Hubby had dinner.

Went to bed at 10:30PM.

JACK ASS FARRAGUT PARK

Got up late at 8AM to make lattes.

Hubby made eggs.

Wayne was already here.

Took dogs to Farragut Park to walk the road by Bayview. Some jackass ranger gave us a ticket for parking "outside" the park. Hubby took the bill to pay at the Ranger's office.

Came back and unloaded dogs.

Drove to Spokane to pick up parts at Hazard Fab. Then stopped to get chocolate shakes. Stopped at North 40 to get a plant for KR. Drove to her place of work and visited her. Met her boss and saw the shop.

Drove to the shop and dropped off parts.

Drove to Central Pre-Mix and picked up 55 blocks that were 12" square. I think we may need more.

Drove to Lancaster Market and got fuel in the Excursion.

Drove home.

Hubby had to stop at Charles' to look at a truck; then he had to take parts back down to the Post Falls shop. He watched Gauge at Stateline Speedway race at 10 years old in his first race.

I stayed home because my feet were splitting and it was difficult to walk on them. I put cream on them and sat on the sofa.

Hubby got home at 9:30PM.

We went to bed at 10:30PM.

TUESDAY

Last night was severely cold; down in the upper 40s.

Got up this morning and hubby had all the windows & doors open.

Hubby made eggs while I made latte for hubby.

Hubby made some phone calls.

Ken, the Realtor, came over at 8AM to change the price of the house and put up another sign.

He was here until 9AM.

Hubby started working on cutting cedar boards for front deck.

Planted plants outside in front circle driveway wine barrels.

Hubby went down to the shop at 6PM and stayed until 10PM to take Dan's truck in, but brought it back instead.

MONDAY
6-25-2018

I was up at 5AM to potty, then had no energy to climb the stairs, so I fell asleep on the sofa.

Went upstairs at 6:30AM. Wilson was on his back with all four feet in the air! Squished up against hubby's butt.

Got up at 7AM. Hubby had already gone to pick up Wayne, the logger, in Spirit Lake.

I made an egg sandwich for hubby and eggs for dogs. I made hubby's latte.

When he got back, hubby started doing more work with Wayne on the Chipper/Shredder at the front of the property, West of the garage.

They finally finished at 9AM. I gave hubby his drink. We packed his ziploc box with sandwich in the Excursion, hooked up the Chipper/Shredder and drove to Hayden.

Got fuel for the Chipper/Shredder at Lancaster Station. Too many curbs to pull around!

Returned equipment to 40 Rentals on Government Way.

Drove into CDA to Winco for groceries; got tuna, cleaning supplies, cheap cinnamon candles.

Called the Realtor, he will meet us at 8AM tomorrow morning to discuss relisting house at different price, bring more signs to put out by the road, and doing brochures.

Ken, the window repair guy called while we were shopping. He was at the house to measure the windows.

Drove home. Unloaded groceries. Ken, the window repair guy, was still at the house. He left as we came home.

Hubby hooked up the trailer. We drove north to Sandpoint via Hwy 41 (train stopped in Athol, had to turn around). Lots of construction all over.

Picked up 6 Cedar Boards $146. OMG. Have to replace boards on front deck.

Stopped at Home Depot and picked up a replacement toilet for down at the Blue Shop. Forgot to measure for toilet seats in the house! We also picked up 4 plants for the planters in front of the house.

Drove back home behind some chip truck that was throwing shreds of chips everywhere on the highway. It looked like a dust storm!

At home, unloaded purchases. Picked up mail. The FedEx guy was right behind us as we pulled in the driveway. Brought the Faleemi Camera that I purchased and the other TILE that I got because mine had died.

Hubby went down to the shop to load tires into Dan's truck.

I made lunch; tuna and apples.

I hooked up the Camera via Wi-Fi.

Wayne had some friends stop by and help him load the rest of the firewood into their truck & trailer.

Wayne & the guys left at 3PM.

Hubby came up and drank his latte that I made him. He had a quick nap on the sofa. Larry Jr kept calling to find out about parts at the shop.

Hubby left at 5:45PM to go attend a Union Meeting at MacKenzie River.

Then he will take Dan's truck to drop it off at the shop; pick up one of the trucks he wants to sell and bring it home.

I did laundry & dishes.

Ordered another Faleemi Camera from Amazon for KR so she can watch her dog from work.

Got up at 7AM.

Hubby was watching his automotive shows.

I made a latte for him.

He made eggs for the dogs.

Hubby went out to see if the Chipper/Shredder could be fixed. He took Ben with him down to the shop.

Hubby fixed the Chipper/Shredder.

I did laundry and dishes.

Turned on the A/C.

I cleaned up around the house.

He went to get Wayne in Spirit Lake.

While Hubby was gone, a white truck stopped at the driveway to look at the For Sale sign. They pulled in and then turned around. I hope they come look at the house to buy it.

Hubby arrived back with Wayne. They started working just outside the house grinding up branches they had put in piles.

We took dogs for a walk in Farragut Park at the Ranger Station. Walked down narrow paths.

Some guy with his dogs followed us back to the Excursion. It was creepy.

Drove home.

Hubby had dinner.

We watched some TV and went to bed early.

BELATED FATHER'S DAY ADVENTURE & CHIPPER SHREDDER

Got up at 6AM.

Hubby was making sausage. He also made eggs for dogs.

I got up and made him a latte.

We could not find Captain, the cat, this morning. We were afraid that he was gone. Finally, he came strolling out of the garage and played with his brothers out by the fire-pit.

Hubby went to get Wayne, the logger, in Spirit Lake. He took Ben with him.

Wilson cried the whole time that Ben was gone.

Hubby & Wayne came back and started working on using the Chipper/Shredder.

I did laundry & dishes. Got ready to leave.

I biked down to get hubby at 10AM. He cleaned up and we left by 10:30AM>

Ordered Keen Targhee II for hubby on Zappos

Drove to Post Falls. KR drove her Jeep to Spokane. We stopped to wash the Excursion, but they were busy. Hubby got another latte instead at the stand in front of the truck wash.

Then we drove to Spokane. Picked up KR at the Detail Shop.

Drove downtown to One Tree Brewing.

Had ciders and a pizza. Talked to the Servers.

Then drove to Spokane Valley to have our Family Pedicure at 2:30PM.

It was not as nice as last time. They hurried thru the pedicure and did not give us much attention because they were busy.

Wayne, the logger, called to let hubby know that the Chipper/Shredder was not working. Wayne went home. Hubby called the Rental store to return it on Monday.

We dropped KR off at the Detail Shop to pick up her Jeep. She had problems with her radio because they knocked out a XXX, so had to stay a while. We got to her home before she did and walked Beebo. He had to take a swim at the Fountain.

Drove over to CDA to eat dinner at Olive Garden. It was OK, but they seated us at a crooked table. I had to change seats. Some old people were staring at us from across the aisle. Then I ordered Ranch on my salad. Everybody laughed at me the whole meal. It was a family joke.

We left after some family was seated next to us with EIGHT FUCKING KIDS! omg. Repopulate the earth by yourselves! They kicked and knocked my chair about 6 times. One more time and I was going to blow up!

So we got fuel at Costco before they closed.

Then drove to Post Falls for Family Trivia night at DownDraft. But they were not hosting it so we left after one drink.

Drove to KR's house and she got Beebo and followed us to our house so we could walk the dogs in the park.

Loaded everybody into the Excursion and walked dogs at the Brig in the park. It was getting dark.

Drove by the new post office when we returned. Such an odd building set up with curbs everywhere.

KR left and we ate the leftovers of our Olive Garden meal.

Went to bed at 11:30PM.

RAINY DAY PART 2

FRIDAY
6-22-2018

Cats woke us up at 1AM because the black cat brought a pretty blue bird inside the dog door and dropped it; the bird was dead. Hubby had to pick it up and throw it away.

We settled back into bed again. About 15 minutes later, Rattler was banging around in the spare bedroom. He had gotten a mouse. The mouse was dead. Hubby had to get up and throw the mouse outside.

Got up at 6AM and made latte for hubby.

He had already given tuna to the cats.

Hubby made eggs for himself and the dogs.

Hubby left for work at 6:50AM.

I did laundry and dishes. Cleaned up the house.

Vacuumed.

Took a nap.

It rained today.

At 2PM, Wayne, the logger, came on a motorcycle. Wilson barked at him.

I went outside to pick up dog poo.

Hubby got home at 5PM. He rented a Chipper/Shredder for the weekend.

We could not take the dogs for a walk because it rained again.

Woke up hot and sweaty.

Hubby had already turned on the A/C.

I got up at 6AM and made eggs for dogs; egg sandwich for hubby.

Hubby fed the dogs, then sat down to watch Shaun The Sheep.

I made a latte for hubby.

Hubby left at 6:50AM, had to stop at Charles' on the way to work to diagnose another truck there.

Hubby called Wayne and told him not to come today. We decided that the mulcher guy was not working out. Decided that hubby should rent a chipper/shredder for a week so that Wayne can work on that with the piles of wood that has been cut.

I changed dog food & water.

Did some vacuuming.

Started laundry and dishes. Did 3 loads of laundry, including our bed pillows.

 It rained.

Some birds decided that they wanted to make their home in the side of our house, near the NE corner.

Hubby got home at 5PM.

We took the dogs to the Park for a walk.

Came back home. I made chicken breasts and rice.

Hubby made his cucumber salad.

We watched Preacher.

Went to bed at 11:30PM.

WEDNESDAY
6-20-2018

Got up at 6AM; made latte for hubby; He warmed up eggs that he had already made previously.

Hubby left for work after watching Shaun The Sheep.

I think I had Heat Stroke from yesterday because I could not get moving. I barely had any energy to put dishes away; started laundry.

Then I fell asleep for 2 hours on the sofa.

I got up and put away laundry.

Cleaned up dog water & food.

Went down to get mail and paid Wayne for working; he was cutting trees at shop.

I took Wayne home at 2PM. It was very hot.

Drove back home and took another nap.

Lane H stopped by with his little dog and gave me a key for a truck that he had brought by for hubby to diagnose.

I watched hubby on GPS tracking and took the dogs down to the shop to say Hello when he got home, but instead he went to Charle's to look at a truck to fix. The dogs and I walked back home.

Hubby finally got home at 6PM.

I changed hubby's lenses out on his Used Oakleys.

What A Stunner!

Hubby had to go down to the shop to meet Casey when he brought back the trailer. There was also a truck down at the shop that Lane had dropped off which they had to diagnose.

I rode my bike down to the shop. Ben was with hubby. I reminded hubby that it was time to take dogs for a walk as it had cooled down to 70 degrees now.

Then we loaded dogs up and took them for a walk in Farragut Park along the Brig. Halfway thru the way, some idiots in the park had decided to burn their PLASTIC in a firepit and the toxic fumes were drifting thru the park. We turned around and went back to the Excursion.

Drove home.

Hubby had dinner.

He fell asleep on the sofa.

We went to bed at 11:30PM.

TUESDAY
JUNE 19 2018

Got up early.

Hubby took out all the garbage.

He put away clean laundry; mostly it was all his that we washed last night.

I made eggs for the dogs; and an egg sandwich for hubby.

I made latte for hubby.

Hubby went down to open the big grey shop and leave the blue shop unlocked.

Then I cleaned up the rest of the house. Going over everything with cleaner. Cleaning windows and countertops.

A Realtor was scheduled to come by at 10:30AM to show the house. 

I waited until 10AM and then loaded the dogs into the Excursion. We drove to Farragut Park and took a walk around the road by Bayview. We walked to the Tree-to-Tree Adventure park. I gave the dogs some water in a big bowl that they had up by the Pavilion. Then we walked back. Ben was really tired by the end of the walk. He was hanging tongue & dragging behind me. Wilson kept pulling the whole way, but he was also hanging tongue. I stopped several times to give them water.

We got back to the Excursion by 11:45. Drove back home. Got mail at the post box.

Then I came inside and made chicken for lunch. Had orange juice and lots of water.

Watched TV for a while; then took a nap until 3PM. I was exhausted. Everything hurt. Probably stress.

I put away clothes.

Drank more water.

ANOTHER MONDAY

MONDAY
6-18-2018

I had to take a couple Benadryl last night as I was bit up again by mosquitoes while working in the back yard.

Got up at 7AM; hubby had already left by then.

I made eggs for dogs. Hubby had already given tuna to the cats.

Hubby had a Nerve Test at the Doctor office at 8:15AM.

I did laundry and dishes.

Katrina brought a delivery via UPS.

I went down to get mail.

Then the FedEx truck stopped by with a delivery. The green seat cushion that I had purchased.

Hubby got home about 5PM; he had to stay after work for a while to make up for the time that he went to the Doctor in CDA for his Nerve Testing. The Doctor said that his nerve paralysis is progressing.

Hubby had to get the motor from the burnt truck out of the way, he had to move Lane's dead truck out of the way from the front of the shop.

I cleaned the white door on the shop. It is so shiny and clean now.

Hubby worked with the borrowed tractor and pulled new gravel over the big oil spot at the shop; then he scraped the driveway to pull out the holes.

I worked cleaning the house. Vacuumed everything; Cleaned everything with Clorox Wipes. Put away everything that was pet related. Steam cleaned the floors.

Hubby took a shower. He was aching everywhere.

I was exhausted at this point. Took a hot bath and made hot tea to drink with some Tramadol. I rubbed hubby's neck and back for a little while, but my hands were pretty much numb.

We had a little dinner and went to bed.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! 

Woke up at 4AM to potty. Went back to bed.

Hubby got up early. I got up at 7AM to make lattes.

Hubby made eggs for dogs. Gave tuna to cats. All the cats came running.

Hubby had a 30 minute rest on the sofa after breakfast.

Then I researched purchasing a new refrigerator because buying one is cheaper than repairing the one that we have. 

Found a decent fridge at Lowe's.

We loaded the dogs in the tan truck, loaded up garbage and left. Loaded up the fabric lawn cover & plastic from the backyard & the garbage cans.

Stopped at the dump and unloaded garbage.

Drove to Farragut and walked around the Brig area. My knee started hurting really bad. The sun was shining and it was warmer. 

Got a text from Lane H, Happy Father's Day.

Hubby stopped at the Latte stand in Athol. Wished Skinny Danny a Happy Father's Day.

Because there were no cars at Lil Town Market, we stopped there to pick up a gallon of milk, ice, bottled water, Starbucks latte and lottery tickets.

Then we came home. Unloaded truck. Took dogs inside. Gave dogs fresh water.

Hubby hauled burnable junk from behind the garage down to the pit, I separated out some planters that could be donated. We took the dog watering bucket out of the hole in the backyard.

Hubby and I took more garbage from the shop down to the dump.

Bought Fridge oneline from Lowes; special Father's Day Sale. 

Wayne started using the tractor to pull out the mulch and branches from behind the dog fence. 

Joe loaded more wood in his truck. 

Hubby fixed the fire pit where the mulcher guy had run over and wrecked a couple blocks.

Hubby rested at 2:30PM and watched some automotive shows.

I ordered hubby some replacement lenses on Amazon for his new Oakley sunglasses.

Wayne was using the tractor out back instead of doing what hubby had requested. He got the tractor stuck, so hubby had to go out there and get it upstuck (put it in 4WD). 

Joe & Wayne loaded up several cords of wood on Joe's truck.

We had dinner late; hubby started to fall asleep on the sofa.

We went to bed at 10:30PM.

Ben woke me up when he was out in the back yard barking at something for over 30 minutes at 3AM. I had to potty then get him to come inside. I did not see anything with my flashlight.

SATURDAY

We are supposed to get so much done this weekend. But one word spoils everything.

RAIN.

It is raining AGAIN on the weekend.

I got up at 7AM to make latte for hubby.

Hubby had already been up for an hour and was watching his automotive shows & surfing his iPad.

Hubby got up to make eggs for dogs. He gave tuna to the cats.

I cleaned up after breakfast, started laundry & dishes.

Hubby worked on cleaning up the yard all day with the tractor he borrowed from Chris

I cleaned up the house. Vacuumed. Did laundry and dishes.

Went down to get mail at the mailbox.

Made more latte for hubby.

Helped hubby find his latte cup that had fallen off the tractor. He had also lost his keys so we tried to find them. Found them in the door of the shop.

Wayne & Joe came around 6pm to pick up a load of logs from out in the woods and cleaned out the rest of the logs from the shop.

Hubby stopped working around 7PM when it got darker.

He washed his hair and sat down to dinner. We watched TV for a very short time and went to bed early. I had taken several Benadryl because I had gotten bitten lots of times by mosquitoes.

I took a Benadryl last night so that I could sleep. I AM COVERED IN MOSQUITO BITES.

Got up late this morning at 7:30AM. Hubby had already left. I felt him kiss me and pat my hair before he left.

I texted him and told him I was awake.

I started laundry & dishes.

Made eggs for dogs.

Made a latte for myself.

Gave dogs clean water & food.

Hubby got paid today. I reviewed the bank info.

When KR was taking horse riding lessons long ago, I had to wait for her at the woman's house. This elderly woman had TONS of cats everywhere and a couple of them loved to sleep on the washer & dryer. So I made a vow that I would have cats that could sleep on my washer & dryer someday. And here is Joey, sleeping on the dryer!

I vacuumed and cleaned house.

Went down to get junk mail.

Took Wayne, the logger home at 12:30PM in the Excursion.

Came back and took a nap on the sofa.

Hubby came home at 6PM after going to the Post Falls shop.

We took the dogs for a walk in Farragut Park by the house.

Came back and made dinner. Watched TV. Went to bed at 10:30PM.

SEPTIC PUMPED

Clouds & Hot, Clouds & Hot, Rain. Dark Clouds All Day

Got up at 2AM. Hit with Endo pains. Horrible. Tried to take a bath, aspirins, but no relief. Slept on the sofa for a while, pains came back. Got up at 4AM and went upstairs to sleep. Had to get up again. More pains.

Gave tuna to the cats. They ate it up right away.

Hubby got up at 6AM. I made eggs for dogs, Bagel egg sandwich for hubby.

Made lattes.

Hubby sat and watched Shaun the Sheep then left for work at 6:50AM.

I had to sit and rest for a while. I am SO exhausted.

B&B Sani Kans came out to pump septic at 9:30AM. He originally drove past and had to turn around at George's driveway. Tony was really nice. We talked about dogs.

I went down to get the mail.

I tried taking a nap at 3:30 because I got no sleep last night.

Cat woke me up because he was eating DOG FOOD. Crunching so loudly!

I had only been resting for 30 minutes.

A huge sparrow came into the house and was beating itself against the tallest window on the right side. It would not fly out again. I left the door open.

Hubby went to Pohl Springs in Spokane, then the Post Falls shop. Then came home at 8PM. We took the dogs for a walk in the park at the Brig.

My knee was bothering had to turn around.

Came back home. Hubby stopped at the shop because Joe was loading wood from the big grey shop; hubby gave him money to give to Wayne.

The door was still open to let the bird out while we were gone. It must have finally flown out!

We watched Youtube videos on Roku; then went to bed at 10PM.

Another cold day.

Woke up to 40 degrees instead of 35.

I made hubby's latte, egg sandwich, eggs for dogs.

Hubby gave tuna to cats.

Dave R called and talked to hubby while he was getting ready for work.

Hubby left at 6:50 after hugging me & Ben.

I did laundry. Did dishes. Vacuumed.

Left at 11:50. Drove to Athol and had to park out front, so many cars there. Only 3 people inside. I mailed the t-shirt box & envelopes. Forgot to mail Bruce's J.D. stuff.

Stopped at Jitterz in Hayden for a hot white coffee latte.

Drove to Azure Salon. Met hubby and gave him Jeep stuff and Jeep title. He had to leave because some bitch came out of the Chiro's place on her phone and started looking at his truck... He can't even take lunch anyplace because people get suspicious of a work truck!

I talked to him on the phone for quite a while and then went inside at 1:00. My appointment was not until 1:30, but Windy took me early. Talked to Rachelle.

Left 3:00 after getting my eyelash extensions.

Drove to get groceries at Albertson's. Got milk, dog bones. But forgot to look for Guacamole!

Picked up slider roast beef at Wendy's. Drove home.

Hubby got home shortly after I did; Rattler cat jumped up on counter and tried to eat the roast beef sandwiches before I could give them to dogs. I ended up spilling the tuna on the floor that I had just put out. Bad cat.

Hubby sat with me on the couch. I gave him the 2 roast beef sliders that I had purchased.

Hubby ran down to the shop at 5:30PM  when the guys came to buy the rest of the parts.

Hubby came back at 7PM.

We watched TV. Hubby fell asleep at 8PM. We went to bed at 10PM.

TUESDAY

WHY IS IT SO COLD OUTSIDE?

Only 35 ° when we woke up this morning.

Hubby made eggs. I made latte for hubby. Hubby fed tuna to cats.

He left for work at 6:50AM. Took the tan truck to work.

I fed eggs to dogs.

Wayne was here all day today cutting in the woods by the grey shop.

I was tired. Rested on the sofa for a while.

Did laundry and dishes.

He had accidentally driven his work truck thru Rathdrum on the way home instead of going to the Prairie Avenue building to get his own truck. He had to drive all the way back.

Deer came late tonight.

Hubby took Ben with him to meet the guy from Chuck's Gears down at the shop. The guy bought some of hubby's parts.

Deposited the check when hubby got home.

Casey came over in his Mustang. I told hubby "no burnouts". We want the road to look nice to sell it.

Hubby finally came up to the house at 9PM.

We watched some TV and went to bed.

MONDAY
JUNE 11 2018

As usual, the weather here just sucks. Woke up to 39 degrees this morning.

Hubby called up to me in the bedroom to let me know that the baby moose was back again.

I got up to make him a latte.

Hubby fed our last 2 apples to the moose. Have to get more tonight.

I was deathly tired again. Can't seem to get going in the mornings.

Hubby left at 6:50AM.

I gave dogs turkey from the turkey breast I had thawed.

Rattler came on the couner to get some turkey.

Wayne, the logger got here at 7:30 to start cutting down trees. I told him to work down by the shop because it is getting too thin around the house now.

Moose Again

I watched a show call KEDI about cats in Istanbul living freely within the community.

Katrina with UPS came and delivered all 3 of the Chainsaw cluthes that I had ordered for Wayne.

Joey tried to get up in the UPS van.

I went down to get the post at the mailbox. Talked to Wayne. Wayne said he had talked with the neighbor. I told Wayne about his clutches that came via UPS.

I came back to the house, took a nap.

Wayne left at 4PM.

Made chicken later at 4:30PM.

Hubby called to say that the Jeep was sold to some guy in Missoula, MT.

Checked the MLS listing and the house is listed. Pics are not very good.

Beebo & A Friend Looking Happy

Got up at 4AM to potty. Everything hurt. My left knee is still swollen. My foot hurts.

Then back to bed until 7:30 when Wilson jumped on us and Ben came into our room. Zim was sleeping on hubby's leg all night. Poor Rattler had to sleep on the bare carpet instead of his soft pillow against the wall.

We got up and I made latte for hubby. Hubby made eggs for dogs. He gave tuna to the cats.

We walked the dogs in Farragut at the Brig. We tried to walk at the house road, but there was some older woman there with her dog. Nevada license plate.

Walked a short way at the Brig, then turned around. My leg was hurting.

We drove back home.

Hubby talked to the Mulcher guy (who had brought 2 other guys to help him). Also talked to Joe & Wayne who were here doing more logging.

Hubby loaded up things at the blue shop to take down to Post Falls shop. He left at Noon.

I took a nap on the sofa until 2:30PM. I was exhausted.

Hubby got home at 4PM. He worked at the blue shop and then came home.

He took a shower and cleaned up cat litter downstairs. The mouse remains are still being flushed out of the rim of the toilet. Yuck.

I was very tired. Hubby fell asleep on the sofa. We went to bed at 10PM.

It started raining about midnight. Lots of thunder and lightning.

I had to get up twice to potty. It was AGONY to come down the stairs. My left leg felt like it was on backwards!

At 6:30AM, we woke up. Rain was still coming down.

Hubby decided to stay home and rest. It did not take much to talk him into staying home. He was exhausted from being so busy these last 2 weeks.

He made eggs for the dogs. He gave tuna to the kitties.

I made lattes.

We sat and watched Malcolm in The Middle. Hubby surfed YouTube videos on racing trucks.

By 11PM, my left leg was finally feeling better. I had taken more aspirin and was sitting on a heating pad.

Cat slept inside all day because of Rain.

Hubby and I stayed home most of the day.

We took off at 2PM to go pick up the backhoe from Chad, I left hubby there and drove home. He texted me that I had to come back and pick him up as the backhoe was not working. Chad had to order a part to fix it and it will be ready Monday night.

I picked up hubby and we drove to Spirit Lake to get fuel and stop at the Liquor store there. Hubby picked up a cheap Kahula instead of the name-brand (I discovered this way, way later when I wanted to have a drink while taking a hot bath; needless to say, he bought the cheap crap kind and I was upset).

Then we drove back to Super One in Athol to pick up milk and some other things. Meatballs, (still out of guacamole). Saw Shirley McFadden there (from GTE) and talked to her for a while.

We came home and unloaded groceries. Hubby made dinner.

We watched TV and went to bed at 10PM. Both exhausted.

JUNE 8 2018

Got up at 6:30, dressed, made bed.

Hubby took the ladder upstairs, and the massage chair downstairs.

I made eggs for dogs & hubby. One egg broke, so I gave it raw to Ben. Good for his coat.

Then I made toast & guacamole for myself, with coffee.

Made latte for hubby.

He took Ben with him and drove over to Spirit Lake to pick up Wayne.

I cleaned house while hubby moved the Bronco from in front of the shop. He did not have time to do anything else because he had to put oil in the Bronco, put fuel in the Bronco, jump start it.

So the shop area still looks like poopy ka-ka.

But the house is doing ok.

Wayne finished the gate in the fence.

Wayne and hubby put bark nuggets everywhere in the backyard.

Hubby had to run to CDA at 1PM to pick up more bark nuggets because they ran out.

I kept the puppies inside with me all day because the guys took the fence down in the back yard to work.

Hubby got back at 1:45 with more nuggets and put them everywhere around the trees. It started looking really nice. The gate was finiahed by the entryway.

I fell off the top two steps on the deck while carrying a tote to hand off to hubby that was stacking them in the garage. My left leg just buckled on me and I went down. Could not do anything after that.

I went inside and took a hot bath. Took many aspirin.

Ken arrived at approximately 3PM and took pictures of the house, then got information about the listing. He then went down by the shops and got pictures there.

BEN and WILSON were SO very good while Ken was here. They did not bark and him. They even slept on the floor the entire time he was here! I am so proud of them!

Ken finally left at 6:45PM after he and hubby planted the "For Sale" sign down by the mailbox.

Ken came back about 15 minutes later. He had forgotten to have us sign in a couple places.

Finally, he was gone so that hubby and I could rest, relax, eat dinner. Hubby had already fallen asleep on the sofa by 7PM.

We went to bed at 10PM.

Got up at 7AM.

Hubby and I went to pick up Wayne in Spirit Lake.

Brought him to our house.

From 9AM - 2PM, we worked on cleaning out rooms.

Took a load of garbage to the dump.

Picked up Green Apple Gatorade for Wayne.

Larry came over to load our old flagstones with the forklift. He had his little girl with him in the truck.

Stopped at Jitterz and got a lava hot latte.

We had to go into CDA to take donations to Goodwill.

Goodwill in Hayden would not take our rocking chairs or dog beds or office chair.

We had to drive to the dump on Kathleen to get rid of that stuff. Some guy that was dumping things next to us said he would take it all.

We left the dump and drove to Home Depot. They did NOT have any bark nuggets. (YOU are a bark nugget!) The girl there said that nobody in town had any. We did pick up a plant for the entryway, a lightbulb for the front door, and fence materials for the gate.

So we got nuggets at Reed Products. Had the dump trailer with us and loaded it with 4 yards.

We got home at 4PM. Wayne had already gone by then.

We unloaded by shovel and spread the bark nuggets out front.

Then hubby put bark nuggets around the front door entryway.

I carried rocks to edge it with from out by the firepit.

Hubby left to go to the Post Falls shop.

I dragged myself inside and took a shower.

Hubby returned from the shop at 9PM.

We drove into CDA and sold a used core to a guy named Joe who was staying at the Fairfield Inn. Really nice guy.

Then we were both hungry and drove over to Shari's for dinner. Hubby had breakfast eggs and pancakes. I had the turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes. Really weird brown color gravy. Potatoes were ultra hot.

We shared coconut cream pie for dessert.

Drove to Walmart to shop for canned air (which they did not have), bar & chain oil (which they did not have), bananas, cherries, aspirin, Lysol spray.

EVERYTHING GOES WRONG TODAY

Got up at 7AM. Hubby had already hooked up the trailer to go get the helicopter truck in Sandpoint.

Made latte for hubby.

Dressed and got dogs ready.

Hubby came back with the Excusion on the trailer. We loaded dogs.

Drove up to Sandpoint.

Fiasco at North 40 over Chainsaw not on sale. Betty; Sales person on phone. Waited 20 minutes while she "started the chainsaw" in the backroom. Had to grab a guy to go find her after 20 minutes. Never started chainsaw we learned later...

Hubby goes to pay while I go walk dogs for potty.

It took another 20 minutes, so I go to check on hubby at the checkout. He FINALLY comes out and he is PISSED. They would not give him the sale price and kept telling him that he could not get it. He finally just got so frustrated that he left after paying. These people are JERKS.

Hubby had gone to CDA North 40 to return chainsaw.

Hubby had repaired his prosthetic device at ADAPT. The insurance will not cover a 2nd boot until 5 years have passed.

Hubby went to Post Falls shop to pay rent, utilities, pick up parts, and take care of business.

After hubby picked me up, we drove to Spokane Valley via Post Falls and thru Liberty Lake.

Traffic was backedup on I-90 from Post Falls to Liberty Lake.

Got burgers at 5 Guys. My order was wrong. When it was re-made, there was no apology. The burger was hot as lava. Burnt my mouth on the grease.

Could not eat my burger. We left.

Drove to S&J Automotive in downtown Spokane. 4:30PM. Got paid by check. Deposited check via online banking.

Hubby ordered parts from Auto store in Spokane, no time for them to make parts before 5pm.

We drove home via Trent. Texas car beeped at us thru the narrow passage of overpass in downtown Spokane.

Stopped at Home Depot to pick up Light Bulbs (samples had broken in my purse which I had carried around for over a week. I got a piece of glass in my thumb trying to clean out purse). Purchased Wood Chips for yard; 22 bags. Waited around 20 minutes for forklift, finally a young man came out to hand-load the chips in the truck that hubby pulled around.

Drove to Dagny's on Trent. Got lattes. Mine had to be re-made twice because barista got order wrong. Finally gave it to me luke-warm. Yuck.

Drove home.

At home, we greeted dogs. I gave them ham. Cats got cut up ham.

Then we unloaded wood chips on front yard.

Hubby was upset about sand on the stepping stones, he swept it off. Finally made it look presentable. Put more rocks at the edge of where rocks started. We put down wood chips. Need to purchase more tomorrow.

I went to take a shower. Hubby took trailer down to the shop and unhooked it.

Called KR and told her about our day. She told us that her boss had back surgery. She was putting out fires at work with the engineers.

I paid for Motorcycle Insurance for hubby thru Progressive.

We watched TV and went to bed.

TUESDAY
JUNE 5 2018

Got up at 7AM.

Made latte for hubby.

Hubby made eggs for dogs & himself.

We took the dogs for a walk in Farragut Park - down by the house road near Bayview.

Came back and the Mulcher guy was here.

I started mowing at 10AM.

Hubby started hauling loads down to Richie's. He had about 3 loads.

The Window Repair guy came. I had to let him in the house. He did not have a ladder, so could not measure the top windows. He said he will come back.

I finished mowing the frontage at 3PM.

I came in the house and took a shower. I was exhausted. My hands were burnt. I had worn a long sleeve shirt to protect myself.

Hubby came home and had lunch. Then he left for the Post Falls shop to work on Kal's Volvo.

Hubby got home at 8PM. He had dinner. The Mulcher guy left; hubby went down to the shop to talk to him.

Hubby fell asleep on the sofa. We went to bed at 10PM.

MONDAY
JUNE 4 2018

Got up at 7AM. Still no Zim. He did not come jump on our bed. Wilson slept with us most of the night.

We got up, and Zim was sleeping on the red chairs downstairs with Captain.

Thank goodness he is alive!

Hubby made eggs for dogs & egg sandwich for himself.

I made him a latte, and tea for me. I was going to take a hot bath, but I got too sweaty before, so decided against it.

It is cooler and windy outside.

Hubby went to get Wayne at 7:30am.
 
When they got back, we took the dogs for a walk in Farragut Park by the Brig. Loaded the dogs into the Excursion. Had to take them out the back way, thru the fence gate because the sand was so messy where hubby was working. I did not want dogs tracking sand into the house.

We stopped at Super One to pick up milk and mouse traps. We forgot to get ice.

I picked up some white toenail polish to give myself a french manicure.

Tried to find something to eat, but their breakfast buffet looked awful. They had no other food for breakfast.

We made our purchases, loaded them into the Excursion. Wilson acted like I had been gone FOREVER. He was whine/squealing.

Drove home past the burnt down building in Athol.

At home, we unloaded groceries. The milk shelf fell out of the fridge and spilled milk out of the measuring cup. I had to clean that up off the floor.

Hubby drove to Joe's to drop off transmission/rear end then took Wayne to find a new piece for his chain saw at Spirit Lake, but they did not have it. So they returned home.

We took the Tan truck to Rathdrum, picked up a Jitterz latte for me. Drove to CDA to find the replacement clutch for Wayne's saw. Nobody in town had it. We stopped at American Mower & Saw; then we went to Tractor Supply Center, CDA Tractor, and finally to Seright's Ace Hardware in Rathdrum. I ordered the part on Amazon and it will be delivered Wednesday. We already spent too much in gasoline just running around looking for a part that nobody has and will "order" for us.

We drove back to CDA and filled hubby's Oxygen and Acetylene bottles at A-L Compressed Gases. Then we drove home on Hwy 95.

Stopped to pick up the trailer dump bed at Mike Cutler's house. Dwayne had to come out and lend us a floor jack to pick up the trailer. We got loaded and drove home. Had to wait for 2 trains and buses for kids.

Got home, and hubby had to take Wayne home.

Gave dogs clean water, opened up the house to let cool air inside.

I took stuff to the basement.

Hubby got back and then drove down to Post Falls to work at shop.

He got back later. Then we had dinner and went to bed.

SUNDAY AND MORE HOME IMPROVEMENTS

Got up at 7AM. I had a headache beer hangover. Took some aspirin.

Made latte for hubby. Hubby made eggs for dogs & egg sandwich for himself on a croissant.

Fed tuna to cats.

Hubby watched automotive shows until 9AM.

I checked the Special Olympics Washington Puget Sound Dream House Raffle to see if we had won anything. We did not. We are losers. Not even a candy bar. This is the 2nd year in a row that we have lost.

Went out and looked at all the mulched trees.

Hubby started working on the walkway. It took him until 3PM.

We kept taking breaks and drinking water.

At 2PM, we took the dump truck down to Garwood. Hubby forgot the tailgate. The guy had to come get it with his trailer.

We stopped for ice cream at Lil Town Market on the way back. The lady broke my waffle cone, and put it in a bowl instead. Hubby got espresso java chip.

Drove home and started working again.

Hubby mowed the dog yard at 5PM. I went inside and took a shower. I hurt everywhere. I was exhausted.

We watched some TV and went to bed at 9:30PM.

Zim did NOT come tuck us in our bed tonight. We were very worried about him.

I called for him at Midnight, he still would not show up. The other cats came running.

I went back to bed, certain that he was dead.

MULCHING AND CUTTING

SATURDAY

Got up at 6:45AM.

Hubby was already up. He had made eggs for dogs and fed tuna to all 4 cats. He said the cats were all in the kitchen and had let him pet them.

When I woke up, Zim was sleeping on me, holding me down! He is such a sweet kitty.

Hubby called Wayne, the logger, to see if he needed a ride from his home this morning.

I got up and made a latte for hubby.

He went outside and hooked the Excursion up to the trailer.

Ben spent all day helping. He ran down to the shop, he helped the guys pick up parts at the shop, he slept in the Excursion, he helped the Loggers. Wayne, the logger brought Ben up to the house because they were scared a tree would fall on him.

Wilson stayed at home and whined because Ben was not around.

I moved the bowl of grain for the deer to the lower deck so that the mulcher would not damage it.

Hubby went to pick up Wayne at 10AM. Joe came with his truck later to help. They were cutting trees until 1PM.

Then Hubby took Wayne home because he was exhausted. It was a long, hot day.

Hubby helped the guy buying his parts to load. He was down at the shop from 9AM to 3PM.

At 2PM, he came up to the house and took a shower, changed clothes.

We took the Excursion at 4PM to Post Falls and got it washed at the Big Truck Wash. Stopped at The Grind Latte stand afterwards to get drinks. Hubby got iced coffee, I got a Jet Tea.

Then we went to pick up KR. Saw our Jeep for sale at Kal's Auto Sales as we drove past.

Picked up KR and Beebo. Took them to Yoke's. KR got California Roll. Hubby and I got sandwiches. We also found the Orange Cider from One Tree in their refrigerated section.

Bought peanuts to eat at the Trivia.

Drove to Down Draft for Family Trivia Night. However, there were already 2 kids there, which made Beebo nervous.

Then some more players brought their 5 kids in with them. HOW DO PEOPLE THINK THAT A BAR THAT ONLY SERVES LIQUOR TO ADULTS IS AN ACCEPTABLE PLACE TO BRING CHILDREN???

With the kids running around, it made the experience not a great one.

We got done with trivia, and then drove to Walmart. Picked up totes there. KR said the memorable phrase "I only wanted to get drunk with my parents!"

We took KR and Beebo home.

We drove home.

Dogs were happy to see us. We watched TV and went to bed. I had a headache.

Got up at 7AM; made latte & breakfast eggs. Eggs for dogs. Egg sandwich for hubby.

Hubby went to pick up Wayne after calling him to make sure he was coming today because it was raining.

Hubby got back and we loaded up the dogs into the Excursion.

Drove to Post Falls to pick up Beebo. Stopped along the way and talked to Dave 2.0 in the subdivision behind KR's home.

Picked up Beebo at 9:10AM. Drove the back way and down Seltice to Apryl's Dog House.

Dropped off the dogs in the back room after we pottied them outside. Made sure they had fresh water to drink.

Drove to Winco to pick up Tuna for kitties.

Then we drove over to Panera to pick up a Bacon Spinach Souffle. Stopped at Golden Glo for a fruit smoothie for hubby and Jitterz for a latte for me.

Drove home.

Hubby took Wayne to Spirit Lake with a load of wood.

Then he called the window repair guy to fix our windows on Monday.

I tried cleaning the windows out front with Alcohol, but it did not work very well.

Hubby took a 20 minute "power nap".

I biked down to get the mail at the box. There was a large envelope from the USPS telling us that our mail had been stolen and they had found it. The 2 pieces of mail were from over a year ago!

Hubby helped me move the dining table back near the windows.

Hubby took Wayne to Spirit Lake with another load of wood in the dump truck.

Hubby piled up stuff to take to Richie's.

I washed the dog bed. I did a couple loads of laundry. I did a load of dishes.

Then at 2:30, I called to see if the dogs were ready. Apryl's daughter, Kendall told me that they were ready.

We drove into CDA to pick up the dogs. Wilson was squeaking, he was so happy to see us. They all smelled like ICE CREAM CONES! Wilson was SO black, so very pretty. Ben's brown came out after his bath.

Stopped at Goodwill to drop off donations. Then we went across the street in front of Ace Hardware to mail our mail.

We drove to Beebo's house via Seltice. An accident blocked us on the turn to Hwy 41.

We drove home via Greensferry.

At home, hubby took Wayne to Spirit Lake with another load full of wood in the dump truck.

I had a snack for lunch. Then I gave a few pieces of shrimp to the dogs. They took a nap.

I put pillows from our bed into the laundry.

Hubby kept loading parts and hauling.

He made a couple more trips to Spirit Lake with logs.

When he came home, we had dinner and went to bed.
