DECEMBER 31 2014
Happy Birthday to me.
Woke up at 7:30; got up and made the bed.
Made breakfast eggs for dogs. Hubby gave me a card & a lighted cupcake. He sang "Happy Birthday" song to me. He gave me a present- a couple boxes of ammo for my gun and a box of ammo for his rifle in a small metal ammo box.
Hubby ate his egg sandwich. We watched an episode of the Marathon Twilight Zone. KRN texted happy birthday to me.
Got mail. Hubby started a fire in the shop. It is very cold this morning; only 2 degrees.
Drove to town with the dogs. Got lattes. Then took the dogs to the campground in the park to walk. It was snowing. We talked about the mother who got shot by her own son in Walmart the other day. Talked about gun safety.
We drove down to feed ducks, but only 1 duck & 1 Canadian goose were there. Drove back home and 2 County Sheriff's cars, 2 Kootenai Electric trucks, the Fire Dept truck were down at the gas station in town surrounding a white car!
At home, hubby dropped us off and he went to the shop to meet a guy to pick up a truck.

1 Day to My Birthday
TUESDAY
12-30-2014
Woke up this morning when hubby went out to start his truck. Lil Bit jumped out of the bed and landed with a thud on the floor!
Maggie followed me down the stairs and hubby was there with a flashlight to help her see the stairs.
Only 2 degrees this morning!
I made cheese eggs for the dogs; hubby had an egg sandwich on wheat buns. Then he fixed the fireplace that went out again. We really need to get that fixed permanently.
Hubby left after we hugged the dogs; it was too cold to see him out.
I started laundry & dishes.
Went outside at 1:00PM to feed the deer.
Vacuumed the house.

Countdown To Birthday

MONDAY
Only 2 days til my birthday!
Got up at 6AM and made breakfast eggs for dogs; a breakfast sandwich for hubby. He left at 7:08 after watching morning news.
I did laundry and dishes.
After taking 4 allergy pills, I STILL can't fall asleep. I am so tired that my eyes feel full of sand.
Went out at 1PM to feed deer and get mail. Just junk mail. Boo.
Called KRN and talked to her. Texted her around 3PM.
Called City Service Valcon to come fill our propane tank. They said maybe out around Wednesday.
Put ham in the oven around 3:30PM.
Hubby came home at 6:00 after working OT.

SNOW DAY

I did not get any sleep at all last night with the pain killer. Had hallucinations, night fears, and insomnia. Will not take that ever again.
Slept on the couch last night on heating pad because I had thrown out my back from shoveling yesterday.
Finally got 1 hour of sleep from 7-8AM. Ben jumped in bed with me. Hubby had already left the bed at 7AM and was sleeping on the couch. Lil Bit was sleeping there with him.
Got downstairs and made breakfast eggs for dogs. Hubby had eggs & leftovers.
There was an additional 4 inches of snow from last night after the final time we shoveled.
Then he got dressed. He shoveled both decks and knocked snow off the trees in the back yard. I walked with him out there. I went out to get deer bowls and Ben, Maggie, & Bud ran into the woods with me. Ben went to the shop with hubby so that he could plow snow.

WINTER STORM WARNING

Got up at 7:30; made egg breakfast for dogs. Made 2 egg sandwiches for hubby. Then we got dressed and headed down to town for lattes.
Took dogs to walk in park around road on campground side. It was lightly snowing.
Drove back home and hubby got out at the shop. I took dogs down and unloaded them. I took down the winter decorations outside - the deer, the snowman, the dogs, and the holiday signs. Put them under the deck to take inside later.
Changed clothes and met hubby with the Excursion at the shop. He drove me to my nail appointment. Snow is coming down heavier now. I got my nails done from 11:15 - 11:45. Then we got lattes at Jitterz and picked up Pizza Hut pizzas that hubby had ordered. We drove back home.
Went inside house and gave dogs some sausage log & ham slices because we had forgotten to get hamburgers.
I was getting ready to make crab cakes but hubby came back to house and said he needed to go into CDA for parts. Really snowing heavy now. We took the red dually.
Drove to town. Cars going slow on Hwy 95. Saw a couple wrecks. Picked up parts and then drove back again. More car wrecks. We came home the back way via Boekel.
At home it had snowed about a foot already. Hubby took the grey truck to the shop. I shoveled the decks 3 times and it piled up again. I finally gave up by 4:00PM.
High of 31 degrees.
I shoveled the decks again by 6:00PM and then walked down to the shop to get hubby. He was drinking beer with Tim. I told him to come home. I walked back home and he drove both the Red Dually & the Grey Dodge back to the house.
We shoveled again by the time he got home. Did a nice little walk area for the dogs so they can potty if it gets too deep. Plus a little walking lane out to the woods for them.
My back had gone out right after finishing shoveling, it hurt so bad that I sat on a heating pad for the rest of the night.
Piles of snow came off the roof, but hubby decided to wait until morning to shovel there on the side deck. We went to bed at 11:30.

XMAS DAY & POST XMAS
XMAS DAY THURSDAY
12-25-2014
Got up and made cheese eggs for dogs. Hubby texted the kids; they were in Florida at Disney World & EPCOT. While he was talking on the phone, he fed eggs to Ben.
We got everything cleaned up and hubby passed out presents. We chose not to wrap the presents to waste more wrapping paper.
Hubby had gotten heated seats installed in the Red Dually yesterday as a present to himself.
After unwrapping our presents, we started to make food. But realized that we forgot to thaw the turkey & ham! Will have to bake those on Sunday!
Then we took dogs for walk in park. It was very cold. We walked in the campground area. Then fed ducks in Bayview after walk.
Erin's Espresso was closed, so we decided to drive to Rathdrum to see if Jitterz was open. No such luck. We got gas instead and got extremely poor coffee drinks out of the dispenser at the gas station.
Came home and hubby started making crab. I made bacon roll-ups. We put out all the food. Warmed up the Crab Rangoon. Put out the Beef Brisket. Put out the cheese & crackers. Put out the cheese ball. Made the mini weiners with BBQ sauce in the crockpot.
We watched National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, the old Christmas Carol, and A Christmas Story.
Also took the old dishwasher off the deck and put it in the back yard behind the garage. We need to haul it to the recyclers.
I got tired around 9:30 and went to bed extremely exhausted. Hubby cleaned up some food and came up later.
POST XMAS FRIDAY

The day after Christmas seems so depressing.
Got up and it was extremely cold in the house. Started all the heaters.
I made cheese eggs for dogs and a sandwich for hubby. He started his dually and then sat around watching TV until 7AM. Hubby had to go to work today.
When I woke up, I had felt good but had started sneezing and then a cold. Hubby gave me Cold Calm and I took 2 Benadryl. Passed out on the couch.
Hubby called and guy had to pick up truck at shop. I went down to open doors by 10:00 in the FMF so I would not freeze. Guy came at 11AM finally!
I picked up dog poop in the backyard around 1PM and then went to get mail. Got 1 more Xmas card.
Hubby worked 2 hours OT. He got home around 6:45.
We watched tv & went to bed at 10:00PM.

CLARION CHRISTMAS & XMAS EVE
TUESDAY
12-23-2014
Got up and made eggs for dogs; egg sandwich for hubby. He had gotten up really early so that he could get candy loaded in his truck.
After he left I fed the deer, took more Xmas postcards to the mailbox, did laundry, did dishes.
Then I made another batch of Magic Bars.
Cleaned up the house.
It started raining really hard.
Hubby came home at 5:30; we got ready to go to Xmas program.
Took the red Dodge. Got lattes in Rathdrum. Drove into town and looked at pretty lights.
Got to the Kroc Center about 7:10. Still raining. Very cold.
Had fun listening to the Clarion Brass! This is a great tradition. During the Jolly Wassail Bowl song they did a cute skit that involved beating on plastic Xmas cups & clapping. What talent.
The show finished at 9:15. We drove to Olive Garden and ate there again. No alcohol!
After eating, we picked up dog burgers at McDonalds and got groceries at Walmart. Lots of stinky, smoky, disgusting people there at 10:30 at night. Druggies everywhere. Very depressing. We got out of there quickly.
Drove home and gave burgers to dogs. Unloaded groceries. Went to bed at 11:30.

Got up and made eggs for dogs; made egg sandwiches for hubby.
It was snowing. Bah humbug. I did not want snow this year.
Cleaned up the house. Had to shovel both decks.
ABC Appliance guy named Scott came at 10:00; the dishwasher front was damaged. He did not install it.
I had to shovel the decks again. However, by 11:00 it was melting! No more snow.
At 11:00, I called to order our Crab Rangoon at Golden Dragon in Post Falls for hubby to pick up at Noon.
Walked down to get the mail at 1:00PM, but there was just 1 piece of junk advertising. No more Xmas cards. That is depressing. We only received 13 cards this year. Did not even receive a Xmas card from our daughter. So sad.

Struggled to wake up; heard hubby urging me to wake up and felt him rubbing my hair & kissing me!
Got up and made breakfast eggs for puppies. Made egg sandwich for hubby.
Did huggies with the dogs at the door. Even Bud came to get a squishy hug before hubby left.
I walked down to the mailbox & posted the rest of the Xmas postcards. Came back & fed the deer.
Then I took Bud with me to Athol and picked up a $25 latte stand gift certificate for hubby's Xmas present with the change I counted out the other day. I also stopped at Super G to get a couple lottery tickets. Hope they are lucky this year!
I went down to get mail at 1:00PM. Just junk mail and no more Xmas cards!

A Christmas CAROL

Real awful sleep last night. I kept opening and closing the window for fresh air. Had to put Lil Bit on the floor early because he was so restless & panting. Hubby gave up and went down stairs to sleep on the couch. Buddy slept with him on the couch.
I got up at 8:00; made the bed and then came down stairs. Made cheese eggs for the dogs & a egg sandwich for hubby.
Lil Bit was limping. His right rear leg was hurting him. Hubby felt it all over & manipulated it, but Lil Bit did not cry.
Hubby watched his shows for a while. Had a hard time waking up because he had taken his prescription sleeping pill last night for the first time and it gave him an intense headache. He said he will never take it again!
We loaded the dogs up and took them into Athol so they could bark at other dogs in town. Got lattes in town. Then took dogs to park. We walked in the area near the water tower. Then drove down to the boat dock where we saw 2 eagles flying past.
Stopped to get milk at Lil Town Market.
At home, hubby got out at the shop & brought the red dually up so we could go to the dump. I unloaded dogs. Took the milk in the house.
Gave Lil Bit an aspirin for pain.
Helped load garbage with hubby. Then went to the dump on Diagonal with Bud & Ben in the backseat.
On the way back, we went to Spirit Lake to get large dog bones for Xmas. Also picked up some eggs. Very expensive tho. $5.39 for 18 eggs.
We came home, fed the deer, wrapped Barbie for Tessa & off-road vehicle for Gauge. Then we got ready to go to Newport for play.
Left the dogs home chewing bones to occupy them while we were gone. Stopped at Chad's house. Gave Angus her Xmas bone, left the Xmas presents for the kids in the shop.
Drove to Spirit Lake to get lattes. Then on to Newport where we got more groceries at Safeway. Eggs were much cheaper. Got ice cream so I can have Brandy Alexanders for Xmas.
Got lost looking for the Pend Oreille Players Association. It was right across from Safeway, but we had gone downtown instead!
The play was A Christmas Carol and it was boring, some RUDE ass people had brought their toddler & it would not shut up the whole program. We left during the intermission because it was a badly acted play, the seats were SO very uncomfortable, and the actors would not speak up so that we could hear them! We were even in the front row and could not hear well.
Hubby took me over Golden Dragon restaurant so he could eat oriental again.
Then we drove home.
Cut up the frozen Magic Bars & watched the Muppet's Christmas Carol on tv.

Christmas Candy Making Day

Got up at 7:30; slept in late. Had nightmares again last night.
I made cheese eggs for dogs & a egg sandwich for hubby. He finally got up about 8:15; took a shower.
Then got dressed & loaded dogs in Excursion. On the way out of the driveway, the FedEx man dropped off my new Xmas camera, a Nikon DSLR 3200.
We went into Athol for a latte; took dogs for walk in park down by the shooting range. It was 32 degrees slightly overcast & foggy, but it was a nice walk.
We drove down to Bayview to feed the ducks. Huey & Dewey were there. No Louie.
Came back & mailed more Xmas postcards in Athol.
Hubby dropped us off & he went down to shop to work. Mark was already down there.
After ordering a new RED oster blender on Amazon, I started making Xmas candy.

At 3:00PM, I went down to get the mail and feed the deer. The deer were already out in the yard! They watched me walk down the driveway. So I went to get the mail first, stopped at the shop to feed Jack some leftover bacon roll-ups, then came back to feed the deer.
I came back to the house & made Peppermint Almond Bark because I had forgotten to do it.
Then I took a hot bath. Hubby came home at 4:00PM.

At 3:00PM, I went down to get the mail and feed the deer. The deer were already out in the yard! They watched me walk down the driveway. So I went to get the mail first, stopped at the shop to feed Jack some leftover bacon roll-ups, then came back to feed the deer.
I came back to the house & made Peppermint Almond Bark because I had forgotten to do it.
Then I took a hot bath. Hubby came home at 4:00PM.

Got up when hubby left the bed. Made eggs for dogs, egg sandwich for hubby.
Hubby sat down to watch the news for a while. He left at 7:00.
I did laundry & dishes.
Then paid bills online.
Vacuumed and cleaned house.
Picked up dog poo.
Got mail & fed deer. We received 3 more Xmas cards in the mail.
Hubby got home late; then he had to find a rear end down at the shop.
Went to Olive Garden in CDA. Met kids there instead of in Spokane because we were running late. Sat at the bar to wait our table. Bartender was really stupid. Served warm wine. Hubby got drunk. We were seated in back; table was too big & area was noisy. Kids got there at 8:00; we had dinner. Hubby knocked over wine on table!
Left about 10:00; said goodbye to kids in parking lot.
Got Wendy's burgers and drove home to dogs. Gave burgers to dogs & went to bed. Hubby stayed on the couch until 1AM.

TRADITIONS OF CHRISTMAS AT THE KROC

12-18-2014
Only 7 days til Xmas!
Nightmares last night. Ugh.
Woke up at 5AM to pee, then got up at 6:14AM when hubby left the bed.
Made eggs for dogs, egg sandwich for hubby. Also used the sausage cream cheese roll ups as bread to hold his eggs. That will make a different taste!
Did squishy dog hugs with Lil Bit and Ben. Bud hid in the library.
Hubby left at 7:05AM. Took his red dually into work.
I did couple loads of laundry & dishes.
UPS came at 10:00 to bring my Lancome.
At 5PM, hubby came home and had a quick snack, changed clothes. We left bones for the dogs, and turned on lights for Maggie.
Picked up lattes in Rathdrum, then went to pick up Vera (Dave was still working up by Bonners Ferry so he could not attend with us), gave her the wood branch deer. She gave us some homemade pumpkin bread! Vera is looking SO much better since her surgery and the last time we saw her!
We drove to the KROC Center and went to the "Traditions of Christmas" performance. It was very good. Vera really liked it.
At 9:00, we took Vera back home. Dave was there by then and we talked to him for a while.
We left and drove to Albertsons to get milk & groceries. Then went to Wendy's to get dog burgers.
Drove home on Hwy 95; there was a deer hit dead in the road. Very sad. At home, we gave burgers to dogs and went to bed.

Re-strung the female deer on the deck. Walked down the drive with Bud on a leash to get mail.
Shoveled the decks because there was a light covering of snow after last night.
Made Sausage Cream Cheese Roll-ups.
Checked to make sure that Home Depot gave us a refund of $148.50.
At 5:00 Dave Rodriguez called me to check on the weather. It was 38 degrees and was already snowing pretty big flakes here. But by 6:30 the snow had already stopped.

How many days till Xmas? Seems like it is coming too fast now.
Got up and made cheese eggs for dogs. Made egg sandwich for hubby. Thank goodness we have water & dishwasher again in the kitchen.
Hubby left at 7:00 in the Red Dually.
I did a couple loads of laundry. Opened the mini blinds because it is getting warmer. Did a load of dishes in the new dishwasher.
Washed my hair. Vacuumed the living room carpet again and cleaned out the vacuum. Cleaned the floor in the kitchen where the dishwasher had made scuff marks.
Ordered a new Nikon D3200 DSLR from Walmart online.
Put up the red lights on the tree outside. Installed the new light timers. Fed the deer. Picked up dog poop. Gathered all the garbage in the house and put it in the garage. Put away dishes. All before 10AM. It must be the B12 I started taking again giving me all this energy!
Made green Marshmallow Rice Krispy treats for hubby.
Made Chocolate Scotcheroos.
Made Peppermint White Chocolate Popcorn.
Started snowing lightly around 5:30.
Hubby came home after working for 1.5 hours Overtime. Then we loaded Lil Bit & Maggie into the Red Dually to run over to Spokane in order to purchase gears from a guy that hubby had found on Craigslist. We drove to the CAT dealer because the guy worked 2nd shift there.
After hubby got done in Spokane and on the way back to CDA, hubby called in an order for wings at Wing Stop (at my suggestions); we picked those up and stopped at Big Lots for more lights. The female fucking deer on the deck lost the lights on the front half of her body.
We also picked up a gift basket for Don & Lucille. Got them spaghetti, pasta, pasta sauce, garlic, crackers. It all fit quite well into the basket.
I walked Lil Bit over to the Wing Stop when hubby walked there to get his order. Lil Bit pottied on a couple trees. Then we stopped at Wendy's across the street to pick up dog burgers.
Drove home and gave burgers to the dogs. Hubby had his dinner. It was 9:45 by the time we got home. I took a pill and we went to bed.

Recap of the Weekend
SATURDAY
12-13-2014
Got up at 8:00, dogs would not let us sleep in any longer! I made eggs for dogs, egg sandwich for hubby.
Then hubby watched a couple shows on tv before getting dressed. We drove to the latte stand for drinks, then took the dogs to the park for a walk.
Drove to Bayview to feed the ducks. Also fed a bunch of Canadian geese. Huey & Dewey were there, but Louie looked quite sick. Louie stayed in the water and did not eat much.
By 11:00, we were back. Unloaded dogs. Hubby went to work down at shop.
I got ready and went to my nail appointment at 12:15. I got another latte at Jitterz. Then went to get my toenails painted with red & put little white snowflakes on them. Got my nails redone to a much shorter length to see what I will have to wear when taking massage classes.
At 2:00, I was done and on my way. Picked up dog burgers at McDonalds, picked up pizza for the guys at Pizza Hut. Goodwill was closed so I could not drop off the bags to donate.
Came home, picked up mail, and dropped off the pizza to the guys. Gave a hamburger to Jack, Mark's dog at the shop.
I fed the dogs their burgers.
Then I went outside and fed the deer.
Hubby came home at 6:00 and we watched tv for the rest of the night.
SUNDAY
12-14-2014
Got up at 8:30. I made eggs for dogs, egg sandwich for hubby.
Picked up drinks at the latte stand, took the dogs for a walk in the park. Getting colder.
Then we went to Bayview to feed the ducks. Louie was not there. We are scared that he might be sick or dead.
Hubby took out the old dishwasher and forgot to turn off the water line underneath the sink. It started spraying water everywhere. Good thing I had taken everything out from under the sink. He finally got the water turned off. We had to vacuum up the water, wipe the rest down with towels, and then put fans on everything.
The old machine WAS actually hard-wired so the installers COULD have put it in like they were PAID to do.
Hubby managed to put the old spout from the other dishwasher on the end of the copper water line so that it would not leak.
He called Home Depot to complain and eventually a guy called back to tell us that we would have to wait until Monday to talk with somebody to schedule another installation.
Hubby drank a beer to calm down.
We put together the Saint Bernard pulling the Christmas sled lights and put it outside later. I put timers on most of the lights outside.
We also fed the deer.
Hubby surfed the internet on his laptop and we watched tv until we went to bed at 9:30.
MONDAY
12-15-2014
Got up at 8:30 and dressed. I was unable to make breakfast because the water was still disconnected. So we readied the dogs for a dog walk, went to pick up lattes in Athol and drove to the park.
The sun was shining today, but it was much colder. Only 36 when we walked. We stayed out in the sun and walked around the water tower.
We stopped and fed some ducks & Canadian geese. No sign of Huey, Dewey or Louie.
Came back home and I changed clothes & picked up my purse. We drove to Rathdrum and got lattes at Jitterz. Got hamburgers for the dogs at McDonalds because I could not breakfast for everyone today. I fed them the burgers at Jitterz.
We went to Corbin Park in Post Falls to walk the dogs some more. It was windy & shady down by the river. We did a quick walk. I had to pee by a tree 1/2 into the walk.
Bernice called from Home Depot. I explained that they needed to bring out a new dishwasher since the one they delivered had a scratch on the front door. She whined about 48 hours to return & nonsense about the manufacturer would not take it back from Home Depot. I told her we were thoroughly angry & upset that the original installers were so STUPID or LAZY that they did not install it. We still had not gotten our install refund from 10 days ago! So she said she would talk to her manager and get a solution then call back. Duh. WHY call me in the first place! Idiot people.
Afterwards, we went to the Army/Navy Surplus in CDA to check on a wool coat for me, but they did not have any. Crying baby in the store got on my nerves. Saw the owner take his dog thru the store. Petted the dog.
Hubby got a call back from Bernice and she said they would have ABC Appliance replace the front door of the new dishwasher and that Home Depot would refund the install fee plus refund us $75 for the trouble that we had gone thru. About time! WHY do we have to pull teeth to get customer SERVICE???
Stopped at Big Lots to get red LED lights, 2 light timers, a Barbie & a remote controlled off-road Silverado truck (for Chad's kids).
We shopped at Costco and got paper towels, toilet paper, etc. The line was too long for a hot dog so I told hubby that I would take him to PauPau's kitchen. We walked the dogs in the Costco parking lot before we left.
Instead of staying in town, we decided to drive home and drop off the dogs. They had been sitting in the truck too long.
We drove home, there was a guy waiting to see hubby at the shop so I dropped him off there and went to the house to unloaded everything. I fed the deer.
At 3:00, I went back to the shop and told hubby we had to leave in time for his Dr appt.
We took the Red Dually back into town with Bud only.
Picked up deer food at the Farmer's home on Hayden Avenue. Got 2 bags.
Stopped at the Columbia Bank ATM so hubby could pick up some cash. Picked up lattes at Jitterz and the girl made my drink WRONG. She filled hubby's drink with foam! We did not have enough time to go back and have them corrected because we had to get to hubby's 4:15PM Dr appt. Had to pay with a credit card because hubby had no cash! After the appointment, we went back and corrected my latte. Stopped at the Columbia Bank ATM so hubby could pick up some cash.
Picked up dog food, deer food, a pig ear for Bud and some bolts for hubby. Bud nosed a box full of dog cookies & dropped them on the floor. He scooped up some of the broken pieces to eat. Bad dog! LOL.
We went to PauPau's to eat. Hubby had Kung Pao chicken while I ordered the Sweet & Sour chicken. It was pretty warm in the restaurant and LOTS of people were coming in to get their pick-up orders! After we were done, we went back to Wendy's to get dog burgers where they only gave us 3 out of the 4 we ordered. We had to drive around again and instead of giving a complimentary burger for our problems, they only gave us 1 burger. Assholes. No customer service & no going out of their way to retain customers!
Finally drove home around 7PM. Fed burgers to dogs.
Hubby installed our new dishwasher with only a little leaking of water. The new dishwasher actually works & does not leak!
Went to bed at 10:30. Tired.

Woke up at 5AM; then just could not fall back to sleep. Got up at 6:00.
Still relatively warm. 46 degrees, but it was raining all day.
Made cheese eggs for dogs; made egg sandwich for hubby. We watched tv weather & news after we were done feeding dogs because we had gotten up so early.
Hubby left for work at 7:00AM.
I did several loads of laundry & did dishes.
The UPS order from Lancome came. I gave the UPS driver & his helper their Seasonal tips.
Went outside to pick up dog poo. Another full bag. I am still finding old poo out there!
Took Maggie & Lil Bit with me to get the mail. Left the Seasonal tip for the USPS person in our mailbox. STILL NO XMAS CARDS!
I put more lights on the snowman outside.
When I came inside, I ironed patches on my jeans that were ripped the other day. Then I vacuumed the rugs.
Got the dog bones out of the freezer so the dogs can have them tonight when we leave for the play.

RAINING

Got up at 6AM. I had slept thru the whole night!
Temp was 45 degrees when we woke up. I am really liking this wet, warm winter!
Made egg breakfast for dogs; made egg sandwich for hubby.
Hubby had to clean out Ben's ears again and give him antibiotics & steroid pills for his infection.
After hubby left, I did laundry and dishes.
Then went outside to pick up another full bag of dog poo. I think I have gotten most of the old stuff now. After not picking up for a whole month, that was a lot of poo out there.
I had an attack of endometriosis pain and had to take some ibuprofen. Felt better after a hot bath & sitting on a heating pad.
It started raining at 2:00.

Hubby had to clean out Ben's ears again and give him antibiotics & steroid pills for his infection.
After hubby left, I did laundry and dishes.
Then went outside to pick up another full bag of dog poo. I think I have gotten most of the old stuff now. After not picking up for a whole month, that was a lot of poo out there.
I had an attack of endometriosis pain and had to take some ibuprofen. Felt better after a hot bath & sitting on a heating pad.
It started raining at 2:00.

I got up out of bed later. Hubby had already left for work. I was up since 3AM awake after going potty during the night. I could not fall back to sleep.
Got up and gave the dogs a piece of ham. Then I fed the fish.
Did a couple loads of laundry.
Went outside to pick up 8 bags of dog poo. The yard was FULL of poo.
Dressed to go get my hair done. Told the dogs to behave when I left.
I stopped in Rathdrum to get a latte.
Saw two dogs running along the road on Mullan in Post Falls; one a little tiny poodle and then a big Labradoodle.
Hubby was supposed to be at the hair stand putting in DSL, but he had already left by the time I got there at 11:30AM. So I waited in my car until 12:00. I had to re-park the car in the middle of two parking spots because some older woman parked right on top of me and I could not get out of the car!
Julie was staring at my car and I got out of it; she was looking at the emblem on the car.
She did my hair. I left by 2:00.
Stopped at McDonalds to get dog burgers; stopped at Steins where an irritating Salvation Army bell ringer kept up with the bells and I complained to the cashiers about getting a headache from it. Purchased dog bones and then got change for giving out to the USPS and UPS drivers. Also bought a lottery ticket.
I got home by 2:45.Picked up mail - got hubby's sweatshirts for Xmas presents.
Did more laundry, changed my clothes because my pants had a rip in them. Took out garbage. Fed the deer.
Hubby came home briefly at 6:00 then went down to the shop to work until 8:00. He came home and had rewarmed pizza.

Count Down to Xmas
MONDAY
12-8-2014
I got up and made eggs for the dogs and an egg sandwich for hubby.
I was extremely tired today; more coughing and felt exhausted.
Put lights up around the garage & around a tree. Went down to get the mail, fed the deer. Took garbage out. Vacuumed the rugs.
Even though it was thoroughly warm outside, I had a chill going all day & kept the fireplace turned on.
Hubby came home at 6:00, then had to help Mark at the shop until 7:30. I went down there with Ben on a leash, put him in the Dodge and told hubby we needed to go get more milk.
Fed some frozen sausage links to Mark's dog - Jack. Jack really liked them. He is a happy dog.
I had to wait a few minutes for hubby, then we went down to the Lil Town Market and got milk.
We came home and watched the Xmas Lights Competition from 8:00-10:00. It was very pretty.
I went to bed at 10:00; hubby came to bed way later. He was having trouble sleeping again.
TUESDAY

Lots of trains going by today. Really loud because of the cloud cover.
I hung up all the Xmas ornaments in the window.

I went down to get mail. Still no Xmas cards yet.
Hubby came home at 7PM; he brought Papa Murphy's pizzas. I put them in the oven while he went down to the shop. He came back at 8:05pm; I was already watching Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer on tv. Hubby ate his pizza, then fell asleep on the couch.
Hubby woke up at 9:30 and went outside to feed the deer.
We went to bed at 10:30 after the news.

WARM Winter
SUNDAY

Only 18 more days left until Xmas!
At 3AM, I had endo pains, so had to get up and take a hot bath & lots of aspirin. I was able to go back to sleep. It was not a very bad attack.
40 degrees by 8AM; 42 degrees by 9AM. What a great winter so far!
I woke up at 8AM; hubby was still snoring. Lil Bit was at my feet, so I rubbed his belly for a while. I got up and made the dogs eggs for breakfast & a breakfast sandwich for hubby.
Put bacon stuffing roll ups in the oven around 9AM.
Hubby started watching an old Jimmy Stewart movie - No Highway In The Sky.
After the movie, we took the dogs for a walk down in the park. It was fun.
Then we stopped in Bayview to feed the ducks. Huey, Dewey, & Louie came running just as we were coming to the end of the bread. There was also a wild Canadian Goose there that was by itself. He followed hubby on the dock to get fed.
We came home and then took Ben with us to the garbage dump. Stopped on the way back at Lil Town Market to get milk.
At home, we changed clothes and went into town. Got gasoline in the Excursion, got lattes at Jitterz in Rathdrum, then went to see AICM in Post Falls, washed the Excursion at the car wash there. I purchased a gift certificate for more washes. Then we drove to Big Lots and got lights, along with a couple Barbie dolls & a stuffed animal for Tim's kids.
We went to eat at Red Lobster. It was really good. Seated at a table back by the bathroom, but very private. It was only 3:00, so there were not very many people there. The sun set while we were there & it got very dark.
At 4:30, we left and went to Walmart to get some groceries. I had to dodge around some drug addicts in order to go to the bathroom in the back of the store. We finally got out of there at 5:30 and then went to get dog burgers at Wendy's. Drove home and fed the dogs. Hubby unloaded groceries & I put them away.
We watched tv for a while, then went to bed early.

JAZZ CONCERT

Got up after hubby left for work. Hubby had the "jimmy" shake leg all night long. I could not get any sleep.
Fed the fish. Fed the deer.
I cleaned up the house. They are supposed to deliver the new dishwasher today.
At around 2:30, the delivery guys called and they came out at 3:00 but because our old dishwasher was wired directly instead of being plugged into an outlet, they could not install the new one. They said we would have to call out an electrician.
So I had them leave the new dishwasher in the garage.
Hubby got home around 7:00 after picking up a truck. Then he went down to the shop to work.
I watched Z Nation and then went to bed at 9:00. Hubby came home and went to bed at 11:00.
SATURDAY
12-6-2014
I was awake every hour last night, having to get up and pee. Then I was hot & sweaty so I slept on the couch for an hour. Very uncomfortable all night.
We woke up to snow falling off the roof; Lil Bit came upstairs and whined to be put on the bed, Ben jumped up on the bed because he was scared of the snow hitting the deck.
Got up at 8AM and made eggs for dogs; made egg sandwich for hubby. Pulled out all the old food in the fridge and took it with us down to the park. Purchased lattes for both of us on the way to the park. Mine was mostly made with foam!
We walked in the campground area. It was slightly raining, slushy, but very warm. About 37 degrees by the time we walked.
After our walk, we drove down to the boat dock. The water was very dark blue. Cloudy out today. Then we drove to Bayview. Got out to feed the ducks & 1 lone Canadian goose some of our bread sticks that were still left over from Olive Garden last week. Hubby almost fell into the water when he checked out a boat that was in the marina. The ducks started to follow us off the docks.
Came back and hubby went to the shop to work. I was at the house with the dogs. I did laundry, did dishes. Shaved my legs, curled my hair. Decided to run down to Bayview to the Craft fair at the Community Center.
I walked down to the shop to ask if hubby would take me over to Charles' shop to pick up the grey Dodge. So he drove me over. I came back and took Bud along with me. But I had forgotten to take money with me and had to drive all the way back home. I wasn't going to go back, but hubby told me to go anyway and gave me money. So Bud & I drove all the way back to Bayview and got the two reindeer that I had wanted to purchase. I will give one to Vera R because she saw one of these in the storage area of our Zipline ride and expressed the desire for one.
Then I came home.
I ordered Lancome perfume for myself for an Xmas present.
Hubby called me around 3:00 and asked me to come down so he could drive a truck over to Charles' shop and follow him in the grey Dodge to bring him home. So I got dressed and we did that.
When I came back, I fed the deer. It was very dark outside.
I had to run down to the shop at 5:15 because hubby was not answering his phone. Mark's dog, Jack had torn up a box & was sleeping on the pieces. The concrete floor in the shop is probably pretty cold. Smart dog.
We got ready and I decided not to dress up; wore my old jeans.
Drove to Rathdrum and got lattes; then took the interstate to Spokane. We parked at our regular parking lot just West of the Bing.
It was crowded at the entrance because people were picking up tickets at Will Call. Hubby purchased a box of popcorn at the entrance. He wanted a snack. I pottied in the Balcony bathroom (it was COLD) and talked to a lady in there that was married to one of the trumpet players.
We went upstairs to the Wine Lounge called Ovations Wine Bar. Hubby convinced me to purchase a whole bottle of Riesling before the concert because we got there at 7:00 and had 30 minutes to wait. Hubby filled my glass to the rim & I spilled it on myself!
When entering the Balcony, a lady directed us to the incorrect seats. We went up, and were supposed to go DOWN. We had great seats! Right at the edge of the balcony on the south side.
The concert was wonderful, the musicians were highly talented and even Charlotte Carruthers was pretty good.
We left the concert by the back emergency exit and then went to get our truck at the Parking Ramp.
Drove to Rathdrum and hubby got dog burgers at McDonalds, then had to drive thru at Taco Bell. Got their rolled up chicken tacos, but at home found that they were several hours old and not edible. They had also not given us our spicy cheese dip; instead had given us some taco sauce...
We watched the news and went to bed at 11:30.

SNOW DAY & PHILIP AABERG CONCERT
THURSDAY

Hubby kept me up all night with his intensive snoring & leg jerking. Even though I had taken a sleeping pill, I still could not sleep.
I slept in this morning when hubby went to work.
Got up and saw that it had snowed. Just a dusting, but enough to be awful. I don't want snow this year.
I fed the fish, went outside to feed the deer, walked down to the mailbox to get mail.
Vacuumed the house, did several loads of laundry. Washed my hair. Decorated the house with Xmas decor. Put up more lights outside on the deck.
An automated call came from Home Depot around 3:00PM; it said that our delivery of our new dishwasher would be between 2:30 and 5:30PM tomorrow! So excited for a new dishwasher. The old one has only one cycle for the last couple years.
A couple deer came to eat around 4:00pm.
Hubby got off early, but it took him a long time to drive home because it was snowing so much. He said that traffic was going about 25 mph.
He finally got home at 5:30 and we got changed. We left and noticed that Tim & #3 were at the shop. Hubby called Charles and was told that he had left the window open on his grey Dodge. We had to drive BACK to the house to get the keys for the Dodge, then drive to Charles' shop, and roll up the window.
Then we drove to Rathdrum to pick up drinks before the Concert.
We got to the Kroc Center exactly on time for the Philip Aaberg concert. He played piano. It was OK. Not very many Xmas songs and it was SOOOOOOooooo long. The concert started at 7:30, the first break was at 8:30; then the concert did not resume until 9:00 after intermission. We decided that we needed to leave after the intermission. I went potty, then we left.
Picked up burgers for the dogs at Wendy's, then drove home.
Dogs did not chew anything up! Yippee. We gave them the burgers.
Went to bed shortly after we got home.

Drove to Vet's office with Ben and purchased County license for Maggie. Then went to Lil Town Market and picked up a couple gallons of milk.
Rested in the afternoon because I still have no strength & energy from the flu.
Hubby came home at 7PM after stopping to pick up parts at CN. Then he fell asleep on the couch.
TUESDAY

Hubby left this morning before waking me up. I did not even hear him leave.
I got up and gave the dogs some turkey slices.
Fed the fish & fed the deer.
Got ready to leave at 12:40. Drove to Rathdrum and got a latte, then went to AICM to discuss taking classes there. I talked with Jackie and had a tour of the building.
Then I washed the car in Post Falls. Some old man tried to cut in front of the line of all the cars, but I pulled forward and beeped at him. He finally backed up and got into line.
After washing the car, I drove to Rathdrum and went to get my nails done.
When I was done getting my nails done, I went to McDonalds to get dog burgers. Drove home, fed the dogs their burgers. They were overjoyed to see me home.
Hubby came home at 6:00 and ate dinner. He fell asleep on the couch again. He is still sick with a cold.
